Ayvajin gave a displeased sigh as she sat up a bit. “You are always trying to get me to sleep. Why is that? I will get my rest. There is nothing that is going on tomorrow, so there is no rush to get up from sleep. I may need my rest, but does it mean nothing to you that I am willing to stay awake even after a long day of travel to talk to you?”
The necromancer gave another sigh as she looked away from the incubus to the bottom of her braid. She slowly started to undo her braid to let her hair hang loose.

"It takes far more energy for me to appear during the day, as I did to save you and it consumes even more to appear physically on this plane. It is why we often come in dreams, necromancer. It is less taxing and I must leave to take a feeding unless you plan to offer one," he said as he raised his eyebrows and looked at her, a knowing smile across his lips.
"However, you have made it more than clear that it will not happen, so I have to find someone else to feed off of or else I will be forced to take one from whoever I come upon next and that is not a pretty sight," he said.

The necromancer gave out a slow sigh as she looked back to Lucien. Her eyes surveyed the incubus for a moment. “If I allowed you to feed, as you call it, from me, I am more than positive these little meetings of ours would cease completely. So, I suppose, you should not expect me to give in to your cravings and desires.”
Ayvajin looked down as her fingers messed with the fabric of her dress. “I suppose you should go and take care of what you need to get done. I am unable to stop you from whatever you do.”

He chuckled, reaching down and tilting her face up as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, an amused smile on his lips. "You seem so certain of that fact, little necromancer. Do you think you know me that well and have figured me out? I see the wheels in your head spinning as you look at me, curious as to how I operate and what drives me, I am not blind nor foolish to this," he said with a kind smile.
"But you cannot help the fact I must feed anymore than I can help the fact you call the dead to you and speak to them. It is the way we are," he said with a smile. "But do not fret little necromancer, I will come back to you and bring you another story."

“I do not think you understand me fully, though, dear Lucien,” Ayvajin said gently, looking away from the incubus again. “You do confuse me, though.”
The necromancer moved away from the incubus, laying back against the pillows of her bed. she relaxed into the fur covers, her eyes looking to Lucien. “Come say good night to me, then, if you are to leave now. Perhaps you could help me get to sleep again and dream. That is what I really want to do. Dream.”
Ayvajin’s cold eyes watched Lucien. “Perhaps you will interrupt my dreaming once more. I think I would be fine with that.”

Lucien chuckled, shaking his head as he let the necromancer settle. "I do not perpetuate to know you and fully understand you since I have not invaded your dreams as of late. But hush now, and I will help you sleep although I may not be in them. There is no middle ground with this Ayvajin, you either want me in them or not," he said with a chuckle as he leaned over her and lay a gentle kiss on her lips, a spell of sleeping and dreams lay over her with the simple touch.
"Sleep well and dream of delight, necromancer," he said as his eyes glowed and he seemed to dissipate into the air, off to his feeding before he would look back in to see the necromancer, what her dreams were like and perhaps see her again before she awoke.

Ayvajin instantly fell asleep, drifting off into darkness. She seemed to wake soon afterward in her own dream world. This dream was quite unlike the other dream she had before Lucien had invaded it.
The necromancer appeared in a rather snug room. There was a fireplace to one side with a fire burning in it, a desk, several book shelves that were packed with books, armchairs, a rug, a lounge couch, and a door. There was no color to this room, though, but from the darkness around the room the time was night.
Ayvajin was sitting down upon the lounge couch. Upon her frame, there was a large well crafted, red dress. The necromancer’s upper body was held tight by a corset that was tied in the back by a black ribbon. The dress was embroidered by gems fashioned in a particular design over several parts of the red fabric. The skirts of the dress seemed to completely cover the area where Ayvajin was seated. Her hair was also done up in a different way. There were small braids throughout her hair. Her hair had also been somewhat tied back, but it seemed to have become loose from its ribbon.
The necromancer’s eyes were looking toward the door as if she were waiting for something or someone.

Lucien had long ago finished the feeding, following a thread to Ayvajin's dream. He observed for a long moment before instilling himself into the dream, deciding to follow the course that was already laid out. Weaving himself into the thread, he was instantly changed, dressed in a mostly black suit, court dress with red accents through out it.
He entered through the door that she was looking for and swept into a bow, a rakish grin on his lips. "Milady," he said as he straightened up, looking to her. "You were expecting me?" he asked, his voice light as he watched her movements.

Ayvajin gave a slow smile as she saw Lucien and nodded her head slightly. “I was expecting you,” she said gently, pulling her skirts closer to her. She gestured to the cushion beside her. “Come sit beside me, dear Lucien.”
The necromancer sat back against the couch, relaxing a bit. The room came straight out of her memories. Every little detail was exactly as she had remembered. Ayvajin had spent many days and nights within this room before she had really started traveling. The room had belonged to her teacher Rion, and the necromancer had spent the majority of her time studying within the walls of this particular room.

