Caitlyin spun around in a circle, the skirt of her dress twirling with her movements as she looked around at the unfamiliar settings. She chewed on her lower lip, enhancing the redness that was eternally present as she clutched her stuffed rabbit to her and tried to figure out where to go next. She pushed a few locks of blonde hair behind her ears, watching the hustle and bustle of the city streets in a shy manner, feeling rather overwhelmed.
Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she looked around again, hoping to catch sign of her big brother somewhere among the throngs of people, but violet eyes could find no sign of him. She sniffled, rubbing the back of her hand across her eyes before sighing and trudging along, keeping an eye out for her beloved big brother.
It wasn't until a few seconds later that she was pushed down again, this time by a group of three boys that looked to be her age. She let go of Bun Bun when she fell and immediately scrambled for him, but the biggest of the two picked up the rabbit and held it upside down by a foot. "What the hell are you playing with this thing for?" he asked in a sneer.
"Shouldn't a pretty girl like yourself be workin'?" the others chimed in, nodding as they crowded around her and crossed their arms, taking in her appearance.
Violet eyes watered and her lips trembled, looking like she was about to break into sobs. "Give me back my Bun Bun," she said softly, tears slipping down her cheeks and over porcelain skin.
The boys just jeered and tossed the stuffed rabbit back and forth amongst themselves and Caitlyin began to cry even more. She wasn't as helpless as most thought, but it took a while for her to get angry and upset to do anything and beloved big brother wasn't here to save her, so who would?

A bright light suddenly shone down upon the two young men, a bright piercing light emanating from a elderly pair of wrinkled, decrepit hands. They yelped, glaring in the general direction of the light. Of course, it was a bad idea to be generally loutish in Temarra; there were guards everywhere and the King always walked with his people, and today he had come upon this scene. He rushed towards the boys, smacked upwards with his white staff, forcing them to release the stuffed toy bunny. He caught it, before handing it back to the girl.
Boliko sighed, shaking his head at the two men. A pair of guards seemingly appeared out of thin air behind them. "Oh jeez..." One of the men sighed, before they were dragged away through the the cobbled streets. The old wizard turned to face the girl, smiling kindly. "Sorry about that, they'll be spending tonight in a prison cell..." He apologised, running a hand through his grey beard which had only just temporarily blinded the two louts.

Caitlyin sniffled and looked up at the older man, wiping the tears from her eyes as she gratefully accepted the rabbit back. "Thank you," she said softly, her voice still wavering from where she had been crying.
She was a generally happy and a rather go-lucky person around her brother but she couldn't seem to find him now. Once her thoughts turned to him, she turned her head rapidly from side to side as blonde hair flowed behind her as she scanned the streets for him. Pushing herself into a standing position, she cradled her rabbit to her chest as she shifted on her feet.
"Where's Big Brother? I can't find him and now I'm lost," she said, violet eyes taking in the streets.

The white Maji listened to the young girl intently. He had never seen anyone this age so emotionally immature, but felt even more so inclined to help her out. Maybe he'd learn something about her as they searched for her 'big brother'.
"Okay, I'll help you look for your big brother, if you can tell me what I'm looking for," The old wizard replied, already looking out into a crowd. Although he had a sharp eye, nobody seemed out of place, nor did anyone appear like they were searching for anyone in the crowd. He stroked his beard for a moment; even using his magic he could feel nothing about the girl other than an aura of something... slightly malevolent, but even then it was hard to tell.
"If you lead me I'll help you out," He finished, feeling totally resolved to help the young woman.

"He's tall and wears white," she said, raising her tiny hands above her head and standing on her toes, Bun Bun dangling from one hand by his ear. Everyone was tall to her, so being tall was not a very accurate description.
"He's gentle and nice to me, unless someone steals Bun Bun," she said with a brilliant smile as she presented the rabbit to the old wizard, more for him to inspect and see, rather like she was introducing another person.
"Oh and he carries a bag on his back," she said, nodding with the conviction of a small child as she finished describing him.

