The small girl hadn't been to Shempii in a long time, probably a good few months, if not longer. She tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, candy red lips quirking up in a slight smile as she clutched her stuffed rabbit to her and sat in front of the Inn, watching the people go by and basking in the sunlight. She didn't know why she had come back, especially after she had run away so terriefied and she knew that the soulstealer would be here.
Well, one question had been answered, as to what a soulstealer was and how they accomplished that, it had taken her some time to finally open up about it and realize that it was just how Tyebolt had to live and she had to trust that he wouldn't hurt her, especially after he had promised not to. That, and she should apologize for running away and not listening to him. She still felt bad about it, but there was nothing she could do at the moment other than return and wait and see if the soulstealer was about.
Caitlyin was too shy to seek out the soulstealer, instead taking a more passive method of watching the people with a smile on her face, sitting pretty as a portrait as she played with her stuffed rabbit, making a makeshift bed for him. At the moment, her head was tilted down and she was playing with the bunny, hardly paying attention to the passerbys.

The soulstealer could sense her soul miles of way, and when he had felt her come so near, he was almost a bit worried and surprised. He knew that he had terrified her with his soul eating, and for Caitlyin to come back, was something of a blessing.
Tyebolt was quick to find the human girl he had lost a few months ago. He was glad that she was back in Shempii. It did not take him too long to find that she was at the inn and sitting there with her little stuffed toy bunny.
The soulstealer was cautious as he made his way up to the Cypree Inn. He did not want to disturbed the picturesque human girl, who sat with her little stuffed animal outside the inn.

Cait could be heard speaking to herself, well actually to her rabbit, telling some fantastical story and acting as if the rabbit were real and listening to her. She drew curious stares from people, but most of them shook their heads and continued on, passing her off as younger than she was and letting her play. She hadn't been bothered yet by anyone and hoped it stayed that way.
Bright amethyst eyes were focused on her rabbit that she didn't notice anyone around her for a time. It was an endearing trait, she focused on one thing so completely that everything else just disappeared for her. She did it with people too, focusing on them and giving them such rapt attention that they were just drawn to her.
She smiled again, cuddling the bunny to her and seeming to nuzzle noses with it as she finally lifted eyes to scan over the street, seeming to miss the soulstealer in the crowd before dropping them again to look at her bunny, who she placed in her lap.

Tyebolt made his way slowly up to Caitlyin who sat with her bunny and talked to it like she had a habit of doing so. This only made the soulstealer smile to himself. It seemed that the human had not changed at all. She was still her innocent self that he had remembered a few months ago.
He made his movements slow and easy to detect by the human girl. He did not want to surprise her at all, like he had the last night he had seen her before she had ran away. It would have been too much to bare if he scared her off once more.
“Caitlyin,” came Tyebolt’s voice, gentle and soft.

Caitlyin started a bit, surprised as her head shot up and wide eyes locked on the soulstealer's form, her body stiffening for a moment with surprise before she relaxed somewhat and ducked her head, almost embarrassed. "Tye," she murmured, hands playing with the rabbit in an absent-minded fashion before lifting her head up and giving him a soft smile.
Now that the soulstealer was actually here, she was suddenly shy again, not quite certain what she would or should say and do. She was on her own now, big brother having left with someone else anc Cait growing tired of it, so they parted.

The soulstealer sat down beside the human, sending her a slow and kind smile. Well, at least she had not tried to run away from him. This he was glad for. If she would have simply screamed and run off, Tyebolt would not have known what to do. He had been rather tormented about scaring her enough to where she had become horrified and able to leave without another word.
“I hope you do not mind me sitting here,” Tyebolt said to her, his voice low. “If you do mind, I would be more than happy to leave. I do not want to scare you again, Caitlyin, not ever.”

Caitlyin shook her head, sending blonde hair sliding over her shoulders as she nervously bit her bottom lip, squeezing her rabbit as a sign of nervousness. She blinked a few times before shifting to look up at him a smile on her lips again.
Her hand hesitantly reached out, almost nervously before she lay it on his clothed arm, silently telling him everything that she wanted to at the moment as her bright purple ones met his for a moment before she looked back down at her lap, color spreading over her cheeks as she went to withdraw her hand.

“It’s alright, Caitlyin,” Tyebolt told her gently, placing his hand over the one she had set upon his arm. “I am sorry that I did not tell you. I should have. It is alright if you are still afraid of me. That is more than understandable. If I must, I will leave you be, but I feel like you came to Shempii alone for some reason.”
His fingers gently stroked the top of her hand as his eyes fell down upon where her hand rested. He had truly felt terrible for scaring her as badly as he did. He wished that he could take that moment out of history completely, but sadly that was not how time worked.

The tiny human girl blinked, looking at their hands with a soft smile before turning her gaze back up to Tyebolt, bright eyes shining with hidden laughter as she shook her head.
"Big brother found someone else he'd rather be with, so I left," she said simply as she had the grace to look embarrassed. "I don't know what brought me here, but I just came here," she said softly, looking back down at her lap, biting her lower lip.
She paused, as if she were about to say something before taking a breath, closing her eyes as if she were screwing up the courage to say whatever it was. "I don't want you to leave," she said softly as she stared down at her stuffed rabbit. "I came here to apologize to you for running away and not listening. I came to find you," she said, her voice soft.

