Morpheus made a noise against the base of her throat, where his mouth had moved. So the little thief was becoming bolder? He grinned before moving his mouth down to her collarbone, nipping at the skin there and carefully not leaving a mark if it would hurt her. That was the only downside, even if she wanted him to be rough or hurt her, he couldn't. It would tear his essence in two especially if she gave him an order.
He shrugged the thought off before dipping his head lower, his tongue snaking out of his mouth to wrap around a nipple, pulling it into his mouth and teasing it before he released it, switching to the other side and bringing his hand up to toy with the unattended breast. He released both and moved back up, capturing her mouth again in an explosive kiss while he grabbed her hands and pinned them behind her back. "Do not do that if you do not want to take this any farther," he growled the warning into her ear, nipping roughly at the shell.

She nodded once, that being the only thing she could do as the stars continued to sance before her eyes with each touch and each kiss. Every word she tried to speak was swallowed by new sensations and interrupted by gasps and moans as she arched into his touch for more, never once thinking about the consequences of their actions. It didn't matter what happened after this, she thought, as long as she could enjoy the now and the warmth of another person's body.
Her hands never strayed from where she had let them rest on his hips, but they didn't move to continue their path either; if he wanted her to touch him more, he would have to ask for it.

The djinn chuckled, coming back up to kiss her again, careful how far he was going to take it before he pulled back, nipping at her ear gently. He placed another gentle kiss on her swollen lips before sitting back, running the pad of his thumb across her lower lip before moving his hand up and smoothing her hair away from her face.
Morpheus sighed lightly, although the human would not hear it, and shook his head before he spoke. "You need to tell me how far you are willing to take this, little thief. I can do nothing to you that will bring you harm, despite how much you may want it," he said gently as he watched her.

His words brought her muddled mind out of it's haze almost immediately and she looked almost confused by what they were doing. What WERE they doing? It was plain as day, obviously, but what were they thinking by even going this far? Had she lost her chocolate covered mind? Surely there was something to explain why they were basically dry humping eachother after arguing like cats dogs for the better part of an hour.
Either way, Ro really couldn't find it in her to stop, and pressed a kiss to his forehead. "I don't really care either way," she said eventually. "Either do it now and get it out of our systems, or top and let it fester for who knows how long until neither of us can take it. You decide what you want."
It was a deliberate order this time, meant to make him pick whether he wanted to continue or stop.

His eyes narrowed at the brief flash of pain that went through him and he shook his head, closing the dark eyes that had been watching her while he went silent. He heard the order and had to obey, picking one or the other despite the two tugging directions.
One direction was he could tell she did want to go on and that was her will while the other was that this could hurt her and that could not happen. He was caught between two evils and he highly doubted that she realized it. Shaking his head, he ran a hand through his hair. "Then we will stop before someone gets hurt," he said, never alluding to which of them he was speaking about.

She took that to mean he wanted to stop and shrugged, removing herself from his lap so that she could search for her missing top. With her back to him, the long thin scar was finally visible. "Suit yourself," she said, never alluding to how much his decision effected her; on one hand she was relieved that he had enough respect for her to say no, but on the other she was slightly hurt that he didn't want her anymore. It was a mental struggle all her own, but she would be damned if he saw the emotions flickering through her eyes.
Ro made a triumphant noise in the back of her throat when she'd finally located the missing article of clothing, and the scar was hidden from view once more as she turned to face him while pulling it on.

The djinn kept his expression and body neutral as he watched her before turning to look out the window. He'd still have that pull in his essence, essentially weakening him just a tiny bit. Crow took this time to fly in, as if to ask if they were done.
The bird cocked its head to the side as he looked at the djinn, as if sensing the struggled going in before turning back to Ro. He cawed once, as if clearing his throat. "You made him make a choice, didn't you?" he asked her.
Morpheus glared at the bird before changing his form to a falcon and taking off out the window, a blur to anyone who saw him. Crow just shook his head, hopping about on the bed trying to find balance before settling on moving to the floor, tilting his head up so he could watch the girl.

"Only because he wouldn't have otherwise," she told the bird once he shirt was over her head and covering her breasts. "Not everything is going to hurt me, you know. I may be human, but I've lived through hell. I don't need to be coddled." The entire time she was speaking she never once met the wise gaze of the fanged crow, as if sensing she had done something drastically wrong and refused to be caught looking guilty. The gesture just made her look all the more guilty, however. "I take the order back if it makes him feel better," she said eventually, collapsing onto the bed with a rush of air. "Or me. Whichever. I just don't seem to like it when he's mad at me."

