Asher smiled lightly as she nuzzled in, almost as if she were using him as a blanket rather than the actual blanket. She was happy with him, that much was certain and she wouldn't mind if he stayed around her, especially since she liked being around him and he seemed to be rather stable in the world, despite what he may have thought.
She let one hand come up, tracing idle patterns over his chest, fingers trailing in feather light touches as she thought some more about their situation and what that meant for things. Such as how did he see her? What exactly was she to him and what all did he want from her? She blinked a few times and shook her head, a slight smile on her lips. Perhaps that was a problem, she over thought things too much.
The tiny islander continued to lay there, completely relaxed and comfortable with him. She felt so calm and was able to relax with him because she trusted him, Asher decided. She pretty much trusted him completely, or at least enough to actually toy with the idea of agreeing to what he wanted. For her, trust was a big issue, as well as being abandoned. If she decided that she was going to stay with someone, then they had to make the same decision. It was part of the reason she had stayed alone, no one ever wanted to be with her for long and they always left her.
She frowned slightly at her thoughts before shaking them away, leaning forward slightly to place a kiss on his collarbone, nuzzling his neck as well before she moved back slightly, giving him a bit of space. It was her way of seeing if he really did want her around, waiting to see if he pulled her tightly to him and held her there. After all, actions spoke louder than words.
As she lay there with him, her mind began to wander and she became curious about his past, why he seemed to hate his house so much, despite bringing her here. She decided that it would not be good to ask, instead she would let him tell her if he ever wanted her to know. She wouldn't pry about him, instead she would let him tell her when and if he wanted her to know, holding back her curiosity.
She shivered again, a chill creeping down her spine from the cold, it wasn't her fault she got cold easily, especially after having spent most of her life in the islands, where it was always warm. Ash reached up and toyed with a lock of hair falling down around her, wondering if she should cut it. It was already at her waist, any longer would be a hindrance, but she also didn't mind it long as well, it meant more for her to hide behind as she often did. Which lead her to her next thoughts, about why he thought she was beautiful.
She sighed lightly, shaking that off as she ran her fingers through the ends of her hair, getting the knots out before blinking violet eyes and tilting her head back to look up at the daemon, curiously taking in his features. She seemed to have a question before shaking it off and ducking her head back down, a slight smile on her lips.

Alehkar couldn’t help but grin to himself as she nuzzled into him and getting comfy. She was obviously much more relaxed now, which helped him ease gently into the couch. He couldn’t help think over what had happened within the past few hours since awaking. Everything she had said to him still lingering in his mind, causing his eyes to look down there. She always had so much on her mind, and she hid it so well with her charming smile. She knew how to manipulate others to not seeing too far into her expressions or mumblings. Tonight was the first night he actually realized perhaps she did have some emotion for him.
After all it was not as though she spoke all that frequently about such things, and she kept herself so well hidden he was correct when he said she was like a puzzle. The Daemon’s thoughts were interrupted as she attempted to pull away from him slightly. His eyes having slipped shut at the soothing feeling of her hands over his chest and her nuzzling. They now opened as he looked over at her with confusion, at first thinking she was upset again. But when he saw her face she did not have any anger or hurt on her face, so his arm remained around her and just pulled her against his chest again. Holding her with firmness against his body so she could not weasel away from him again.
His lips brushed against her forehead again before he rested his head back slightly. He wanted to make all her negative thoughts disappear, and wanted her past to change all the same. But that would not happen, so he would have to find a way to make her understand just how he saw her. Whether she refused at first or not, it did not matter. His eyes opened and stared at her just in time to catch the questioning look before it disappeared and he tilted his head to the side. “What is it?” he asked in response to her look. His body shifted slightly so he could look at her better.

Asher shook her head, resting her head back down as she became comfortable once more. "Nothing," she said with a soft smile as she tilted her head back slightly to look at him through a thin veil of her hair. "Nothing at all," she said.
It was rather odd that she could have been so upset with him a moment before and a few words and gestures from him had her calmed down and relaxing against him. Maybe there was something else for that, she wasn't sure, but she didn't want to search her sould at the moment for it.

