"You meant what you said and you said what you meant, don't fucking apologize for it," she said, her tone bitter and harsh but her voice quiet as she moved away from his touch. The last thing she wanted was to be around some one who pitied her.
"I said before, I'm expendable, replaceable and worthless for the most part," she said with a shrug, her voice cold and her eyes unreadable as she stared ahead. Her eyes blinked rapidly as she willed away the tears, she had no right to be crying over something she couldn't change. She had chosen her path and she would deal with it.

Alehkar cringed as she flinched away from his touch. His eyes falling to look at his feet as he shoved his hand back in his pocket and sighed. Biting his lower lip in thought before lifting his eyes to look at her again. “You are not expendable. And I am not denying what I said, I am simply .. I just got angry and I don’t really understand why. It’s not my place. I was not judging you..“ He was not wanting her to leave, and he was being a complete jackass before. Alehkar did not pity her, did not feel sorry for her, but simply felt sorry that he had to push her away to get to know her.
He shifted almost awkwardly as he looked around then back to her, looking almost like a lost little boy that was completely at a loss for words. He never talked to women, and apparently he was no good at it, as he started yelling at a complete stranger for no reason that was his business. “I shouldn’t have gotten upset..”

"You already did," she said, turning to face him as she crossed her arms over her stomach, more like she was hugging herself. "You are angry because your nature it to protect people from things that are hurting them. You're a daemon and it's bothering you that you can't protect me from myself and from what you don't know. Which is why I told you to forget about me," she said, pushing a hand through her hair.
"You got upset, now get over it. It happens to everyone," the petite woman said, watching him with hardened amethyst eyes that were unreadable at the moment, the tears since fled. She was more holding onto that last shreds of anger because it was hard to stay mad at him when it was his nature and he was powerless to stop it.
The anger soon dissipated and she sighed, shifting slightly and tilting her head back to look up at the sky before closing her eyes, trying to gather her thoughts from the chaos of her mind before either of them spoke again.

Alehkar shifted uncomfortably as she spoke, the understanding that came from her was a bit more of a shock then the anger. He watched her hug herself and bit on his lower lip awkwardly as he got quiet himself. A sigh escaped and he kept his gazed down before shrugging his shoulders. “ I don’t want to forget you. I like you, I must if I could lose my anger with you so easily. Which I never do. But if you wont be my friend I understand, after all I don’t want to put you in danger. But..“
He paused shrugging and taking a step away from her with a slow goofy grin going across his lips. Looking at her almost carefully as he put space between them. “I’m surprised you didn’t punch me..Want to continue walking at least? Maybe go find a better place for a beer?” He shrugged nonchalantly again, not expecting to her agree for anymeans. He was a naïve young daemon, well young in regards to daemons not necessarily humans. "by the way..you dont' really look like a delilah for future references.." the last part was mumbled half under his breath as he stood there.

Asher laughed then, a light sound that was different from her earlier mood. "Would it make you feel better if I did hit you?" she queried as she arched an eyebrow, shaking her head in mild amusement.
"And I know what I look like and can perform most any act to perfection. It's part of my hidden talents," she said with a slight wink, not caring how perverted or lecherous that sounded. It wasn't like she really cared what others thought of her in the long run.
"But we can do as you please for the time being, I am in no mood to care or make a decision."

He could feel his body relax completely at her laugh, the sound a big change from before. An amused expression came to his face at her words, shaking his head lightly. ”I don’t believe I would like that, you make look petite but I have a feeling your hit would pack a big punch.” There was a slight laugh in his voice and he pretended to flinch away from her playfully.
Alehkar then moved away beginning to walk and turning to make sure she was coming with him. “I wouldn’t mind a drink. But I don’t want to get into a brawl. Tell me Deli—“ He cut himself off mid sentence as a frown came to his lips only for a split second before he pushed it away. ”—Asher.. Is there any place to go that wont be trouble making, even though I know you would rather trouble be found.”

