The blind half-breed stirred slowly from where she had fallen asleep next to the animagus, her eyes never opening since she couldn't even distinguish light from dark. Everything was black, there were no shadows, no greys, just an empty void of nothing. However, this never bothered her seeing as she was accustomed to it and functioned rather well without her eyes as it were.
She made a small noise, as she often did when waking up and a delicate hand fluttered down to rest on her stomach as she felt the baby kick. A small smile curved her lips upwards as she relaxed some more, content to lay there for the moment.

The animagus had slipped out of bed a little while before Cecilia had woken up. He was preparing for the day. He would take the blind half breed out into the snow and onto the hidden mountain paths. He knew that they needed to start early. If they did not get onto the trails now, it may be after dark when they need to start home, and he would not have her traveling in the night.
Tier was packing one of the bags with food, water, blankets, and bandages. This bag was one he would carry upon his back. Cecilia did not need any extra weight upon her being. The animagus was constantly looking out for the half breed. He worried about her even more now that she was pregnant with his child.
The animagus went to the window and glanced out in the morning darkness. Snow was falling to the ground still. It had been snowing off and on for the past few weeks in the mountains. He let out a sigh. More snow meant harder travel for those who ere not accustom to it. He hoped that Cecilia could deal with it.

Cecilia could sense the mood of the animagus and she sat up, brushing her hair over her shoulders and out of her face. A small frown pursed her lips as she sought out where he was, able to tell through whatever odd sense she had exactly where he was.
"What's wrong?" she asked softly as she combed her fingers through her hair to get the knots out before pulling it back into a tight braid. She couldn't tell it was still snowing, but that didn't bother her too much, she was able to follow easily by listening to him and figuring out where he placed his footsteps.

Tier turned and looked at Cecilia. "It's just snowing, but that's fine," he told her. He gave a smile to calm himself down. "You should get up, though, and get ready for the day. We will be leaving soon, so we can finish all of our travels before night fall. I would rather not have you out in the cold when the sun goes down."
The animagus walked over and kissed the blind half breed gently as he sat down beside her. He slipped an arm around her, giving her a gentle hug.
"I love you, Cecilia," he told her gently with a slight smile.

Cecilia smiled and ran her hand down his back gently, frowning slightly at the tension she felt there. She sighed lightly before kissing him back and hugging him. "I love you too," she said with a light smile before she nodded.
"I'll get ready now, since you're so worried about everything," she teased gently a knowing smile on her face. "I can feel it, so don't even try to deny it," she said as she leaned forward and kissed his forehead, fingers running through his hair.
She wouldn't ask anymore questions, this they both understood, so she was content to follow Tier's instructions since there wasn't much else she could or would do.

"I cannot help but worry about the ones I love," Tier said, watching the half breed. "If something were to happen to you, I wouldn't know what to do with my self, Cecilia. I really would be lost."
The animagus took her hand gently, kissing the top of it. "But get ready, and then we will leave. I want you to dress as warm as possible, Cecilia. Can't be too careful, you know."
Tier stood up. He kissed the half breed's cheek before leaving her so she could get dressed for the day. He went back to the bag and double checked that everything was ready for the trip.

Cecilia nodded, silently getting dressed as Tier had instructed her to do so. She pulled on pants and boots as well as a coat. She tied her strip of cloth over her eyes as she often did when she was going out somewhere unknown. She bit her lip as she concentrated on tying the knot behind her head, hidden by her hair. A few wisps of hair trailed out of the braid and framed her face as she moved over to stand by Tier.
"Alright," she said with a light smile. She held her coat in her arms for the time being, until they were actually leaving then she would put it on.

Tier had already dressed earlier. He wore deer hide pants and boots along with long sleeved white shirt. He slipped on a deer hide coat before pulling the bag upon his back. The animagus could deal with the cold with less than what he was wearing. He would have no problem with traveling through the mountains. Yet, he was still worried about Cecilia.
"Ready to go, love?" he asked her, his eyes surveying her. "It will be a long travel, so I hope not to tire you out too much." He leaned down to her, kissing her lips gently.

Cecilia arched an eyebrow as she pulled her own coat on, listening to him with a small smile as she shook her head. "You are worse than Celestine. He couldn't speak," she teased with a light laugh as she made sure the coat was fastened before following Tier outside.
She pulled the hood up over her head and sighed. She could very well keep up with him if she had to but she knew he was worried about the baby as well. It was unfamiliar territory to her, so she would have to rely on him and she did, knowing he wouldn't let her get hurt.
"I guess," she said with a small smile.

Tier took Cecilia's hand gently in his as he led her down one of the worn down mountain trails. "I don't want you to be afraid, you know," he said to her, his breath floating out of his mouth in a rise of steam. "I will not allow anything in these mountains to hurt you."
He had given her the same words before they had started their journey. He wanted her to feel as safe as possible. So far, the animagus had allowed nothing to harm the half breed in any way, and he was making sure that things stayed that way.

