Morph let out a soft meow, not really feeling like speaking now, instead pretending he was a cat right now. He still gave Crow a glare and the bird seemed to shrug before turning and preening his feathers as he hopped on the table.
The djinn gently butted his head against Ro's hand, silently telling her he wasn't all that mad at her. He'd have to think about the 'friends' proposal a bit, but that was his nature and the girl would either accept that or not.
Deciding he wanted a bit more of a nap, he made himself comfortable on Ro's lap and promptly fell asleep. Or seemed to at least.

Well, it was as close to an answer as she was going to get. After sending Crow a look that begged he help her, she shrugged and leaned back against the headboard, stroking the djinn's head idly. The fur was soft...soft like something left behind in her long forgotten past.
Before she'd even thought about probing that memory any further, all the exaushtion caught up with her, and she sagged against the pillows in a dreamless sleep. Guess she'd worry about it and her new, djinn sized problems later. Maybe when she wasn't so worn out from using what little majik she posessed, being angry, and crying. Stupid Morpheus, she hadn't cried since she'd been kicked out of the circus...

The cat part of him purred now that she was asleep and he managed to wriggle himself out of her lap before crossing over and hopping up on the table, fixing the bird with an impatient look as the two of them seemed to have a long conversation.
Before long, Morpheus hissed, arching his back and having the fur stand up while Crow spread his wings and bared his teeth, the two old friends reaching a solid disagreement. This was a common thing for them as they often did this in animal forms with each other as they disagreed on certain points. Few would actually know what the disagreement was about until one of the two spoke or told.
The djinn seemed satisfied to swat at him with a paw before hopping off the table and taking up residence in one of the chairs after he regained his human appearance.

The flair of magic jerked her awake enough to sit up and give the now human formed djinn a glare. "You should really pick a form and keep to it," she drawled, trying to phrase the sentence so that it wasn't an order. She wouldn't know until he actually picked one or not, but she hoped in the back of her sleep fogged mind that she'd been successful. "Your magic's too powerful for even me not too ignore when you transform, you know."
The glare she was giving him had been watered down to a pout by fatigue as she looked at him, brows raised as if asking what he'd been doing while she was out, and it better be good.

He smiled when she managed successfully to not give him an order. 'Should' was just a suggestion for them, the did not have to follow it. "I am quite content in this form but I will tone it down since you are sensitive," he said as his eyes flashed once and there was no longer the pull of magick in the air around him. He was used to being around normal humans at the moment and they would not have noticed his aura, but apparently the little thief had.
At this point, with what he had done she wouldn't notice if it wasn't too dramatic of a shift, or if he went down in size. It also made him harder to find now that he was shielding his energy. "Go back to sleep, nothing will happen to you."

"Unless you let it," she replied dryly, rubbing her eyes with heel of her hand as she gave him a skeptic look. Sure, he could boast about keep her safe from harm all he wanted, but what it really came down to was if it'd be easier to have someone else kill her and her knowledge of his name instead of doing it himself or waiting for her to die. He'd saved her once, but that'd been before she'd basically been his master. "I shouldn't sleep so much during the day anyways. I don't have a job tonight, so if I keep sleeping I'll juts be up all night with nothing to do."

The djinn chuckled, a darkly wicked sound that would make the girl in front of him blush, matching her cape that she was so fond of. Crow merely shook his head, knowing the poor girl was about to get a taste of Morpheus' humor.
"Oh I can think of several things you can do, and I promise you that you will not have the energy to stay up the whole night," he said, a promise of seduction in his tone, if only to get a rise out of the girl.
His shirt had draped open, exposing the perfectly sculpted body he was so fond of using and whether by accident or on purpose left someone up to interpretation.

And indeed her cheeks did flush red, but not with the intensity he'd expected; she sort of had seen it coming as soon as the words were out of her mouth. Her eyes drifted towards his exposed chest despite her feelings on the matter. "I'll just bet you were some kind of player before you met me and decided I'd be fun to tease," she said once she'd yanked her eyes up and glued them to his face; the red on her face had intensified slightly with embarassment after realizing she'd been staring. "And could you please stop looking at me like that? It's creepy."

He laughed then, tossing his head back as the sound escaped it. It was an entirely different sound from him, one that was unadulterated, although if you knew the djinn, or saw him, you couldn't help but wonder what he could do with when you saw him. He had a body built for sin and a smile that promised as much.
He finally brought his head back up, focusing on her again. "As you wish, little thief. But just remember the offer is always there if you need it," he said, his voice tempting her just a bit.
Crow merely shook his head, knowing the girl was asking for it with the djinn, Morpheus would never force someone, people came to him willingly. He sighed and sent the djinn a glare to which the djinn just grinned even wider. "So, my thief, do not look if you don't want me to call you on it," he said as he stood and stretched, deliberately putting his body on display for her although she would not be able to tell.

This time she couldn't tear her gaze away and she cursed herself under her breath for it once he'd stopped being an exibitionist. Bad Ro, bad! You don't do boys, because they'll quite literally screw you over if you give them an inch, her mind scolded, but her heart kept drowning it out with an insistant THUMP, THUMP! She'd have kicked him out if it weren't for the fact that she was trying to be nice and not use his name unnecesarily. Although what might happened if she used it make him leave was an intriguing thought....
The mischief that passed over her face could have been mistaken for anything, but whatever you thought it was, it was undoubtedly NOT GOOD. She was up to something.