"As the lady wishes," he said with a chuckle, sitting beside her on the couch and looking around the room. It was not a setting he knew nor was he familiar with, but he accepted it just the same as he did with all dreams. However he was not going to change this one, it was a dream for them to talk in, not a dream he had to create.
"Why this room, necromancer? I can tell it holds special meaning for you but as to the exact meaning I cannot say," he sad as he looked at her, a smile across his lips.

She gave a slow sigh as she thought. “I spent a lot of time in this room in my earlier days. This is where I would study my magic.” She gestured to the book shelves along the walls. “I have read every single book upon those shelves at least twice through.”
Ayvajin paused for a moment to collect her thoughts. “Rion and I would spend several hours at a time in this room. He would teach me simple spells in here and a few potions. We would also talk about so many things. He was very close to my heart.”

Lucien nodded, a slight smile across his lips as he listened to the necromancer speak. "He was like a father or a close relative to you, someone you trusted implicitly," he said with understanding. "It is normal to want to be close in dreams to those we were in life," he said.
Reclining back on the couch, he became more comfortable, looking more in depth around the room, taking note of all the details, no matter how minute they may seem, it was important to the necromancer. "Then this is a room you are most comfortable in," he said with conviction.

Ayvajin nodded her head slightly. “I spent almost two hundred years with him. He had discovered my talents when I was very young and had taken me to Temarra to start my study of necromancy. After several years of being under his care, I thought I had found what love truly was, but I never said anything to him until towards the end.”
The necromancer glanced around the room. “This was the night he told me that he was going to give me his powers. The night that I tried to talk him out of it. This was also the night that I knew I could not love him, because he was my teacher, my father figure.”

Lucien nodded, deciding to remain silent for the time being as he observed the necromancer and let her speak. This was her time to talk, her time to share her secrets and to tell him without his prying into what the dreams would reveal. He unfortunately knew quite a lot of unrequited love and how it felt to love someone that you could never be with, it was the nature of Incubi.
He ran a gentle hand over her back, rubbing it in a soothing motion as he let her speak, careful of his actions since he was not trying to force her into an uncomfortable situation.

“I know why I fell for him. He was the only man who I spent a good portion of my time with. Sure, I had had callers back then, but I never paid any of them mind. I was always concentrating on my necromancy and Rion’s teachings.” She let out a slow sigh. “But I realized that Rion wanted to leave this world, and that I have to find someone else that I would truly love.”
Ayvajin let out a sigh, leaning back against the incubus’s hand. “I am sorry to pester you with all of this, Lucien.”

The Incubus smiled, shaking his head. "Do not worry about it, you can talk to me about whatever you please, little necromancer," he said with a smile. "That, I assume, is what you wanted your dream for," he said. "I do not mind listening to you talk, it gets rather tedious to be the only one who has anything to say," he chuckled as leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on her temple.
There was nothing behind the kiss, it was merely a comforting gesture as he did not like her being unhappy, or in the mood she was now.

She shook her head slightly. “But that is not completely why I wanted this particular dream,” she said, looking away from Lucien for a moment. Ayvajin pushed her fingers through her hair, causing several strands to fall in front of her face.
“You need to explain to me why you are constantly after me,” the necromancer said, looking back to the incubus. “Do not twist your words around. Just tell me straight. I am not the most entertaining creature out there. Nor am I the prettiest female you could find. So, why do you chase after me? It bothers me so to not know what your true reasons are, Lucien.”

"Now, now," he said with a patient smile on his lips as he sat back and regarded her, toying with the words in his head as he best thought how to answer them. If he really wanted, he could morph the dream or leave. "If it bothers you that much, then I guess I can give you an answer, although you may not like it," he said with a grin as he removed his hand from her back.
"Quite simply I like you and find you entertaining to me. It does not matter how much you think you are not, to me you are," he said bluntly.

“That is all you can say?” Ayvajin said with disbelief lingering upon her words. “You like me and find me entertaining. So, you stalk me throughout Yviex, popping in once in a while. I am just cheap entertainment for you.”
Turning away from the incubus, he necromancer set her forehead upon the palm of her hand. She let out a slow sigh. She did not know why this bothered her so much. It just did, and she could not explain it. She wanted more of a concrete answer, but she was figuring that she would never get the answer she really wanted.

Lucien sent her a calm look, a hand going under her chin as he turned her to face him. Giving her a soft smile, he leaned over and placed a chaste kiss on her lips before sitting back and standing. "Then necromancer, think on why you tolerate me being here when you could very well figure out how to keep me from coming around you," he said with a slight smile.
Giving her a slight bow, he turned as if he were leaving her dream, waiting to see her reaction to his departure. He could already tell she did not like his answer, he needed to know how she thought before he went any further.
