The tiny human had ended up curled into the daemon's chest, inside the circle of his arms for most of the night before migrating to the floor sometime before dawn. She was wrapped in her coat, being cold but not quite realizing it as she was still asleep.
Asher had stayed awake thinking for a while after the daemon had fallen asleep, finally falling asleep herself sometime in the middle of the night and now was shivering slightly with the cold. She really wasn't the most happy with cold, especially while asleep or waking up to cold. She moved slightly, burrowing deeper into her coat that she was wrapped in, but still shivering. |

Alehkar leaned over and looked down at her on the floor, a slight smile going over his face before it was interrupted by a yawn. The Daemon crawled off the couch, careful to not interrupt her laying form. Moving he grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and laid it over her before dropping back onto the couch. His hand moved over to block the light out of his eyes as he stretched his frame out, head tilting to stare at the unburning fire, just too lazy to actually get up and start it again.

Asher curled into the blanket, the sudden warmth very much appreciated as it slowly woke her up, blinking bright violet eyes as she rubbed the sleep away from them before sitting up and leaning against the couch, resting her head on her folded arms as she watched the daemon, the blanket half off her form.
She blinked a few times, lazily, before sending him a soft smile, a 'good morning' without the words since she wasn't feeling like speaking at the moment anyways. She merely pushed some hair out of her face and yawned, stretching slightly before settling back down. |

Alehkar gave her a lazy grin before nodding and rolling to stay on his side so he could face her better. The hand that rested on his face rubbing over it before propping the hand behind his head to hold him up slightly. He gave her a quizzical look, eyes watching her for a moment before speaking in a rough voice; “You do always end up on the floor.” Amusement danced through his half opened eyes as his grin turned to a smile, remembering her saying that the previous night to him. His hand reached down and he grabbed the half of the blanket she was not using and tugging it over him slightly.

Asher promptly stuck her tongue out at him before half-assed attempting to steal the blanket back and just ending up sprawled on the floor again, looking like she was about to fall asleep. "Then you are welcome to join me or move me," she said from her position as she wrapped herself in her jacket again.
She wasn't really a morning person either, especially when she'd been cold while asleep. It was just something that seemed to throw her off and made her want to cuddle even more with someone else. That was about as close as she would get to telling him she wanted to cuddle. |

Alehkar raised a brow slightly as he watched her curl into her jacket, his own body slipping off the couch to sit next to her. Laying down and wrapping his arm around her to pull her back to his chest. Head ducking under slightly to block the light out of his eyes. “I’m still tired.. Mm.. How did you sleep?” His question was muffled into the blanket before raising his head and leaning to press a kiss to the back of her neck, only to have his head buried again with a slight groan of discomfort.

Asher settled against him, relaxing in his arms with a slight yawn as she became sleepy again. "It was fine. I didn't fall asleep until after you did though, so I think we're fine now. Maybe I'll fall back asleep," she mumbled, already half way there, cuddling more into the daemon and the warmth that he presented.
Violet eyes blinked slowly as she felt herself falling asleep again, only hoping that the daemon would follow suit and they'd sleep again until they felt like they were well rested enough. |

“Asher…” He was nudging her slightly to try to get her up, amusement on his face. He had fallen asleep rather quickly and had awoken to find it was much, much later, and into the afternoon nearly. Why had he been so tired? Perhaps just drained of energy. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him before pressing a kiss to her shoulder hesitantly. Last thing he wanted was her to wake up punching or something, and he had a feeling her punch had some kick to it. He doubted she was used to waking up to getting nudged or hugged, and he did not even want to think about kissed. He was rather wide awake, which was an odd feeling to wake up too. He nuzzled his face into the nook of her neck gently.

Asher stirred slightly, her senses coming back to her slowly as she blinked a few times, a slight yawn coming to her lips as she woke up. This time, she wasn't as sleepy and was now just awake as she felt the daemon nuzzle her neck as he often did.
She smiled slightly, arching an eyebrow. "I'm awake, or mostly am in any case," she laughed, her voice a bit husky from sleep, but it worked for her, making her sound quite sexy until she woke up a bit more and her voice became clear again. |

Alehkar chuckled into her skin at her words, mumbling something under his breath as he let his free hand move to find her hand and tangle his fingers with hers. He didn’t know what was going through Asher’s head, and he wanted to know what she was thinking about last night after he had fallen asleep on her. He had gotten to know a small part of Asher last night, and it was all very relaxing conversation. Biting his lower lip slightly as he thought of what had happened before he brought her to his place, and the Daemon frowned into her neck.
“I hope you are not in trouble Asher…I am sorry..” His words were slightly muffled but he did not really care if she heard him or not. Alehkar shifted slightly to lift his head up, sitting up and pulling away from her ever so slightly. The loss of sudden body heat causing a shiver to come from him before he pulled the blanket more over him. “What were you up thinking about last night..?” He was curious, even if she didn’t want to answer he would understand.