The bird gave her a narrowed gaze before he shook his head. "Ro, you need to listen to me. It's not about his emotional state, it's about his physical state. You forced him to do something that is weakening him. He likes you, Ro. He actually does and it is not something I have seen since Jarlaxle. He may even hold you above the wizard. This is not a good thing for him since it conflicts him with the terms of being in service to you.
You may not like it, but his life is not his own, he cannot be forced to make decisions that he has to consider his own wants and desires along with yours. He cannot hurt you in anyway, physically or emotionally and from what I can tell, it is currently the latter. If he hurts you or lets you get hurt, it pulls at his essence, constantly weakening him," here the bird paused, tilting his head to one side as he hopped up onto the girl's knee.
"He isn't mad at you, he just needs to get away and clear his mind and head, and push back the taste of freedom he's had since Jarlaxle. He let himself get carried away and now he's paying the price for it, so do not be upset with him but do not ask him to make a decision where he has to consider his own wants, desires, and needs and yours. He will always do what he thinks will be the best for you, trying not to hurt you, girl," Crow finished as he stretched his head up, pecking her nose gently with his beak as if to drive his point home.

Ro glared at him from where she lay, rubbing at her nose. "All these rules suck major ass if you ask me," she said eventually, sitting up on her elbows so that she could make proper eye contact with the bird. "And so does your friend. If he wasn't going to do anything more then grope me and make out, then he shouldn't even thought about it in the first place. I don't care what happens to me, I can handle it, but when he starts acting like I should be treated with kit gloves, then I get mad."
She reached out to tap his beak lightly in retaliation, mindful to pull back quickly in case he decided to nip at her fingers with those razor sharp fangs of his. "And it's no wonder I'm hurt when the one time I wanna sleep with someone because I want to, the guy up and leaves 'cause he thinks it'll hurt," she sighed, blowing a loose strand of hair out of her face. "Of course it'll hurt, but I'm not some stupid virgin; you can have sex without kissing someone you know."
That last statement alluded to some of the misadventures she'd had already, even though her face didn't. It was common practice in the Black Market to give up your body if you couldn't pay for something with cash, and even though she'd always made sure she had enough when making her weekly excursions to the Underdark, that didn't mean the sellers were always interested in money. It was why she thought so poorly of men.
"But at least he knows how it feels to be torn between several different emotions at once now," she said at last, arriving finally at her true point. "His knowledge of human emotion is juvenile at best, and despite what you may think, the order will be good for him. It's not the weakening of his essence that has me worried so much as the weakening of his heart, now that he knows he has one."

Crow shook his head, fully agreeing with her. "But you have to remember, he's a djinn. They are supposed to hate humans and not love them. And he's torn between several things," the bird chuckled, a rusty sound coming from a throat not used much.
"He'll come back and probably sort things out then, but if he can't read you, Ro, he'll have to guess and it may piss you off. It's much better if you give him direct orders," the bird said, tilting his head to the side as he watched a falcon glide back in and tilt its head to the side, watching them.
The bird let out one shriek, telling Crow that the djinn had heard the entire conversation and was not happy about it in the least that his friend was siding with the human and spilling what the djinn was telling him.

The human slid the falcon a knowing look before speaking again. "I'd rather not give him any orders at all, but some things just can't be helped. Especially when he tries to play the 'you're my master, so i can't do this' card; that'll make mad just as easily as his stupid assumptions. She twisted so that she facing falcon, smiling sweetly. "When you 'assume', you end up making an ass out of you and me," she told him brightly. "Did you enjoy your little pity party? I hope so, because I think it's time we discuss a few things."
She was clearly unamused, and to refuse now meant the loss of some sort of limb, though her eyes didn't reveal which one.

The falcon turned it's head to the side, deciding he was going to preen his feathers and did so, turning his back to the human, clearly indicating he was unhappy with the situation as it stood. He fluffed his feathers and shook his head, using his beak to preen the feathers of his wings, looking for all the world as if he were a normal bird.
He was listening, mostly because he didn't have much of a choice, but he'd do it in the form of his choosing for the time being before he decided he was tired of the bird form and chose a black housecat instead, curling up on the window sill with his back still firmly to Ro as his tail twitched and he basked in the rays of the setting sun.