Cecilia smiled and wrapped her fingers around his, nodding. "I know Tier," she said with a smile as she let him lead her, her breath also rising in a white stream from her lips when she spoke.
She trusted him completely and had almost since their first meeting in the forest time ago. She pushed the strands back under her hood and quieted down, paying attention to their surroundings and to where Tier was stepping with her uncanny hearing. She was able to sense slight differences in the terrain as he led, figuring out where to step and where not to step.

Tier took Cecilia through the mountains. They traveled for a few hours before the animagus seemed to finally find what he wanted. They stopped walking just outside a cave that went into the side of a mountain. He turned to the half breed, taking her hand tightly in his.
"I think you will catch your bearings much better inside," the animagus told her as he slowly led her into the cave. "The echos will probably help you grow much more accustom to your surroundings. We are almost there."
Tier smiled a bit as he looked forward. The cave was dark, but to the half breed and the animagus the darkness was nothing. Tier had keen eyes, and Cecilia would use her own way of seeing to get around.

Cecilia merely nodded. Once inside the cave, she had an even better sense and it was almost as if she could use echolocation to pin point exactly where they were and what everything looked like. Her cheeks were bright red as well as her nose and she dropped Tier's hand to push her hood off so she could hear better.
Her hair had been tugged loose by the wind and she pushed it back, biting on her lower lip for a moment as her fingers became tangled in the knots. The blind half breed was able to walk silently behind Tier, always following him because that was the safer option for her.
Her heart beat picked up slightly as she kept her breathing even. The echoes told her the cave was large and seemed to go back for a ways, making her think of the tunnels and the Underdark, instantly striking a bit of fear into her but trusting Tier over her deep-rooted fear.

"It's alright, Cecilia," Tier said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "Do not become frighten. It is just a cave in the mountain. There is nothing from the Underdark here."
The animagus had instantly known what had unsettled the half breed, and he was quick to assure that everything was fine. He continued to lead her, bringing her deeper into the cave. He left reassuring touches upon her arm and back to relax her.
After a while of walking, light shown through in the darkness. One each side of the tunnel were lit torches. The cave became a bit warmer as well, and it was much more relaxing to journey in the stone tunnels.

Cecilia nodded once, letting him lead her and following along silently, unable to see the torches although she could hear and smell them as well as feel the heat from there. She instantly took a half-step back, her mind not catching up with what her instincts were doing. It felt all too like the Black Market, but she knew Tier would not take her back there.
She sighed gently, biting her lower lip before shaking off her instincts and taking Tier's hand, letting him reassure her as she followed him further into the cave and towards whatever mystery.

After a while of more walking, they came to a wooden door that was rather out of place in the cave. The edges of the door promised light on the other side. Tier continued to hold Cecilia's hand as he stepped forward and opened the door.
"Everything is fine," he told the half breed gently before stepping into the room.
The room was rather brightly lit. It was fashioned like a living room. There was a fireplace that was ablaze. There was a green rug upon the floor, old couches and chair, an old wooden table, and a bookshelf which held old tomes. There was another room connected to the living room which was a small kitchen with a kitchen table, stove, cabinets, and counter tops.
"Here, sit down for a moment," Tier told Cecilia gently as he led her over to the couch. He allowed her to place her hand upon it and feel it.

Cecilia nodded, letting Tier lead her and sitting down where he instructed her to be, looking rather like a fragile doll for the time being. She bit her lower lip drawing it under, still listening to everything around her and curious about the room she was in, but she would behave and not ask questions. It was how she had been trained.
She pushed some strands of hair out of her face as she folded her hands together, fingers playing with one another in small movements that would cease the moment she was aware of someone else. "Alright," she said softly.

Tier left a kiss upon Cecilia's temple. "I will be right back," he told her gently, rubbing her back. "I'm going to check the other room, alright. I will not be too far away." He kissed her once more before walking off.
The animagus opened a door and stepped in. Directly after that came the sound of paws on the stone floor. A medium sized, long haired brown dog came running over to the half breed. It jumped up on the couch and gently nudged Cecilia with its nose as if asking for some attention.

The blind half-breed started when she heard the sound of paws and froze when the dog jumped up and started nudging her. She was nervous about the whole situation and the dog startled her. She held her hand still for the dog to decide if it was going to bite or what.
She couldn't see, but the dog didn't seem like it was Tier, so she wondered about it, if it was another shapeshifter or if it was a real dog. Something told her it may not be, but then again, nothing was ever quite what it seemed.

The dog licked Cecilia's face, pawing at her gently. The dog brushed up against her playfully before settling back down and resting its head against the half breed gently.
After a moment, Tier stepped back into the room. He had set the bag down in the room and had left his deer hide coat in the room. He stretched out his arms before walking over and sitting on the arm of the couch. He wrapped his arm around Cecilia's shoulders, gently rubbing her arm. He leaned over and kissed her cheek lightly.
"Are you alright?"
