“Oh really?” Ayvajin said with an eyebrow raised. “Do you stake out territory and fight to keep it, too? Is that what you do in your free time? Or am I a part of your territory, and I do not know it?” She flashed a smile before shaking her head as she looked away from Lucien.
They neared the gates of the Sanctuary. The necromancer stepped forward and placed her hand upon the gate. There was a moment where nothing seemed to happen but after it came a loud click and the gates open on their own. She looked back at the incubus.
“Shall we?”

"You will have to find out, little necromancer," he said with a mysterious smile as they entered through the gates. He ran a hand through his hair as he looked around, following behind the necromancer like a shadow.
He slipped his hands into his pockets, folding his wings back so the disappeared and pulled his eyes from the other planes. He had the distinct feeling he was one of the only other magickal creatures on this territory and did not wish to broadcast quite what he was. Lucien supposed that it could not be helped among other things if he was to stay with the necromancer.

Ayvajin looked around the courtyard of the Sanctuary. She took of her bag, setting it down on the floor before taking off her fur coat. She was layered, wearing a long sleeved black shirt, black pants, and a pair of black leather boots.
“Nyrivex is in his chambers,” she said after a moment, looking to Lucien. “We are the only people here now. There might be more to come, but that will be a few days from now. Nyrivex will give us space for now, though. He knows the journey was hard, and he wants us to find some comfort in my room.”
The necromancer could easily talk to the ancient with very little effort now. She had gotten use to Nyrivex conversing silently to her.
“Come on, let us go up to my room for now.” She picked up her bag and held her coat in her other arm.

Lucien raised an eyebrow and followed the necromancer, taking in their surroundings in silence. "You necromancers are certainly an interesting lot," he quipped as he put his hands back in his pockets.
He had never really had much use for following the necromancers around or even bothering with them really. They tended to keep to themselves and he had had no reason to bother with them much before. However, he liked Ayvajin and was happy to follow her around as long as it didn't lead him to his doom. "So do you wish for me to stay the night or leave you once you are comfortable?" he asked.

The necromancer led him up the stairs of and off to the rooms. “You can stay the night if you would like. I thought that was the point anyways,” she said, glancing back to Lucien. “I do not mind if you stay. I would not complain. You are stalking me, anyways, and I am aware of it.”
Ayvajin gave a laugh as they reached one of the doors. She pushed it open before slipping into the room. She placed her bags upon the floor, looking around. The necromancer smiled, letting out a slow sigh. “Well, this is my room”
The room was rather simple. There was a bed in the middle, a fireplace, a few chairs, a couch, and a closet. There was also another door that led into a bathroom.

"As the lady commands," he said as he entered the room behind her, watching her movements before taking residence in a chair. He crossed one ankle over the other knee and rested his hands on his knees, watching her move about the room.
"Then what would you like me to do as some entertainment for you? Another story or do you have a story for me?" the King of the Incubi asked as he leaned back, becoming comfortable. His eyes glowed like dull embers from his seat in the darkening room. Lucien was not afraid to tell her stories from his past, a time before she was born.

“Hmm, well, I was thinking about taking a nice hot bath,” she told him. “Just to get a bit more relaxed. I will share any story with you that you may be interested in afterward, though. I just want to get a bit cleaned and hopefully smelling a lot better, too.”
Ayvajin sent him a smile before going through her bag and getting out some clothes. “Just make yourself comfortable. If you would like, you can start a fire in the fireplace. I will not take too long in the bath, though. So just sit tight.”
The necromancer gave one more smile to the incubus before disappearing into the bathroom.

"As the lady commands," he said with a smile as he waved her on to do her business. "I will stay out here this time," he said with a teasing grin as he watched her go off into the room.
Snapping his fingers, he sent a small flame into the fireplace, lighting up the wood in there and letting the fire come to life and warm the room. Tilting his head back, he took in his surroundings with a cautious eye as he observed where the necromancer stayed for periods of time.
He ran a hand through his hair as he changed what he was wearing with a wave of his hand, an open chest shirt and a pair of lighter pants, seeing as the room was warming up, hopefully comfortable for the necromancer.