Alehkar’s eyes watched her as she responded to his question, deciding to drop it completely as she would tell him if she wanted to. The Daemon figured it was nothing important, or just a fleeting thought so he would not pry more then the simple questions. He learned a lot about the tiny islander and he did not want to push it, or her, any further. She had already been drained, and he could tell she was mostly relaxed now so he did not want to do anything to disturb it. He loved her smile, the way it sparkled in her eyes, but when she was upset. The darkness was something that was overwhelming, he never wanted to see her like that again if possible. Which it probably wasn’t, but he would try his hardest to keep her smiling over frowning.
His arms tightened around her to bring her close, pulling her up a bit so he could put his face on her neck and nuzzle against it. The lightest of kisses brushing down her neck before he pulled his head back and set it back against the arm of the couch. Eyes glancing down at her with the smallest of smiles on his lips before he pressed a kiss with a feather light touch, on her lips. Eyes slipping shut for a moment as savored the feeling of her lips before he pulled away and laid his head back again. His head was titled slightly to the side so if he wanted to he could look down at her easily, but for then let his eyes slip shut. His free hand moving along the small of her back and the curve of her hip, finger tips making small patterns absent mindedly. His other arm moved to grab the blanket that had fallen slightly onto the floor from when he picked her up, and pulled it over their frames more to help stop her from shivering.
It had been so long since he even spoke to someone, it was quite amusing that the first person he spoke with was Asher. Sure he had gone into the bar before, but he always sat in the corner or at the bar. Drank and sat and did not talk to anyone except the lightest of conversations with the lady that served him. Despite if she found him rude or not, she was always very respectful and nice. Alehkar never understood why, which made sense since he never looked at her to see her overly flirty smile or her extra wiggle to the hips. The Daemon rarely noticed things like that with women, not really caring or finding it rather odd that they would do that. The only person he found rather interesting was his fourth time going there and he’d seen Asher, and of course she was in trouble and he could not help but want to help her.
But it was not her flirty grin or the way she walked, even though he did notice those things about her, it was that smile he would never get over. And that light that seemed to come off her when she was amused or happy. Alehkar’s lips broke out in a smile as he sat up a bit, poking her in the side at the though before looking down at her. Eyes sparkling as he attempted to study her face. At the very least he would never let Asher push him completely away. Although that would be sort of difficult to show her, especially when she was so convincing on negative things. And he would convince her that she was beautiful, not convince no, show her how beautiful she was. The thought made his eyes sparkle with a new found excitement as he looked at her. Leaning and pressing his lips to her cheek near where the tears fell down, by the corner of her eye.
She must have had a hard life, just from what he knew he knew it was a tough life. He wished he could protect her from it, even though he knew that thought was ridiculous. One cannot protect someone from things that have happened to them. The last time he felt like he wanted to protect someone from everything he had failed miserably. She had been taken by demon treachery and he had not even known it until years later. After cursing her name and swearing to not trust another woman or being fully again. The latter thought caused his chest to tighten slightly as something of worry flashed in his eyes, although he pushed the expression away rather quickly. He did not want Asher to see and comment on it, and he did not want to get into his past with her. He knew she was probably curious about it, but it was not something he could so freely talk about.
He had promised to never trust again, yet he trusted Asher and in the long run, it did not take long for him to have fallen in and trust her completely. He wondered why it was so, but decided to not get into that too much. He did not want to think about the why’s or hows, he did not want to indulge in his past just as he wished that Asher would not get lost in her own thoughts and past. What was he going to do with her. What did he want from her. What did she want from him. All those questions were pushed away into the back of his mind. Except one. Why did he bring her to his home when he could have easily brought her to her own? He did not treasure his home, nor build it or have much positive emotions towards it unlike how she felt about her own shelter. It was just a place where he could hole up and get away from the world without being bothered, as everyone in Abourno knew not to come to his door knocking.