"Trouble finds me, I don't find it," she said as she moved to walk next to him but far enough away that she wouldn't touch him on accident. The daemon didn't like to be touched, after all, she had figured out.
"There are other, more seedy places that only locals know and there are rarely fights, but I sense a combative mood floating around, so who knows? The whole city may be like Bellevin for tonight," she said, the name rolling off her tongue showing she was truly a native of the islands.
"And you can call me whatever name you please," she said.

Contemplation came across his face at her words before nodding. ” I just need a drink. “ he murmered half heartedly before shrugging and following her lead to a place to drink. A small place she was able to find, but Alehkar would have never even knew it existed. He walked in and held the door for her, looking at the place that was not too busy but still had a few tables full.
Moving to the back and in the corner he sat down, leaving her to follow if she wished. He never drank often, but when he did it was not always a pleasurable experience. After all, when he usually came to a bar he was by himself and in the corner to avoid conversation. Alehkar put his hair over his face a bit and ordered a shot and a beer from the lady that came up to him. Eyeing him with interest, to which he completely ignored. The girl snuffed her nose in the air. ”What you want?”

Asher grinned and told the woman that she wanted whatever was the strongest liquor they had, sending her a disarming smile as the barmaid scurried back to the bar with a light flush dusting her cheeks. Asher grinned and leaned back in her chair, sweeping her hair over one shoulder so that it trailed in front of her. Playing with the ends in a bored manner, violet eyes took in the people in the bar and she shook her head silently.
"That's a line everyone uses with me," she said with a light laugh as she propped her elbows on the table and her chin in her hands as she regarded the daemon with curious eyes. "Which brings me to my next point, what brings you into Temarra? Shouldn't you have someone you're trying to protect or some story like that?"

A smile dazzled his face at her first comment as he shook his head in amusement. But it was her second question that caught him off guard and he simply shrugged his shoulders, an action he’d been doing lately. The woman came back with a drink for Asher and Alehkar and he nodded. Taking a long drink of it as his smile disappeared from his faxe. ”Actually I do not know anyone. I do not protect anyone or even talk with them, I like to be alone.” Alehkar looked away from her to around the bar as a look of thought appeared. He never talked to people unless he found they needed help, and even then it was only ever an ‘are you okay?’ before he disappeared.
Others were always untrustworthy, and always betrayed him. He’d never had a friend in years and the last one he did died in his arms. ”People tend to disappoint, and are rather only looking for one thing from me. Either money or sex. Its not worth the effort. And I’m in temarra because I have travelled from abourno, and wanted a change. What about you? You seem at home here, but why not leave and go elsewhere?”

Asher gave him a secretive smile, one that told everything yet revealed nothing. It was a smile that often got her in trouble but showed she didn't give a damn. "I'm not from here. Although, I seem at home most anywhere I go, it's a trick of the trade, you could say," she said with a light laugh.
She sipped her drink, taking her time because ending up drunk was not always the best idea, especially if she was around someone she was unfamiliar with. Who knew what lay behind sugared words and a calm demeanor? It always paid to be cautious, especially in her trade.
She relaxed in the chair, tilting her head back enough so she stared at the dark ceiling above them, almost in contemplative thought.

”What are you thinking about?” Alehkar asked, watching her stare at the ceiling before a frown came across his face. Shaking his head he took another swig of his drink and leaned back in his own chair. His eyes remaining on her in an almost studying manner. ”By the way, If your bored with me you can go. I’m probably not very exciting and I’m sure you could find someone else for entertainment real quick. Sorry.” His eyes had moved to look at a few guys in the opposite corner looking over at them, and Alehkar could not help but let an amused expression cross his face. She was epic, even when she didn’t pay attention to anyone she was stirring up trouble.

"I should probably return to the Islands at some point," she said with a shrug as she tilted her head back to look at him, arching an eyebrow at his expression before her eyebrows furrowed for a brief moment as she let her eyes wander around what she could see without moving.
She assumed that it must be out of her field of vision and decided against turning around, deeming whatever it was unworthy of her time. "Nothing more than that," she said with a light laugh as she took another sip of her drink. "Even though I have no family nor have I ever had one, so there is no place that I can lay claim to being my home."