Ayvajin made quick with her bath. She tended not to stay too long in her baths ever. There was no true point to lounge around in water unless there was swimming involved. The necromancer quickly washed herself and got out, drying herself off. She put on a light blue dress with opened shoulders and long sleeves. The top of the dress was somewhat like a corset but not as tight as many of the royal dresses were. The skirts were loose and fell down to the floor.
The necromancer finished braiding her hair once more before going back into the room. Her eyes flashed over her bedroom for a moment before she walked over and stood beside Lucien.
“I see you are making yourself quite at home,” she said, indicating his change of clothes. Ayvajin sent him a smile. “I hope my small room is comfortable enough for you.”

"It is more than enough, but since I will not be residing here, the only thing that matters is your comfort," he said as he watched her move about, keeping his thoughts veiled. Lucien was cloaked partly in shadow, so his eyes remained glowing as well as the lower half of his face, highlighting his mouth as he spoke.
"If there is anything that you desire, do not hesitate to call me, Ayvajin," he said with a wicked grin, his voice giving the words a whole new flavor than what was innocent for the words. "I will be glad to be of service."

“You just want me to ask for some sort of dark favor,” she said with an eyebrow raised. “You want nothing more to hear me tell you that I want to have you in bed or some sort of other fantasy of yours. I think you would enjoy that way too much if a humored you even a little bit.”
The necromancer sent a slightly teasing smile as she shook her head. “You would love for that, I know. You are an incubus; I expect nothing more than those desires from you. Not to mention you have already told me that you wanted nothing more than to have me in your bed. I am surprised you have not tried to pin me down and try to convince me.”
Ayvajin shook her head once more, laughing a bit as she stepped over and sat down upon the edge of her bed. “So, what do we do now? Share some stories and have a good laugh? Or where you looking for something else?”

"I cannot help what is in my nature as much as you can help what is in yours, necromancer. And I never said I wanted you solely in my bed, but it is a nice thought," he continued, acting as if he were speaking of the weather outside or the most mundane and boring topic one could think of.
"But yes, we can trade stories although most of mine will be from a time before you were even a thought in anyone's mind," he said with a grin as he folded his hands behind his head, leaning back in the chair to watch her.

“You never know. I could have been a thought, depending on who my parents were,” she said with a slight laugh, eyes glinting with humor. “But I suppose you could tell me stories. I do not mind either way. You should sit closer to me, though. Stop being so far away.”
The necromancer sat back further on the bed, crossing her legs at her ankles. She leaned back on her hands, eyes watching the incubus. Ayvajin was still trying to figure out this Lucien. “So, get up and come here. If you want me to tell you a story, give me a topic.”

The King of the Incubi grinned, getting up and sliding so he was sitting next to the necromancer, mindful of her personal space. Tapping a finger to his lips, he thought for a moment. "Do you have any stories you would like to hear, little Ayvajin?" he asked with a smile on his lips as dark eyes regarded her form.
"Or would you like for me to make something up. I do not mind sharing tales with you since much of this is far before your time and you will undoubtedly forget about an Incubus after a while if we do not visit you," he said with a light shrug. His people were flighty by nature, taking only pleasure in carnal desires and things that pleased them, however fleeting.

“Tell me a love story, deary, Lucien,” Ayvajin said with a slight laugh. “Does your kind have any love affairs? From what it seems by what you told me that you and the other incubi do not really fall in love. So enlighten me, dear Lucien. Do you have any love stories?”
The necromancer raised an eyebrow, giving the incubus a slight smile. She was rather curious still about the incubi.
“If you tell me a love story, I shall tell you one,” she said as she laid back on the bed, placing her arms behind her head.

