Azazealyn sighed, leaning back into his touch slightly as she thought. "I know it's not helpful, in truth the gods and goddesses rarely are. We are merely puppets in their master plans, but we can try. The best I can give you is to see your relationship with the gypsy through, decide what you are going to do with that first," she said, knowing the drows could wait for the attack.
"Allies will take time, especially if you with to gather the vampires and the gray dwarves and the other dark races, Ama. We must decide who you are going to seek alliance from first and go from there. I can send the Matron Mothers to seek alliance from the grey dwarves, but we know they will most likely follow us in battle against the surface," she said, her voice still soft.

“I can do that,” Amaji said quietly with a slight nod. “I just want everything to happen quickly, and I know I must wait. The gypsy even helped me to understand that concept. Patience. She knows what I am about as well, and she seems trustworthy enough.”
The Black Maji sighed, looking down at his hands. “Aza, I have never connected with anyone so strongly before. I already could not imagine what I would do without the gypsy. She has influenced me that much already.”
He toyed with the blanket that was upon the bed aimlessly as he thought back to the fortune teller. She was absolutely beautiful even in his thoughts, and his body was craving her as he simply sat there. What had she done to him? He felt as though a spell had been casted over him.

Azazealyn smiled slightly as she leaned back to look up at him. "I think, Ama, you're in love already," she said, watching him with dancing lavender eyes. Of course the drow did not believe in the concept of love and Azazealyn thought herself incapable of such an emotion or to ever receive it.
"Of course, if she is fine with everything, I see no reason why she could not meet Talex since he is such a big part of your life, and I will admit to being curious about her as well," Azazealyn said with an amused smile at the Maji's expense. Ah, the benefits of friendship: eternal ribbing.

Amaji shook his head slightly. “I think you just want to meet her so you can corrupt her,” the mixed elf said with a slight smile. “And to tell her everything you can possibly tell her about me. I am onto your little game, Aza.”
The wizard ruffled the drow’s hair in a quick gesture. Amaji would get his payback someday, and he was sure of that. The high priestess may have been as drow as possible, but he felt she would find someone to follow her around with puppy eyes that she would adore. He knew it would happen.

Azazealyn scowled at him, pushing her hair back out of her face before standing up so that she was facing him and even with him. "No, I merely wanted to tell her what little tricks I know that make you moan in bed," she said with a wicked smile before retreating across the room to the food that had been brought up not too long ago.
Pouring herself a cup of tea, she curled into one of the chairs by the fire and smiled, hiding it behind her teacup as she sipped from it. "Tell me more about her, Ama."

“She can learn in time what makes me moan,” Amaji said, shaking his head slightly. He got up from the bed and walked over and sat in one of the chairs as well. His eyes observed Azazealyn with a hidden amusement.
“I really can’t wait for you to land yourself a man, Aza,” he said, knowing the topic would soon get on her nerves. She did not like indication that she would ever get in some sort of relationship with a man. “I will be able to tease you relentlessly like you do to me, dear little Aza.”

"At least if I do, I would have the sense not to tell you or slink back in the room after being gone all night," she shot back, giving him a warning. The drow priestess was one of those who never intended to start a house or carry on a line and Amaji knew this. It was his way of teasing her back for her ribbing from earlier.
She stuck her tongue out at him in a childish gesture, nudging him with her foot before sipping at her tea. "You should eat, Ama," she said, glaring at him as she changed the subject.

Amaji stood up and stepped over to the food. “I know you’ll capture or be captured by some man some day,” he said, getting some food before sitting back down in his chair. “Then, there will be little Azas running about for me to teach magic to. And I can tell you all how cute you look as a family. It will be wonderful.”
He took a bite out of his food, waiting for Azazealyn to get angry at him. He knew that there was a certain level of teasing that was allowed, of course, he seemed to always surpass this level after a few minutes. Amaji felt like teasing the drow, though, so he would continue until she got physically violent with him.

Eyes narrowed at him as she set her cup down, deciding not to answer and merely ignore him for the time being. Shifting so she was facing away from him, she closed her eyes as if she were going to meditate and instead focused her thoughts. Sometimes, ignoring him was far better than actually responding, she mused.
Opening her eyes again, she fixed him with a steady gaze and shook her head. "I'm going to bathe," she said, standing and moving around him with the grace she possessed, light on her feet and silent.
It was her way of telling Amaji the conversation was over on that subject.

Amaji smiled and shook his head. “You can tease me, but yet, you can never take any teasing from me, Aza. Why is that? You know my words are in good humor.”
He let out a sigh, knowing that it was useless to even try and argue with her. If she did not want to respond, she would not. But he did not enjoy how things ended up working out between them. He found someone, she teased him, yet if he teased her about how she would find someone, that was off limits.
“Go to your bath then,” he said with a sigh.

Azazealyn sighed, moving over to drop a kiss onto his head before ruffling the hair there. "You know that I do not want any children. That is where you crossed the line, Ama," she said softly as she watched him with gentle eyes.
"I have no intentions of forming a house of my own or starting a line, I do not want my mother to carry on her disgrace and shame anymore, so I will end it on my part. Even if I have Lloth's favor, she no longer does and any descendants will not have the favor either," she said, explaining things to him.

“What does their favor matter?” Amaji asked, eyebrow raised. “What do the others matter when their ranking is not the highest? You should only worry about what the goddess thinks. What I think. Forget about everyone else.”
The mixed elf ran a hand through his hair. “Anyways, if you found someone from the surface like I have, you won’t have to worry about disgrace and shame upon your family line. No one really cares about that here, unless it is some unwanted child from a peasant that was father by a king. You know, that sort of thing.”

Azazealyn sighed, shrugging as she stood to the side, her hands sliding through his hair as she gave him a massage. "It all sounds far too complicated for that sort of thing," she said, making a face. Azazealyn would never fully understand the complexities of the surface social world, having been fully raised a drow, she did not even believe in the notions that Amaji was presenting.
"Either way, I do not want children and I doubt anyone or anything from the surface would want a drow in their lives. They hate us," she said flatly as she withdrew her hand.

“We shall see then,” Amaji said with a slow, knowing smile. “But go get your bath. Wash yourself of all the words I have said to you. Relax a bit. Stay in for a while. Enjoy yourself. I will be waiting out here, eating and drinking some tea. I will be relaxing while I can since my entertainment shall be distracted from me.”
The Black Maji stepped away and fixed up a cup of tea for himself. He had a feeling Azazealyn would end up discarding his words, but that was quite alright. She could. She had that ability.

Azazealyn sighed and stuck her tongue out at him, a childish gesture that showed she was the younger party instead of the other way around. Shoving a hand through her hair, she moved over and shut the door between the rooms as she drew her own bath, thinking about his words before shaking her head. He knew something she did not and that was what bothered her.
Sighing to herself, she stripped herself of her clothes before stepping into the bath, relaxing in the warm water and clearing her thoughts. She sighed, drawing small patterns in the water, fingers trailing through it as she took her time, letting Amaji do as he pleased.
When she finally emerged, she dried herself off and put on a loose dress, more to sleep in than anything else, and stepped out into the main room again.