The soulstealer gave a smile and a nod at the girl’s words. He could not help but be warmed by her words. They did make him rather happy, and they made it feel like it was worth coming out to find Caitlyin here in front of the inn.
“I should apologize to you, Caitlyin. You were not expecting what you saw that night. It is more of my fault than anything else. I was just assuming that you knew what a soulstealer was and what a soulstealer did. I never thought that you would not know, and I was mistaken.”

Caitlying frowned, shaking her head again as her hair slid over her shoulders once more, a pout coming over her pretty red lips. She didn't want to talk about that anymore or again and she looked up at him, her features clearly conveying her wishes.
She shifted slightly, looking out over the waterways as she bit her lower lip, drawing it under for a moment before speaking. "How is Kel?" she asked softly, changing the subject before she looked back at him, a smile gracing her lips.

“He is doing quite fine. You should come and see him. I am sure the bunny would be more than happy if you came to see him, but it is all up to you of course.” Tyebolt sent her another smile.
The soulstealer was not looking to pressure Caitlyin into anything at the moment. He was just glad that she did not despise him for what had happened between the two of them. He was glad that she was back in Shempii and willing to talk to him. Tyebolt had the desire to wrap his arms around the human girl and just hold her tight to him for a long while, relishing in the fact that she was here with him again.

Caitlyin smiled again and nodded, beaming quite literally as the topic changed and she fairly bounced, happy that the little bunny was doing well. She threw her arms around him in a hug, rather forgetting everything now, as she was prone to do with her childish innocence before an embarrassed flush graced her cheeks and she drew back from him with a squeak.
She dropped her arms to her lap, picking up her rabbit again as she toyed with him, a bashful smile on her lips. She wanted to see the bunny and it made her happy that things were going smoothly at the moment with the soulstealer, so she forgot until she was reminded, uncertain of if he wanted contact from her.

Tyebolt beamed at the sheer contact that the human gave him. Even when she pulled away, he could not stop himself from drawing Caitlyin into his own hug. It felt rather good to have her up close to him again, and he debated whether or not he should let her go.
“Come on, let’s go see Kel,” the soulstealer said after a long moment. He let his arms slip away from the girl before he stood up from the bench. “And maybe I will fix up a bit of dinner for the two of us. Some tea as well. I have to make sure you have been fed well especially after your journeys.”

Caitlyin blushed but nodded, rising from the bench as well to follow the soulstealer, a happy bounce in her step as she moved to walk next to him, just happy that things were mostly back to the way they were before anything had happened.
The true test would come if he tried to kiss her, but Cait had thought about this, reminding herself that he hadn't done anything to her and he could have if he'd wanted to. She blinked the thought away before smiling up at the soulstealer, slipping her smaller hand into his larger one, lacing her fingers with his as she tugged him down to kiss his cheek softly.
She smiled up at him, nodding again. "Okay," she said, smiling at him.

The soulstealer was a bit taken back by Caitlyin’s sudden movements and acts of affection. However, he did not mind the attention at all. He invited all of the attention she was willing to give him. He tried to take her touches in stride. His hand gave a gentle squeeze to hers, and a smile brightened up his face once more.
Tyebolt led Caitlyin away from the inn with a nod and a nice little bounce to his strut. He was more than pleased at the moment. He had the girl that he had so cared about back at his side, and he was taking her home to see the bunny Kel and fix her up something to drink and eat. What more could he ask for at the moment?

Caitlyin smiled and kept up with the soulstealer, violet eyes darting around as she watched where they were going, her bunny bouncing along with her as she held him by one floppy ear, careful to never get him dirty or to lose him, no matter what happened. The bunny was very special to her and everyone who came in contact with her could sense it immediately.
She calmed down a bit, still rather happy as blonde hair bounced about her shoulders with her mood, radiating happiness from her being as she flashed another brilliant smile up at the soulstealer.

It did not take that long for the two to travel across the city of Shempii to Tyebolt’s home. Once they had reached the house, the soulstealer led the human in. Once they had entered, he went directly into the kitchen where he started to fix up something to eat for the human girl.
“Kel should be up in his little bed,” Tyebolt told Caitlyin as he set to work. “He will be more than happy to see you again, Caitlyin. You can feel free to bring him down here as well. I won’t mind the extra company.”

Caitlyin nodded before setting her precious stuffed rabbit down in a chair at the table, acting as if he were indeed alive and was going to get into trouble before she slipped off, going back to find the white rabbit, cautiously opening the door to Tyebolt's room.
Kel's head perked up at the sound before his nose twitched and he bounded out of his bed over to the human girl, hopping up and placing his two front paws on her leg, causing Caitlyin to giggle happily as she scooped him up, cradling the bunny to her and nuzzling him.
Turning on her heel, she left the bedroom, heading back downstairs as she pet the soft rabbit, a smile on her lips again.

Tyebolt was still in the kitchen, cooking up a meal for the human girl. He smiled to himself as he busied himself with the work. He did not mind playing the part of the cook for his dear Caitlyin. Truly, the soulstealer would do anything for her.
He started to set the table, placing plates, utensils, and cups at the chairs. It did not take too long for the food to be done, and soon dishes full of food were being set down on the table as well. He also set out a bowl full of vegetables that could be given to Kel.