After all most of the old generation thought it was his fault his entire family was murdered because he fell for someone he should not have and risked their lives. Yeah. He could definitely see that. The thought caused anger to flash in his mind before he leaned and pressed a kiss against her temple again. The action distracting his thoughts only momentarily. Perhaps he wanted her here, as a positive energy. His eyes looked to the floor where they had been laying, where she had layed with just a blanket to cover her bare frame. Then he looked to her in his arms before a big grin came to his lips and he tightened his hold on her into an almost bear like hug. The sudden action probably startling her a bit.
He had seen her home and now she had seen his. His was not as warm and welcoming as hers, it was old. It was dusty. It was pretty much bare besides a firepit, a couch and a blanket. There was of course his room which had been bare for some time, since his youngest siblings had been asleep in their bed in that room when the warriors had come and murdered them. Definitely not an image he liked to see when his eyes shut. The daemon suddenly wished he had not brought her here, or at least cleaned a bit before he had brought her there. But under the circumstances he was basically just kidnapping her and had not thought he would see her again after those few days at her household. Obviously by the look she had given him and the fiery response to his ‘ridiculous’ statement, she had not expected to see him after he had left her that morning either.
Alehkar shifted up and lifted his hand, his index finger and thumb moving to tilt her chin up so her face was lifted up to him. Eyes open as he studied her face before kissing her again softly, hand moving over across her jaw line to rub his chin over where the tears still stained her cheek. His hand dropped to curl a lock of her hair around his index finger. A slight smile on his lips as he pulled away before kissing the tip of her nose with a slight playful wink towards her. “I’m sorry I brought you to my place. It’s not very nice, it’s actually quite empty and hollow. I like your place much better…“ It was obvious he was not sorry he brought her with him, he was just sorry that his place was cold and extremely empty. He did not have the ability in Abourno to go out and hunt his own food with no worries, no. He had to actually go to the market.
His eyes left hers to roam around the room with a slight pout to it before looking back down at her. “But I am definitely glad I kidnapped you from those evil goons and made you cuddle with me.” There was a teasing note to his tone as his eyes returned to her own. His finger in her hair toying with it before dropping to rest on her hip bone. The slightest of curves to his lips were tilted up wards, eyes sparkling with amusement. Yes, he definitely was glad. “I was quite worried that I would not see you again.. And you are right. By the way..Going on an random adventure with barely any knowledge of anything is quite ridiculous.“ It was going back to her first comment when he first ran into her, when she was about to get tackled by three guys. At least he knew that his place was safe and no one would assume she would be here.
If he had never gone though he would not have met Asher. Which would be a negative, but then again if he had not met asher he would be completely lost somewhere in the middle of no where. When leaving her place, she had given him directions on where to go. Luckily because he would have screwed other wise. He really had not thought about any consequences on his actions. Money was not a problem for places to stay, but he did not bring many clothes with him. Actually just whatever was on his back, and he did not take into consideration that it was bare winter. The thoughts caused him to frown slightly in a sort of pout. “I agree an adventure in the middle of winter is probably not the best thing to do.. Was not really thought out too much.“ Definitely not.
Body shifting slightly he pressed his lips against her again before moving his arm slightly to give her room if she wanted it. He kept enough pressure to let her know he did not want her to move away, but he did not want to overwhelm her too much. He was still not sure how she felt, and he was pretty sure she was not completely sure either. “What would you like to do now Asher?“ It was a generic question where he would do anything she requested, although he was quite comfortable just laying with her on the couch.
The only slight discomfort was that his wings that were behind him. He was used to them, and it did not hurt just was slightly irritable. Just like an arm that is out of place and how you want to move it to fix and get comfortable. So all he did was shift slightly into her a bit more, so he moved onto his side a bit more. His head going to nuzzle into her neck, nipping at the skin slightly. One brow raising as he noted there was still a light mark on it from before, his hand raising and brushing his index finger over it lightly. The Daemon placed a kiss after moving his fingers as a light laugh escaped his lips and a quiet ’oops’ was mumbled against her skin. Apparently that one did not want to just disappear.