"So wait... he's tall, wears white and carries a bag..." The wizard murmured, looking out into the crowds again, this time with a new purpose; but alas, he could not find the person she was talking about, no matter how much he looked (even when a little magic was involved to look for the persona he had felt in the child's aura). He sighed, standing backwards. "It doesn't look like he's in the high street, child," He sighed, scratching at his beard once more.
Boliko was never one to give up, though, and he found himself walking towards the closest end of the street, looking up and down. By the gods, you'd have thought that this girl's carer wouldn't have just left her!

Caitlyin tilted her head to the side, watching him curiously. Of course big brother wasn't here! If he were, the boys would have been rather messy. Actually, everything would have been rather messy but that was besides the point.
"Well, he wears the white all over his body. You won't see his face," she murmured, sketching a picture with her hands. "He carries a sword and he has black over his eyes and mouth," she said, finishing with a giggle. She knew what the demon looked like under the white skin he wore, but describing that would summon the priests again. And her wrists were still hurting from the bruises that were showing up in the definitive shape of hands.

He had woken up dazed and slightly confused on what was going on at first. 'Course he had quickly noticed that they had taken Cait and had begun to track them using what little knowledge he had in the subject. There was little doubt he wasn't the best, he he was good enough to track them to this town, which was all that mattered to him. Kel had lost his hat so he was just in his suit while turquoise hair drooling down his white cloth features, which weren't much. Two eye holes and one long mouth, each hole covered with a thin black silk, making it easy for him to see out, impossible to see in. Within the city, he moved through the crowd like a ghost even though most people would assume someone like himself would stand out. Being six foot and having cloth skin was clearly a dead give away, but Kel had his ways. Finding the priest's church, he paid them a visit first, believing that's where Cait would be. Finding that she wasn't, he didn't hold back any attacks, letting the violence truly get morbid beyond detail as his anger filled him. Many would soon say that it had been wolves that had done it, but a trained eye would know better. Of course, Kel also knew the public would do anything to think it wasn't a person that had done such a thing. Some of the priests were left alive, most of which were hiding and didn't see Kel or only saw parts that would never be helpful. After all, during the massacre, he wasn't wearing his white cloth skin.
Cleaning himself up in the lower streets, he put his cloth skin back on and got dressed, wearing one of the priest robes since his suit had been ruined by blood. Letting the brown robe wash over his white cloth skin, he moved back out into the streets, throwing up the brown hood to conceal his features. Meanwhile, he hide his back-sword along his hip as best as he could, but knew a trained eye would easily catch it sticking out. As he moved along, he noticed Cait within a nearby alley talking to an older gentlemen. Watching for only a moment, Kel could tell this man held no harmful intentions towards Cait, but that didn't stop Kel from suspecting him of something. Closing in on the alleyway, he pulled back the hood and stared over at Cait, "Boo," was all he stated in his deep hypnotic voice.

Boliko's elderly eyes quickly shot towards the sound of the voice; he quickly looked upon what would, of course, be the description of the 'big brother' that Caitlyin had been talking about. The white cloth skin, covering everything, below a brown robe (in fact, a robe similar to the priests in the city, funnily enough). Although there were openings for the eyes and mouth, they were covered in a dark material.
"That is.. actually rather menacing," The old man said humouredly. However, since his younger 'sister' was so nice, he assumed that the brother would be similar. However, not that his eyes scanned the figure, he wasn't so sure. Tapping into his magic slightly, he tried to feel the aura that surrounded every sentient being. It wasn't something he recognised, but it definitely wasn't completely human. He noticed a bulge in the brown robe - a weapon of some kind?
"Caitlyin, your brother?" The white Maji asked politely, his eyes resting on the demon, unmoving.

The young girl started when she heard Kel speak but quickly relaxed and smiled, nodding as she launched herself at the demon, her arms wrapping around him in a hug. "Big brother!" she exclaimed, happy once again now that he was back.
She had almost completely forgotten about everything else that had happened that day, feeling safe again now that her big brother was there to protect her. She had a feeling that something messy and violent had happened to the priests but she never asked about it. In fact, she never really asked about anything he did, instead mostly listening to him and playing around, following him through out Yviex.
"This is my big brother," she said, happy.