The djinn arched an eyebrow, recognizing the look she had and shrugging. It was one he had seen countless times before and it hardly bothered him to see it on her face now. "I will take my leave of you, so that you do not become enamored with my presence," he continued as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Crow merely cawed and flew to the window, looking as if he were going to escape before the fireworks blew up. Looking at the streets below, he flew off, perching on the roof of the building opposite from the Inn.
Morpheus shrugged and swept into a light bow. "Rest well, little thief," he said before his presence vanished in a 'pop' sound and a puff of smoke.
Of course she could call him back at anytime but she should be wary of the risks of doing so. One never knew what form the djinn would take.

She scowled at the place he had been standing mere seconds ago, but then the mischievous grin was back. Time to see if all this talk about names was really as potent as they claimed it was...
"Morpheus," she said, testing the name in her mouth; she'd been calling him Jarlaxle for so long it left a rather odd taste in her mouth. Or maybe it was because the name had so much power behind it, where as her's did not. The power of names just pissed her off sometimes..."Come back HERE," she finished, illustrating her point by pointing directly to where she was sitting; oh the horrors this particular order would create.

The djinn felt the summons and grinned. It was an evil grin, especially as he let the smoke filter in the room as he decided on his form. Oh yes, this would do especially well. And he appeared, as if on command, except he was naked.
Completely and totally naked and dripping wet as if he were fresh out of the river or a bath.
He followed her commands well, except there was one minor thing she forgot about. She had to be explicit and leave no way out for him otherwise he'd twist it to fit his needs as he did now, wet hair sliding down across his face as he appeared, straddling her lap.
"I was in the middle of a shower, what did you want?" he asked as if the whole thing was not out of the ordinary.

She fell back onto the bed with a silent scream, eyes wide and face the color of boiled lobster; she obviously hadn't taken into account that he would get back at her for summoning him so soon after his departure. "OH HOLY SHIT!" she screamed eventually after finding her voice again. Her hands hung useless above her head, afraid to touch him anywhere in case she touched something she didn't want to. Eventually she got up the courage to push at his chest; damn the man was built. No wonder he was so cocky all the time. "Forget I said anything," she yelped, pushing weakly at him so that she could at least sit up properly. Her face just kept getting redder and redder, and soon it was as crimson as her tattered cloak. "I'll never do it again, I swear!"

He sent her an annoyed look as he slapped a hand over her mouth, effectively halting her screaming. He flipped his hair back, instantly magicking a pair of pants onto him while the rest of him was still wet, he had a few drops fall from his hair and trail down his chest as a sort of tempting invitation.
"You should really, really work on your word choices," he said blandly as he got off her. "Or you can just get used to being around men," he said bluntly as he looked her over. "You do have a wonderful figure and you're actually pretty. When you're not looking like a tomato, that is."

She glared at him, feeling the heat in her face dull slightly at the half-insult as she summoned a tiny spark and flung it at him. It sputtered and died before it had the chance to reach him. "Men suck major ass Morph, so I make sure I don't let any near me if I can help it," she explained as she used a sheet to wipe off any residual water from her skin courtesy of his dramatic entrance. "Of course now I'm stuck with one, so I guess you're right about me getting used to you. Since you'll probably be showing up naked alot from now on."
The thought did not escape her over active imagination, and the image of him sitting on top of her brought back some of the red that was already disappearing. Damn her hermit-like ways; if she didn't prefer to be alone so much, she'd be used to naked men by now. "And it's kind of hard to watch my words when you scare the crap out of me like that," she said, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.

"Well, I wasn't around, so you had time to think of your words. And you should attempt to adjust and not be so nun like. You act as if I'm going to bite you, which I can't because that would inflict pain upon you and that I cannot allow, same as protecting you from all outside harm. Nor can I hire someone to inflict pain upon you because I would have to thwart them and that would be pointless," he explained patiently as he looked at her.
"Would you rather I show up in a female form? I technically have no sex, seeing as I am a djinn."

The glare turned into a full on scowl, but the thought of him appearing in female form was kind of amusing. So amusing that the corners of her mouth quirked up slightly before promptly plummeting back down. "You realize that that just makes you sound even more suspicious then you already are, right?" she asked, deciding not to comment on the nun remark in case that sparked another arguement and she somehow ended up in bed with him as punishment.
....oh god, she was beginning to think like he was!
Shit, gotta change the subject before he influenced her poor mind any more then he already had. "You know some people actually LIKE getting bit, right?" she attempted to ask casually before realizing that it wasn't different at all.

Morpheus chuckled, deciding to drop the subject before she got too flustered and ordered him to do something stupid. He shook his hand and waved it away, as if he were done with the subject. "Did you actually have some task you required of me or were you just testing out your newfound power?" he asked with a bored tone as he rose off the bed and leaned against the far wall.
Morpheus leveled a gaze at her, eying her and watching her movements, his dark eyes intent but with unknown emotions flickering through them. Unknown to the humans at least.

"I really was just curious," she replied guiltily, eyes glued to the mattress in front of her in the universal sign that said, 'yeah, I know I was bad. Sorry.' "Sorry if I pulled you away from something important. I've never really known anyone who would come running to see me if I called there name. Being a sort of nomad does that to a girl."
As did utter loneliness, but he didn't really need to know that. Ro had been living on her own long enough to get used to it, and she didn't exactly need him coming in and shattering her perfect solitude.