Asher was a bit startled by his actions, growing used to random signs of affection from the daemon, especially when he got caught up in his thoughts. She stayed right near him though, making a slight face when he toyed with her neck before laughing. "What are you doing?," she laughed. "Marking me up to show I'm yours or something?" she teased as the moved slightly, propping her head up on her arm.
She watched him with warm amethyst eyes, amused and slightly endeared by his antics as she shrugged. "I can't think of anything to do right now, except be warm and wonder how the hell you managed to live here," she said, griping for a moment before sticking her tongue out at the daemon.
She relaxed slightly, an easy smile on her lips as she watched him, open an comfortable with him, letting him see the side of her that she never showed anyone. Asher wasn't quite sure why, but around Alehkar she felt as though she didn't have to hide or anything, just be herself, which of course often made her want to hide even more. However, she was growing used to him and being around him, enjoying it immensely.
"Is there something you wanted to do?"

His eyes sparkled with an unknown emotion at her first statement, the slightest grin tilting his lips before shrugging as his eyes watched her. “Pretty much.” he mused, watching her reaction to his teasing words, although only half of it was teasing. Biting his lower lip he leaned his head down as his eyes slipped shut again. One brow raising at her next statement and chuckled softly, opening his one eye to look at her.
“I’m not really sure either.” He frowned before sitting up slightly, moving away from her carefully before placing a kiss on the tip of her nose again. The Daemon rose and stood up, keeping his eyes on her and studying her laying frame for a moment before stretching his arms out. His wings followed suit and stretched out wide, body rippling with the motion before his wings and arms both returned to his side. Turning he called over his shoulder ”I want to get you warm…” his voice had a bit of a laugh in it as he disappeared.
It did not take long for him to come back with more wood, plopping down in front of the fire pit with a slight thump. “And after I get you warm, Well I’m not really sure..” He shrugged his shoulders, his back to her as he tossed some sticks and wood into the pit. Brows furrowing as he poked at it aimlessly before starting the fire, attempting to get it going before once it did he spun where he sat to face her. Face brightening as he looked back at her.
“And it’s not that cold in here.. By the way…You just are not used to it..” He stuck his tongue back out at her, the action hiding a grin. He scooted over to the couch, still facing her as he sat in front of her.

Asher arched a lazy eyebrow, watching him with amusement. She didn't mind his first statement and had in fact smiled at it, not saying a word. She was a bit weird like that, in that she didn't always vocalize what she was feeling, rather it was in her actions and reactions.
"It's cold because I'm not used to it," she shot back, reaching one arm out of the blanket bundle she had made of herself to poke his nose in retaliation. "Of course, you could always join me back up here," she said, scooting back so she was laying against the back of the couch.
She watched him with amethyst eyes that seemed more child-like than anything else at the moment, wondering what he would do. She did look rather like a child, small and bundled in the blanket as it were. Asher sent him a smile as she settled back under the blanket, drawing it around her. "Are you gonna sit there and stare at me or get your ass up here? I'm cold," she teased.

Alehkar’s grin widened at her childish behavior, watching her with slight curiosity as he inched closer for her first statement about joining her. Amusement toying over his features as she continued to tease him before he laughed and shook his head. The Daemon stood up and lifted her blanket off her for a moment, just to bug her, before laying back on the couch. The blanket going around her frame as well as his. His arm wrapping slinging over her waist to rest a hand on her lower back, shifting closer to her so his body was closer to hers.
“We really are not going to get anything done today..” the words were said in a teasing tone, amusement obvious. Sometimes Asher just looked so damn innocent, so fragile, he could not help but describe it as cute. His lips connected with hers in a soft kiss, lingering only a moment before pulling away slightly to rest his head down. His blonde hair falling to shield over his eyes as he looked at her, slightest of smiles to his face. Eyes obviously studying her face for a moment before he let them slip shut. Hand moving to brush aimlessly along her lower back in a rhythmic motion.
”…But I do not mind..” Was murmured at last, a slight laugh being heard in his voice. He could literally do nothing with Asher and it would be the most entertaining thing to do for him. If she wished to get up and go do something, he doubted he would stop her. It was nice for her to not be go, go, go as she always was. To see her relaxed and smiling and just laying around with him. Although they should probably eat…….

Asher laughed lightly as she cuddled back into him, shaking her head slightly. "I can always change that," she replied with a laugh as she tilted her head to look up at him. She gave him a smile as she leaned up to return the kiss, brushing her lips against his for a moment in feather light touch.
She pulled back slightly, mostly to look at him before reaching a hand up and letting her fingers brush through his hair and move the blonde locks out of his face before pressing her lips against his firmer a second time. By the third time, she was not delicate about it, teasing him with her tongue before giving him a coy grin and settling back down.

He laughed lightly before she kissed him, by the third kiss he actually responded to her, arm tightening to bring her closer. But then she was pulling away and a pout was placed on his lips, eyes open and looking down at her face. Coy grin teasing her lips caused his own to tilt ever so slightly before a full face grin flashed. He random kisses had caught him slightly off guard, but he would not complain and instead just lean forwards and press his lips against hers again only momentarily before pulling away from her again. “You..” He paused and his lips found the curve of her neck, where he placed one kiss. “…Are beautiful.” It was said matter of factly before pulling his head up again and looked at her.