Alehkar smiled slightly, but he was saddened a bit. “Either do I. But Abourno is naturally my home, so atleast I have that in comfort. “ He wanted to ask more about her past, but doubted and was almost positive she would not give any answers to him regarding it. He took another drink until his glass was half empty before a lazy grin appeared. “Scared to get drunk with me? Just sipping. Bleh. That’s not very troublesome.” There was an amused tone to his voice as he leaned back in his chair and studied her. She was so guarded, so to herself.

Asher glared at him with an arched eyebrow in amusement. "No, not unless you want to keep your virginity intact, dearie," she said sweetly as she batted her eyelashes. "I'm known for wanting to fuck whoever I find attractive when I'm drunk. And I usually get my way too," she said with a laugh and a shrug as she took a drink of her liquor.
"You're undoubtedly curious about me, so ask if you really want to know, I'll tell you if I can," she said with a shrug as she leaned back in her chair.

Alehkar offered a small smile before shrugging and holding his glass up to hers. "I'm sure i could hold you off. Drink with me, then we can go on an adventure somewhere." He held his glass to await a cheers, a small smile on his lips. He didn't want to get drunk by himself, he always did that. Every night. By himself. Perhaps Asher had shown him not everyone was horrible at conversation, even if they had their own tiffs already. The war was over, perhaps he shouldn't be a hermit anymore. Should go out a bit, and actually communicate with others. On the other hand, he didn't really know anything about Asher. He watched her for a moment before shrugging his thoughts away with another drink. Lifting his hand to order more. "Please? I haven't drank with an acquaintance in a few years.. "

"Your funeral," she said with a laugh as she tipped her glass against his and then drank some of the liquid. She moved blonde hair out of her eyes as she sat properly in her chair, propping her elbows on her table and cradling her chin in her hands. Because she was so small and light, the alcohol would affect her a lot faster than he would, especially since she was drinking some potent stuff.
Shrugging her own thoughts away, she tilted her head to the side cutely and blinked at him, biting her lower lip and drawing it under for a moment before releasing it, thinking of what she wanted to say. "So what finally drew you out of Abourno?"

"I could take you, Asher. Mhmm." Shaking his head as he laugh in amusement at her tone before finishing the last of his drink. The waitress brought over two more and handed them to them and glancing at them both with another light flush to her cheeks. Alehkar simply smiled at her before bringing his attention back to Asher. Why did he bring himself out of Abourno? that was a good question that he had never really answered or asked himself before. Frowning for a moment in contemplative thought as he brought his new fresh drink to his mouth. Drinking as he thought before putting it down and shrugged nonchalantly.
"Well.. Actually i'm not really sure. I suppose i was just sick of myself. Sick at being locked in a hole with no where to go. Of seeing the same stuff everyday, the same four walls. I wanted out, but when i went out i never really stopped until i was out of Abourno. I do not like it there all that much.." His voice trailed off as he took another long swig. "Being a hermit is not much fun. Not trusting anyone, knowing anyone. Not being able to have a simple conversation over a drink."

Asher shrugged as she looked at the drinks in front of her. She finished off her first and set the glass down carefully, already able to feel the effects of the alcohol on her system. She shook her head, a smile working it's way over her lips as she watched him.
"Doesn't seem like it would be. Maybe that's for old people who have nothing else to do or wizards. Eclectic bunch, that lot," she said with amusement dancing in her eyes and through her words as her accent became a bit more pronounced now that she was getting drunk.

Alehkar nodded at her words. "Yeah i was starting to feel like i was a thousand years old. Talking to oneself is sort of a bit pitiful. Your actually one of the first people i've had a conversation that lasts more then ten minutes.." He lifted his glass to his lips as he noted her lull in her tone. "Tell me something about you. If you do not mind.."The daemon was very cautious around her and did not want to upset her again. did not want to offend or insult her again. And definately did not want to have to fly home after these drinks, at least not right away. His second drink finished and he placed it on the table next to hers. "Something real about you." He murmered almost half under his breath, a little shocked at how fast his second drink went down