Ro scowled at his back before shooing Crow to the side so that she could flip over onto her stomach and look at him thoughtfully. Her chin rested on her arms in front of her as she thought over what she wanted to say. "I'm not mad, just so you know," she began eventually, still watching him intently. "Mildly irritated, yes, since you're going to be a child about this, but not mad." She paused as if waiting for him to add his two cents, but wasn't holding her breath for it and charged onward. "Although if you keep making decisions based on what's good for me and not for you, I will be. I may as well set you free if that's what it takes to knock some sense into you."
She took a moment to take a breath before continuing. "Although either way I am in some sort of danger, because on the one hand I'm the only thing keeping you from getting summoned again, and on the other I'm one of the very few people who knows your real name. Screwed every which way to sunday, if you pardon the pun."

The djinn stiffened his back, stretching his paws out in front of him and yawning, exposing cat like teeth before hopping down off the window sill and purposely landing on the girl's head before promptly walking down her back and pausing, deciding that was an appropriate place to curl up on.
He listened to her words and weighed them, deciding that he was really too lazy to bother speaking and looked at the bird, sending him a message.
Crow shook his head, amused at what was going on and then cracked a grin, flapping his wings at the djinn, as if to get him to speak. The djinn hissed at him, spitting like the cat Ro had imitated earlier before hopping off the thief and heading off down to the end of the bed where he curled up.
He had nothing to say at the moment, instead choosing to let the thief speak her mind before he went ahead and spoke. When he did, it was in a low voice, a strange sound coming from a cat's throat.
"If you bothered to listen to anything we've told you, you would understand that I cannot do anything that will be of harm to you and everything I do must be for my master's betterment," he said patiently, as if he were explaining this to a child. "And I rather like you, so I wouldn't be coming after you to kill you unless you posed a serious threat to me. So you are safe on that account. However, if you want to be screwed every which way to Sunday, I can make that happen easily," he said. As he said the last part, he was back in his human form, fully clothed with no skin showing except for his hands, feet and head.

She continued to glare at him, shifting so that she was sitting cross-legged across from him. "If I wanted betterment, I'd ask for you to remove all these scars," she said, indicating a rather nasty one along the underside of her wrist. "Morph, I like you so I'll give it to you straight: don't worry so much about me and worry more about yourself. If there's something you want from me, go ahead and ask and I'll do my best to comply, but please don't think that you're doing right by me by denying yourself whatever. If there's one thing I hate more then jerkasses, it's martyrs."
She'd taken his hand during her little speech to illustrate her point and had threaded her fingers through his, locking them together. "You can keep yourself tied to me for as long as you want, but the moment you want your freedom, I'll give it to you. Last thing I want is for you to resent me for keeping you where you don't want to be.

The djinn eyed her coolly, not believing her words since he had heard them so many times before. He blinked when she threaded their hands together, dark eyes watching everything as if through a filter as his mind wrapped around her words and moved, figuring several different outcomes as she spoke, always two steps ahead of what it was now.
"Then if you hate martyrs so much, you will hate most every race that ends up in servitude to another race," he said quietly, still not meeting her eyes, focusing instead on their joined hands. He may have been over 40,000 years old, but he did not really ever bother to learn about human emotions.

That was a jab at her, and she knew it. "Then I guess I hate my own race," she said with a shake of her head, smoothing away the hair from his face and making her look at her. "I hate the races that subjugate others, you fool. Don't put words in my mouth when I'm trying to get you to use that brain of your's, would you? As angry as you make me, I don't think I could ever hate you. Ever."
She brought their intwined hands up so that she could kiss each of his knuckles, blue eyes boring into his and daring him to look away. Ro knew he was emotionally constipated, so she had to take things slow if she was going to get him to understand.

Morpheus made a noise in the back of his sound that could have either been an agreement or disagreement, it was hard to tell, but he didn't pull away from Ro.
He sat there for a long moment, frozen as if the world were moving around him and he would stay that way forever, watching her with unreadable eyes before he snaked out an arm and drew her to him in a hug, settling her in his lap. This was different from earlier, there was nothing behind it except the mere acceptance of what she was saying. He rested his chin on top of her head as he held here there.

Ro grinned against his shoulder, counting this as a small victory over his stubbornness, her arms snaking around his waist to return the embrace. The look she sent Crow over his shoulder showed how happy she was that she had actually managed to get through his thick skull; there was hope yet. "Glad you see it my way," she murmured against his neck, trying to look up at him and failing because of the firm grip he had on her. "Maybe we should focus on teaching you to understand what other people are feeling, yeah? Then we can worry about you treating me like a kid."