Kel was glad to see that his little sister was alright, it would have done more harm to him if she had been injured or worse. Feeling her embrace, he wrapped his arms around her in return, patting her back to tell her things were going to be alright now. Of course, Kel already knew Cait's little mind would already be forgetting the kidnapping and be focusing on the happy thoughts of the day. This was one of the many reasons he adored his little sister, she was always so positive, but in Kel's mind, that could also be a downfall. Pushing those thoughts aside, his eyes turned to stare at the wizard beside them. Examining him more carefully now, Kel found himself sniffing the air, detecting a hint of something he couldn't quite place that lingered around this specific wizard. Part of Kel believed it was power or some sort, perhaps the wizard was a strong magic user, that would certainly account for the sweet smell lingering around him. 'Course, what was sweet to Kel's nose wasn't always sweet to others. However, he began to detect a hint of something else in the air, causing him to sniff more carefully as his eyes diverted from the wizard. 'Do I smell the scent of boys within my nostril?' he questioned himself with a perked brow. It did seem like there were three around here not to long ago, three that were up to no good at that. Shaking his head, he stared at Cait to realize she was just fine, so whatever those boys were up to, it couldn't have been picking on her.
Hearing the wizard question Cait, Kel couldn't help but chuckle at his question as his eyes rose up to stare at the old man. It seemed hard to believe for many people that he and Cait could even be closely related. After all, Kel looked like a giant toy rather then an actual person. And very few new the truth about what was beneath his cloth skin, the priests somehow being one of them and then Caitlyin. Mostly Cait cause she had begun to help him keep his demon looks at bay. Certainly Kel was a demon, but he was trying hard to be something else, his mind demanded this or else he'd be lost to the world. "It hides my burnt flesh," Kel idly stated towards the wizard, a blatant lie, but one he believed would satisfy the wizard's curiosity enough for him to leave as that.

Boliko smiled at the being; he certainly was odd, even to the White Maji. In all of his long years, he hadn't come across somebody like this. It wasn't human, sure, but it felt to the wizard like the man was desperately trying to become said race. "Interesting... how did your skin become scarred? A fire, I assume?" He asked politely, masking any suspicion that his voice held. He had no right to be suspicious, if he was, after all, this girl's brother, but there was something...
"Well, Caitlyn, I should go now," The elderly wizard sighed, his true smile returning. He took a step backwards, going to exit the alleyway. He'd rather had enough of her brother, even though he had no right nor reason to be frightened.

Cait nodded and waved, giving the elder mage a beaming smile while she hugged her brother again, wrapping delicate arms around the demon's midsection as she nuzzled his side with her face, almost like a small child.
She was not scared of Kel, she really had almost no reason to be scared of him or what he did, most of the time she took no notice or didn't understand much of what was going on. She was blissfully ignorant most of the time, but extremely perceptive beneath it all.
Tilting her head back to stare up at the demon, she arched an inquisitive eyebrow as fingers plucked at the robe he wore, eyes asking a silent question as to why he was wearing such a thing but never actually speaking it aloud. Turning to regard the wizard again, she raised a hand and gave him a shy wave, staying close to Kel. "Bye bye!" she called in a sing-song voice like a child.

Watching the wizard carefully, he began to figure that this man wasn't pleased with who he was. Chuckling softly, he waved at Cait's new friend as he wandered off. This time was rare, a time that Kel didn't feel like kicking the old man's ass, course he was just a simple little old man. He wouldn't want anything to do with Cait, or shouldn't unless he was a perverted old man. That thought caused Kel to cringe as his left hand curled into a fist. Good thing he was walking away. Turning his focus from the old man who was walking away, he stared at Cait as he felt her tugging on his new attire. Smiling down at her, he instantly swooped her up into his arms and held her close to him. "Well, seems like someone is going to need a bell wrapped around her neck, huh?" he teased her for a moment, "And those wonderful monks decided to hand me one of their robes after I paid them a visit. It was so nice of them," he chuckled.
He could have told Caitlyin that he killed them, but he figured she would know that without him saying a word about it. Bouncing her in his arm, he looked around for a moment, watching the others around before he turned his attention back to Cait, "So, where should we go now or should we stay here for a while and see the sights?" he questioned his little sister with a bright and warm smile. Kel loved his little sister and he always would.