Asher laughed and shook her head, rolling in the blanket some more before shrugging. "This, that and the other," she said with a light smile on her lips as she watched the daemon before stretching up, releasing his hand as she stretched her arms above her head, back arching slightly as she made a small noise in the back of her throat.
She finally relaxed again, running a hand through her hair. "I'm not in trouble, I have a week to get there anyways," she said as she watched him. "Besides, I told them that maybe I would do it, not a definite yes since this is my off season. It gives me time to think about it," she said. |

His eyes roamed the length of her body as she stretched her arms above her head, slowest smile spreading over his lips. The smile did not last long as she continued to speak, brows furrowing slightly but he turned his head slightly down. A thoughtful expression over his face as he contemplated her words. She had a week to get there so she didn’t even have to arrive there, which means she had a few days to think about going and getting into trouble. The thought made him shake his head before he stood up slightly and looked around his completely empty place.
“Hungry?” His word was mumbled slightly before he gave her a smile half heartedly. Actually.. He was not even sure if he had anything but bread. “Cause if you are.. I don’t think I can help..” He frowned to himself at the thought before falling so he sat on the couch. He wondered what the job was, what she had to do and maybe it was not all that dangerous after all. But he would not ask and doubted she would be able to tell him anyways. And he highly doubted it was not dangerous. Very highly. Damn, why couldn't she just have a job that was 'normal'. But he also knew that would never happen and it would not be Asher, never would be. Which is why he liked hanging around with her..

Asher laughed and shook her head, reaching up a finger to tap the daemon's nose. "Quit worrying," she scolded lightly, her smile reaching her eyes this time as she shook her head. "And no, I'm not hungry, otherwise I'd be in a worse mood," she said as she stuck her tongue out.
She rolled onto her other side, facing the daemon as she draped an arm over her hips, it's twin propping her head up as she watched him with curious violet eyes. "What, are you going to take and hide me away some wherewhere I can't get in trouble and there's only you around?" she teased. |

He scrunched his nose as she poked it before nodding his head at not worrying. Amusement danced in his eyes at her latter statement before the grin spread over his face to flash teeth at her. He slid down onto the ground to sit with his back against the couch and to be a bit closer to her. “I think I sort of already have..” He laughed half under his breath as he looked around the completely empty area where just her and him sat before looking back at her. Leaning to look down at her rather comfy form before shaking his head and leaning back again, a hand pushing through his hair. " Anyways.. I wouldn't be able to keep you here forever..Your bound to get into some sort of trouble.." He shrugged as his eyes studied the ceiling.

"Oh gee thanks for you confidence in me," she said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes sticking her tongue out before she rolled onto her other side, facing away from him as she pretended to be mad at him and lay back down, getting comfortable as she snuggled under the blanket some more, cold.
She couldn't stay mad at him for long at all since most of it was his personality and she really didn't want to go to a job in the winter, she rarely ever took one unless it was a high paying job that kept her somewhere warm. As to why she had been traveling, that was on her and in her own mind. She actually had been quite lonely and just needed to get out and the job had been the perfect excuse, just a small one that anyone could do really.
She shifted slightly, drawing the blanket tighter around her form as she blinked violet eyes and stared at the empty fireplace. |

He watched her turn away from him and frowned, not liking her putting her back to him so the Daemon leaned over and wrapped his arm around her waist before pulling her into his lap with out much trouble at all. “I’m sorry.. I did not mean it like that..” He was pouting slightly before he let his lips brush over hers. Her tiny form was easy to be all in his lap, and it made her look rather fragile and cute to him. But he would not call her cute, apparently women did not like being called cute.
Alehkar remembered when she called him ridiculous over going on an adventure and leaving his own home. Obviously his adventure failed as he ended up back home anyways, but then again he brought her with him. And she was an adventure in herself. Besides he had determined he would rather sit with her in a place he hated, then go and travel and see a million other people. Most people were the same, most places looked different but were the same. The only place he actually enjoyed being at was her place, because it was different, in every way.

Asher started a bit, surprised by his response and his actions before smiling and shaking her head, leaning back against his chest and dropping her head on his shoulder. "I know, I was playing around," she said softly, the laugh evident in her voice.
She watched him, violet eyes observing his face as his thoughts were spelled out for her since she was so experienced at reading people. She could tell he was not happy to be here but there was something different about it and she wasn't quite sure what it was or why it was that she was certain something was different. "What is it?" she asked softly, brushing her lips over the pulse in his neck. |

He was grinning as she settled into his lap, before his arms snaked around her waist to hold her against him. At placing a kiss over his pulse his eyes slipped shut, either to hide his gaze from her question or from the kiss. His fingers slipping under her long sleeved shirt to let his fingers dance over the skin on her lower back and hips absent mindedly. His response was a simple “Nothing” to her question, the smile on his lips slipping away fro the briefest of moments before returning as he opened his eyes to look down at her. "Did you want me to take you home at all eventually?Or were you going to figure out what you were going to do with that job..Or did you want to stay here for a while?" It was a curious question, not based on changing the topic away from him at all. It just happened to work out that way.

Asher was amused at his response, a smile spreading over her lips as she nipped at the spot she had previously kissed before kissing it again, mostly to soothe the area as she nuzzled his neck.
"I can find my own way home," she said, sounding rather like a petulant child. "What do you want to do, Alehkar?" she asked, tilting her head back enough to look at him and watch him with curious eyes, one eyebrow arched. "And don't tell me you don't know or it's nothing. That's bull and you know it," she said as she stuck her tongue out at him. |

"You cannot, it will take you forever to get home from here." he shook his head, there was no way he would let her just leave and go find her way home. That would not be very nice of him anyways. Both brows rose as she tilted her head back and he shrugged his shoulders at her statement. Leaning over her slightly to press his lips against hers softly. Teeth nipping against her lip lightly, tugging back before pressing another kiss. “Hmmm… I really do not know…and..” He grinned down at her, eyes sparkling as he added “Nothing.” Repeating back exactly what she had told him not too. His lips brushing over hers again before shrugging his left shoulder at his childish behavior.
