The djinn made another noise, this one sounding like he disproved of what she was saying. He released her and sent her a firm scowl to her direction, clearly asking why the hell he should care about other people.
"Is it other people you are concerned about or having me read your moods? I could care less about others," he said as he watched her from his position. "Now would you quit harping on my failings and focus on yours with giving commands on accident?" he asked, not exactly being mean but pointing out something that was rather important for them.

She sent him a sheepish grin, patting his cheek lightly. "My bad," the blonde said with a touch of embarassment. "But I'm trying at least, yeah? Some of the things i would usually phrase as orders are coming as questions at least. It'll take a while, but you might turn me into a polit lady yet with all your stupid djinn rules about speech." Which was the truth considering how very harsh her was of speaking was. It wasn't like it was totally her fault (when you're on the road alot, you don't exactly have alot of time for polite conversation), but she hadn't really helped it much by hanging around pubs growing up.

"We shall see," he said as he took her smaller hand in his larger one, kissing each of the finger tips and her palm before tugging her back to him and planting a gentle kiss on her lips, holding her in a firm yet gentle grip, showing he did care for her and it all wasn't just an act as it so often was with other djinn.
Releasing her from his grip, he leaned back, watching her with patient eyes as he waited for her to make the next move. His body was unreadable still, but that was only because she didn't know his moods yet, when it was merely an open invitation for her to do as she pleased.

Ro crossed her arms over her chest and quirked a brow as it to ask 'what?', staring at him with narrowed blue eyes. "If you're trying to tell me something, you might want to use actual words, because I can't read minds like you can," she suggested in a huff, twisting so that she fell beside him on the bed. "You're the one who started it before anyways, so don't expect me to do it. You missed your chance the first time around. If you wanna make-out with me again, you gotta get me when i'm in a really good mood or just in the mood."

"Actually, I can't use a majority of my magick against you now and that includes reading your mind. However, I still can speak directly into your mind and receive thoughts that you pointedly direct at me," he said with a shrug as he watched her, leaning back on his arms.
"Now you should practice issuing orders with Crow since I really don't feel like being dragged around the room. Nor would I suggest you actually try it now since that will make me angry," he said with a bit of a warning in his tone since he just knew she'd do it at some point.

She shrugged and curled against his side, peering into his eyes. "You never got to say what you wanted to say, you know," she said as she looked at him. "Don't you have anything want to get off your chest about me? I promise not to get mad, since it's your honest opinion. I'm sure I'm just as annoying to you as you are to me." That, and she was genuinely curious; he probably wasn't really allowed to express his opions about his masters and often bottled it up inside. Ro wanted to understand him just a little, and to do that, she needed to know what ailed him.

Morpheus chuckled and shook his head. "Don't worry about what I think, from what I have experienced, you will not be able to follow my thoughts, so do not worry, little one. I think nothing bad of you," he said as he wrapped his arm around her form, holding her while she lay on the bed.
In truth the djinn did not know if he could actually tell her what he thought, much less where to even begin. It had been a long time since someone had asked for his opinion and it had taken Jarlaxle years to get any sort of opinion from the djinn.

"Suit yourself," she shrugged, laying her head on his chest so that she could think. It was an innocent gesture, but it spoke volumes if one knew how few people she let get close enough to enven touch her like he had. Ro trusted him to an extent, and at least to not hurt her physically, but as far as emotionally...the blonde wasn't ready to open her heart up to anyone, so he'd be lucky to get called 'friend' anywhere between now and the near future. Which she'd offered of course, but it all depended on his actions.
She was also a firm believer that actions spoke louder then words. "Are all djinn as slippery as you, or you just a douche on your own?" she asked after a while.

He chuckled and shook his head, one hand coming up to slip through her hair, getting out all the tangles. "If you mean evading questions and twisting words, yes. We get worse with age," he said with humor in his voice. "None of us get particularly attached to our masters, there are a rare few in the world that treat us with some modem of respect, so we all prefer to take advantage of any slip of tongue," Morpheus continued, explaining as much as he could for her.
"Although with all the freedoms and words you've given me I haven't twisted them around much to suit me. Any other djinn would have and made you slip up so they could kill you," he said with a shrug.

Ro snorted, but couldn't help the contented smile as he continued to play with her hair. "Even if they tried, they wouldn't get me. I'm like a cockroach, and not even magic can kill me," she snickered. "Many have tried, none have succeeded. In a way I'm just as slippery as you," she declared with a laugh. "But it comes with the job description, and you have to be damn good at what I do in order to have stayed alive as long as I have. I think even you have trouble keeping track of me sometimes."

