What if, following the end of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, history was different?
The year is AD 140. The five great empires of Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Hittite, Roman, in addition to several smaller belligerent or neutral nation - dominate the revealed ancient world. The rest is veiled in darkness. People with strange powers have revealed themselves, and the gods have taken a more active role in the world. The Empires struggle for either peace or conquest.
