Xiao sidestepped, barely avoiding the oncoming attack. There was hardly any room to fight in the Stroikara Mountains. One small misstep could send him falling to his death. He gripped the hilt of his sword tight and slashed down the attacker. Sweat dripped down his face and neck. How long had he been fighting? He was no longer sure. But he was dead set on sending this beast back where it came from.
The black slender form of the attacker dodged every single one of his attacks. “Damnit.” He muttered under his breath. His crimson eyes were ablaze with anger and frustration. How was he going to win this? He growled and swung his blade at the creature. “Why.” Slash. “Won‘t.” Slash. “You.” Slash. “Die!?” The black beast crouched down then kick him back. Xiao went flying and bounced off the rock wall. He landed with a thud. Oh, but it didn’t stop there. The creature came rushing towards him, picked him up, by the collar of his shirt, and slammed him into the wall again.
Xiao coughed up blood. “Alright alright! I give!” He called out. The nekoboy backed off, allowing Xiao to wipe the blood from his mouth. He spat the remaining blood in his mouth out. The blood and saliva dripped down the rocks.

Xing Lan giggled. Before stepping out of her hiding spot from behind the rocks. “Hell yea! I win! I win!” She exclaimed happily as she bounced up and down, giving her summoned nekoboy a ‘V for Victory’ sign. She made her way to Xiao and the black beast. “Now you have to do me a favor!” She chimed happily. To which her brother rolled his eyes and muttering ‘Don’t I do them anyways?’ She laughed.
She then shook her head disapprovingly. “Ne, Xiao, you suck at life. Getting beat by Pandorum.” She scratched behind the beast’s ear. Pandorum purred in content, loving its reward for beating Xiao. She grinned. “Now then, what should I make you go get this time?” She twirled a strand of her pink hair in between her fingers, chewing her lower lip thoughtfully. She already sent him to the dark Tunnels of the Underdark to get the Blood Rose. So anywhere else should be a piece of cake for him after that. Even more so considering that upon his return he told her about the Drow Priestess he had met. To come in contact with a dark elf and live, well, that means you must have done something right. Or maybe the Drow Elf wanted him out as soon as possible.
“Well, while I decide, why don’t you play with Pandorum again?” The dark nekoboy grinned creepily at Xiao, obviously more than happy to go another round again.

Xiao looked to Pandorum, not exactly sure if he wanted to take up on that offer. The path they were currently on wasn’t exactly fit to be having such fights. But he sighed and readied himself for another go at the summoned creature. He would not be seen as a coward. “Fine.”
But just then, a sudden change in temperature, the loud crunch of claws forcefully clawing into mountainous rock, wings batting in order to keep some balance, Xiao could almost see the coming danger. “Shit.” He mumbled. A dragon. And since they were no where near the icy cold tops of Stroikara Mountains, it only meant there was a Common Dragon near by. And coming closer.
There was no way in hell they could take on such a beast. In an effort to remain unseen by the dragon, Xiao grabbed Xing Lan, along with Pandorum, and hid behind some rather large rocks. “Sh…” He told them. The large dragon came closer and closer. Its thick, sharp claws dug into the hard rock with ease. They held their breaths.
