Cecilia gently lay a hand on the dog's head, half sensing that was what it wanted her to do. When Tier returned, she fixed him with a soft smile as she nodded her head. "I'm fine, for the moment," she said as she rested a hand on her stomach and felt the baby kick.
Smiling slightly at the animagus, she leaned into his touch, the only sure thing she had in this new surroundings. She took her hand off the dog and touched his arm, more to read his mood and what was going on than anything else.

The brown dog gave a bark that seemed to be directed toward Tier. The animagus looked at the dog for a moment before giving a nod. His eyes shifted back over to Cecilia.
"I'm going to go make some tea," he told the half breed gently, stroking her hair. "I will be only a moment, alright?" He smiled a bit before leaning down and kissing the blind girl's cheek. He then moved away and walked off to the kitchen. He got a kettle that was already full of water ready and started to fix up some tea.

Cecilia shifted slightly, nodding at Tier's words as she bit her lower lip, drawing it under before releasing it. She tucked her hair behind her ear as she folded her hands in her lap, sitting quietly and looking as pretty as a picture for the time being.
She pressed her hands to her stomach and shifted slightly so the baby wasn't kicking so much. The baby still kicked, but not as much as it finally settled down and seemed to fall asleep, causing Cecilia to smile faintly as she moved her hands back to her lap. She was still rather confused as to what was going on.

"He will be beautiful," came a soft voice from Cecilia's side where the dog had been sitting. The dog had disappeared and now sat a woman who leaned back lazily against the couch. Her eyes were dark, black in appearance. Her hair was dark brown and fell down to her jaw bone. She wore simple clothes: green shirt, brown vest, brown pants, and brown boots.
The woman's posture was rather relaxed. Her eyes drifted over to Cecilia, taking in the blind girl's form. "You ought to let Tier know of the child's gender, unless you want him to find out in the end. He will be rather pleased either way."

Cecilia started, her breath coming out in a light gasp as she edged slightly away from the new voice. As to why she hadn't had enough sense to figure out if it was another animagus, she didn't know. She brushed a few strands of hair out of her face as she dropped her head forward, seeming to stare at her hands if her eyes worked.
She shrugged as she chewed on her lower lip for a moment before speaking. "I'd have to think about it," she said softly as she toyed with her fingers in her lap.

The woman gave a faint smile as she watched the blind half breed. "There is no reason to fear me. I mean you no harm. You should already know this. Tier would not bring you to someone who has intentions to hurt you."
The male animagus came back into the room with a tray of tea cups all filled with tea and sugar. He sat the tray down on the table before handing a cup to the woman, then a cup to Cecilia. He sat down in one of the chairs facing the two females.
"Cecilia, this is my mother, Taelion," Tier said to the half breed with a smile.

Cecilia nodded slightly, still a bit shy and unsure of herself, despite the reassurances of both she knew to be true. The name meant nothing to her at all, she had been raised as a slave on the Black Market, they were not educated any farther than was necessary for them to be sold, so of course they did not know of the religions or of the ancients or even how the world had come to be, to them everything was merely about staying alive, and not worrying about the past.
She kept her face towards her lap, a bit unsure of what to say as she chewed on her lower lip. Being raised as a slave never had time to dictate social niceties, so she had to settle for an old standby that she had heard other people use. Of course she meant it, she was merely shy and unsure of how to proceed. "It's nice to meet you," she murmured.

"It is nice to meet you as well, Cecilia," Taelion said to the girl. The ancient was rather pleased with meeting the half breed. It could be seen all over her facial features. Her smile was rather not normal for her.
The ancient animagus took the blind half breed's hand gently and raised it up to her face for Cecilia to get a better look at her. "These are my facial features for now," she told the girl. "I can shift into any form that I please. Even my human forms can vary." Taelion gave another smile watching the half breed.

Cecilia merely nodded, her mouth forming a small 'o' of understanding as butterfly fingers moved across the ancient's face. Her delicate fingertips picked up much about the ancient that would be well hidden to anyone else. But since the half breed relied on her fingers to tell her much about the world, she always picked up the smallest details.
To her, they did not feel the same, but she had to trust what they said. Her brows furrowed briefly with that thought but it was gone in an instant, fleeting as many of her unhappy emotions were. She withdrew her hand and nodded, seeming satisfied with what she found out and folded her hands in her lap again.

"I thought it would be fitting for you to meet my mother, Cecilia," Tier said gently, watching the one he loved. He smiled a bit as he watched the half breed interact with the ancient. "I wanted to see what you might think of her being around when the baby finally comes."
The animagus's mother had been pestering him for thousands of years to find one person for him. Tier had had many loves over his lifetime, but none that he had clung onto as fast as he had Cecilia.
"I have been wanting a grandchild for sometime, but Tier is not one to simply go around and impregnate women," Taelion added, looking to the blind half breed.