Lucien chuckled darkly, shaking his head. "We do, but they almost always end in disaster. We have few happy endings because of our nature, we cannot keep going after one person or it will kill them. And the others want to be our only one, so we are often caught in love from afar," he said with a shrug.
"But there is one that I remember, from my youth. This was years ago, when I was just an infant really, barely even a hundred," he said with a shrug as his eyes focused on the wall in front of him. "There was an Incubus named Darius and his love was named Satyre. She was a Siren, so they knew no boundaries except what they felt for each other was pure."
He ran a hand through his hair, smiling softly at the remembrance of his teacher and the love he had with the siren. "Darius and Satyre met quite by accident, she was taken by men and imprisoned on land and he was in the city, searching for a feeding. He drifted through the dreams and hers called to him, searching for a savior. Rescue her he did, entranced by her dreams even as he came into them, forming the ocean that she so desperately craved.
He awoke her, materializing through the house and stealing the keys, ensuring the men would not wake until long after they were gone. Satyre in the meanwhile, had kept her beautiful voice quiet until she was freed, when at last she asked his name. She often told me that it was his voice that made her first fall in love with him, rather than the other way around.
Darius stole her from them, taking her back to her beloved ocean. Once there, it was she who stole a kiss from him before diving below the waves to return to her island. Darius could do nothing to stop her as dawn drew near and that night he vowed to find her again, to search the dream world until he came upon her again," he said, pausing here in the story.

Ayvajin had rolled over onto her side, facing the incubus. She propped her head up with her arm so she could watch Lucien as he told his story. With a curious glint, her cold blue eyes observed his movements and his facial expressions rather closely.
The necromancer was always interested in stories that came from another time that she could not relate to. The stories were always interesting and almost surreal in nature. She had listened to many stories that her teacher Rion had told her of when he had been young and what life was like in his time. These stories had always fascinated Ayvajin just like the stories that Lucien had to offer now.
“So, what happened?” Ayvajin questioned, left eyebrow slightly elevated. “Was it happily ever after or no?”

The incubus chuckled, shaking his head as he pushed some strands of hair out of his face, looking down to her. "Aren't you impatient?" he teased with a smirk. "Patience little necromancer," he said. "All in good time."
Lucien turned back to face away from her before continuing the story. "It took him several years but Darius finally found her when she fell asleep again. Sirens do not dream as we do nor as you do, they often do not share the dream world that everyone else does. When Darius found her thread again, he left immediately to follow her, appearing once more at her side.
It was a dream that she had repeatedly, one that would call the Incubi to her as she slept finally. Satyre had forced herself into sleep, sharing the dreams in hopes of finding him again. When he appeared to her, she pulled him out of her dreams to stand in front of her. She was happy to have him there and he was just as happy to be there," Lucien said softly.
His teacher had left him before Lucien was to be on his own finally to follow his Siren. It was an experience that few had and no one frowned upon, many supported Darius' path.
Shaking his head and chuckling softly, he continued knowing that he may very well lull her to sleep with the story. "When word reached the current King of the Incubi, he was not angry nor vengeful, he gave Darius his blessing and told him to be happy and not look back, to live a life that no other Incubi has lived. Darius accepted the blessing and left our plane to live with Satyre. They reside on an island in the South, last I checked," he said with a chuckle.
"And they did have children, one boy and one girl. Both are irresistible to the average human, so they have been taught how to use the magicks from their parents wisely. The boy resides in the Incubi court, taking more after his father and the girl resides with them, taking more after her mother," Lucien finished, looking to the necromancer.

“Well, that is nice,” Ayvajin said after the incubus had finished the tale. The necromancer gave a slight smile. “It is nice to know that your kind are capable of love. You all seem to come off as only capable of lust.”
The necromancer stretched out along the bed, her arms and legs straightening out. She looked back to Lucien. “Is it my turn to tell you a story or are you even interested in such things, King Lucien? How can I entertain you?”
Ayvajin laughed a bit. It seemed rather strange to think or even call the incubus a king.

"If you wish. Although you should probably go to sleep, necromancer. The night is no longer young," he said as he stretched his arms up over his head, the muscles playing over one another in a sort of sensual matter.
"And we only convey lust, it is our nature, just as you seem to attract the dead," he said with a shrug as he dropped his arms back down, resting his hands on the mattress. "You have spent a while in the frozen tundra and running from a nivisaurus. It is wiser for you to rest now while you have solitude."