"You assume too much," he said simply as he let his fingers move through her hair, lulling her into a comfortable position. "Now hush and rest, save your energy for all these heists you proclaim at being so good at," he said with amusement in his tone.
The djinn really had no trouble keeping track of her, the tiny thread of magick he had instilled in her at their first meeting intensified with her being his master. All djinn knew where their master was at all times. It was law, it was how things were.

"You don't believe me," she pointed out, letting herself be lulled by his touch. Her eyelids were begining to get heavey, but still she charged on. "Looks like you'll have to tag along next time I go to work. Maybe then you'll see I'm not just blowing hot air." She tilted her head so that she could blow air on his neck, illustrating her point that way. "You've only just seen me get into trouble recently, but I'm usually pretty good at avoiding it. It's just since meeting you, ya dumb lamp post."

Morpheus chuckled, fingers continuing their movements until she fell asleep. "I believe you, little thief, but you should have known that djinns are trouble. We don't grant wishes," he said, alluding to the common mistake that everyone seemed to make about them. "Now hush, or I will turn into a lamp post," he said, the threat hardly an idle one.
"Now relax, I won't do anything," he said as he settled more comfortably on the bed, free arm coming up to rest behind his head as he cradled the base of his skull in his palm, closing his dark eyes.

Ro hummed sleepily, hardly hearing his words as sleep claimed her for the third time that afternoon, secretly planning the demise of the next person to wake her. There would be knives, most deffinitely, as well as the removal of several vital limbs and organs. The thought brought a contented smile to her face as her dreams took over. "Better not..." she muttered in her sleep, the threat hanging in the air.
She had killed people for waking her up, so it also was no idle threat. Hell, Ro had killed people simply for looking at her funny (although that had a story behind it she wasn't all that willing to tell); you just didn't cross the woman.

The djinn stayed still, his form only appearing to rest while thoughts whirled around in his head. Djinn did not need the same amount of sleep as the other races, nor did they even really sleep on this plane unless they were extremely injured, as he had done earlier when he had fought off the two summonings.
He wouldn't admit to anyone that he was attracted nor that the emotions he possessed for the human thief went beyond the normal djinn-master dichotomy, despite the occasional good master, he was finding himself liking her more and willing to do things for her that he wouldn't have even offered or dreamed up in the past.

Ro shifted in her sleep, pulling herself closer to the djinn and dropping an arm around his waist as she all but climbed on top of him. The bed itself wasn't all that comfortable (not that she was complaining; she'd slept in worse), but Morpheus was, and it had been a while since she'd used anything soft for a giant body pillow. Usually she just bunched up the blankets on whatever cot she was curled up on and cuddled with that, but having one who was actually warm was nice. Hell, she may just make him sleep with her every night if he was this comfy...

The djinn stayed still, letting her do as she pleased for the time being. If it got too annoying, he could always disappear back to his plane and leave her with something in his place. Somehow letting her drop flat onto the bed didn't appeal to him now, especially since he wanted to be left in peace for a few hours, if not a few days.
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, his magick summoning a game and an opponent that he played while she slept, helping the time go by. Some were won, others were lost.

"If you're that bored, you can go if you want," she mumbled sleepily, barely even half-awake. She'd said that she was much more susceptible to the changes in the air when he used magic then most humans, but it hadn't actually been that, that had woken her up; he'd been restless, and she could tell. "Just don't scare anyone on your way out, okay?" And to prove that she was fine with it, she tore herself away from him and rolled over onto her other side, curling up immediately to make up for the sudden loss of warmth.
Was it just her, or did all magical beings run hotter then humans? She couldn't remember...

The djinn sighed, bringing one arm over to bring her back against his side before he leaned over, his lips brushing against her ear as he spoke. "I do not mind, I merely entertain myself in ways that you are unfamiliar with," he said, his breath running warm over her ear. "Either that or take another form that is able to sleep well," he murmured before he pulled away slightly.
Morpheus watched her reactions with a keen eye, hand running along her side in a soothing manner as he leaned over and kissed her temple, lips lingering for a moment.

Ro frowned up at him, eyes going cross-eyes as she tried to follow his face; she looked rather silly and child-like because of the funny look she made when keeping her eyes on his chin made her dizzy. The faint flush dusting her cheeks didn't help. "You're so touchy feely," she pointed out, sounding more amused then annoyed. "I can't remember the last time someone was so adamant about holding me. Hell, most immortals avoid touching me if they can help it; it's like they can smell something foul on me or something. Weird how you can't seem to stop, not that I'm complaining."
She yawned sleepily, returning her head to where it had been resting before, but did not go back to sleep; she may have been sleepy, but she wasn't tired. To hell with it, if she could shake him for a few hours tonight, she may as well go out and work. She'd been sleeping practically all afternoon.