Asher rolled her eyes, biting on her lip to stop a smile from spreading as she shook her head, ducking forward to let her hair fall around her face and shield it. "And you are blind," she said, lifting her head up with a playful smile dancing around her lips.
She merely lifted a hand to trace along his jaw before she pressed her lips against his again, teasing him ever so slightly as she let her hand trace down his neck to his shoulder, skimming lightly there. She pulled away with the slightest of smiles on her lips as amethyst eyes studied him.

“Hmmm”, the sound rumbled slightly in his throat as he shook his head from side to side. Eyes shutting slightly as her hand traced his jaw and her lips met his again, only to have her pull away from him, the frown immediately crossing his features. Eyes opening fully to look at her, “Why you keep moving away from me?” Almost as if to prove a point his arm tugged her against him and his lips met hers. Teeth nipping her lip before his tongue brushing over her lips before completely pulling away from her. Sitting up slightly, with his arm moving ever so slightly from around her. “So, Hungry yet?” There was a teasing tone to his voice as both brows lifted up.

Asher laughed and shook her head, relaxing back into the couch and the blanket, giving him a slightly innocent look as she watched him, mild curiosity flinging across her features as she smiled slightly. "Are you?" she asked with a shrug.
"Or do you just want to go back to my island and are plotting to take me home, away from here?" she teased with a smile as she reached up one finger to poke his nose before tracing her fingers down his jawline and brushing over his neck and his shoulders again in a slow pattern, smiling at him. “No…And actually I would not have thought of that, if it was not for you. That is perhaps a brilliant idea..” He grinned at the thought before pressing his lips to hers and abruptly picking her up. Pressing his lips to hers, and as she remained in the blanket in his arms. He had to keep her warm somewhere. “Thankyou so much for the idea..” He whispered against her cheek before letting his lips brush her skin again. She really was very adoring, especially when she was in his arms. She always looked rather small then.

Asher's eyes widened as she froze for a moment before squirming around, shaking her head rapidly. "Don't you even fucking dare," she said, her voice going breathy with the thought of flying or even being up that high.
"I will refuse to speak to you for a week," she said, still trying to get out of his grasp, small body fighting to get out of the blanket and back onto the floor, where it was relatively safe and not high, nope, not high at all.

”I would not drop you..” he stated before he looked down at her, the tone of his voice a bit teasing. Frowning slightly as he paused in his walking, eyes lifting from her to look at the patio door where he had been heading. A look of thought on his face at her second comment, as if trying to debate on what to do, the entire time holding her in his arms. The thing is, she would make good on her threat, she was so stubborn that she would most likely do it. The Daemon frowned again to himself before sighing and letting go of her legs so they fell slowly to the floor before letting her upper half go.

Asher glared up at him, still bundled in the blanket as she stuck her tongue out at him. That was as close as she had ever come to being panicked, and whatever came out of her mouth was what she thought would work to stay firmly on the ground.
"I did walk, not fly my ass up here," she griped, her eyes still a bit wide and darting from him to the door. She knew he wouldn't drop her, but it was still quite an irrational, well maybe a bit rational, fear.

”That is only because you can’t m’dahling..” He nodded at his response, watching her eye the door and to him again, pure amusement dancing on his face. ”But..relax..” he leaned and pressed a kiss to her lips softly, “I will not take you flying unless I have too. Which I do not. I just do not usually like walking anywhere.. It is such a slow way of transportation..” There was a slight pout to the tone of his voice as he thought about walking far distances. “And it is also quite boring…” The last part was mumbled with another pout before he glanced to the door and back at her.

Asher stuck her tongue out him once more before promptly plopping on the floor in a pile of blanket and human. She pouted childishly for a moment before drawing the blanket over her head and hiding, acting like a small child. She was rather unhappy with the thought of flying anywhere for any reason.
"Then you can fly your ass and I'll walk or ride," she said, her voice a bit muffled from the blanket she had drawn over her head. She was definitely pouting at the moment, but she would never admit to it, oh no.

Alehkar watched her with pure amusement on his face before nodding slightly and turned and leaved her in the sitting position she was in. Walking through a corridor he looked into a cubby and grabbed clothing and tossing it over his frame to cover him a bit better. He came back moments later before smiling at her. “Then you shall ride and I shall fly.” He nodded, a slight grin on his lips as he looked down at her. The Daemon did not want to get stuck here in winter time, the human surely would not survive the cold. Definitely not. “How long do you suppose it would take?” If she rode he could fly freely, and still keep an eye on her and all the trouble she attracted.
