Caitlyin smiled happily as she played with the white bunny, giggling as he hopped all over the place and she chased him, careful not to upset anything or let the rabbit outside. The rabbit seemed to have taken up a game of tag with the young girl, always a few steps ahead of her until Caitlyin finally sighed and dove, catching the rabbit and cradling him to her.
Stroking his fur and kissing his nose, she smiled happily as she perched in a window, looking out across the swamp city. The rabbit seemed content to just curl up in her lap as she idly pet him, watching the boats go up and down the streets.

Tyebolt looked into the room from the doorway. He did not say a word. His eyes simply took in the frame of the sixteen year old human girl who sat in the window. The soulstealer smiled a bit. He was glad to have her here now. They had not yet come across her brother, Kel, and for now the soulstealer was enjoying every moment he could with Caitlyin.
Leaning up against the frame of the doorway, Tyebolt continued to keep to himself. He did not want to disturb the beauty and the beast. They both looked rather peaceful just sitting there. How could he allow this girl to slip through his fingers and back into the care of her brother?

Cait was slowly finding herself becoming drowsy with the warmth of the sunlight. Her thoughts began to wander and she became sad, remembering her brother and how she hadn't found him yet. The rabbit seemed to nudge her but she didn't stir, instead just staring out the window. She sighed before seeming to visibly rouse herself from her thoughts and giving a sad smile to the little rabbit, not noticing the soulstealer.
"I miss him," she said softly as she stroked the white rabbit. "I don't know where he is and I'm worried." Her voice seemed to hold her being on the edge of tears.

The soulstealer watched the human quietly. He knew she loved her brother dearly, and that was why they needed to find the demon. He knew that Caitlyin would not be completely happy without knowing where her brother was and if he was safe. They would have to search out Kel.
Tyebolt stepped into the room, heading over to the girl. “No reason to get upset,” he said gently as he reached her, running a light hand over her hair. He gave her a smile. “We’ll find your big brother, I promise,” he continued on. “If you want, we could go out and look for him now.”

Caitlyin looked up at the soulstealer, tilting her head back as she watched him before shaking her head slightly as she became determined not to cry. "I don't know where to look," she said softly as she stared down at the rabbit in her lap again. "I don't even know where he may have gone."
She knew she was upsetting the solstealer slightly and she couldn't help it, however much she didn't want to, she still was. She sent the soulstealer a soft smile before turning her attention back out the window, noticing that the day was getting late.

“We could wander around Shempii trying to find him,” Tyebolt told her with another smile, his hand moving down and gently stroking Caitlyin’s cheek. “We will find him. I promise you that. No need to worry. He probably has not gone too far, knowing that the last place he saw you was in the swamps. He would be too worried about you to go off without you.”
The soulstealer leaned against the wall opposite the human so he could watch her. He took one of her tiny hands into his, giving another smile. “We will find him, alright? No reason to get upset.”

Cait smiled at him picking his hand up to kiss the back of it before shrugging. "I know, but I still wonder where and I don't know the area like you do," she said. "He may have gotten lost in the swamps then we won't find him," she said, chewing her lower lip as she shook her head, sending her hair sliding over her shoulders.
"Maybe we should give it a rest for today so I can think about where he may have gotten to," she said softly as she looked back at the soulstealer, offering him a bright smile.

Tyebolt sat down beside Caitlyin, watching her carefully. He took her hands in his, sending her a smile. “I have a feeling that he is in Shempii,” he told her gently. “We can wait to search for him if that is your wish, but I am positive that he is still in the city and that he is trying to find you.”
The soulstealer did not want to lose this girl, but he knew the right thing to do would be to find her brother Kel and reunite them. What happens after they are back together, well, they would have to see. If Caitlyin wanted to go with her big brother once more, Tyebolt would have to allow it for now.

Caitlyin smiled gently and moved to hug the soulstealer, careful not to disturb the white rabbit in her lap as she wrapped her arms around his taller frame, resting her head on his chest. Caitlyin was very much a small child in that she needed the physical reassurances of hugs and kisses and the like.
She sighed before moving back to her previous position, petting the rabbit again as she watched the people in the boats as she chewed on her bottom lip, the only outward sign that she was worried again. She wanted to find her brother and she believed the soulstealer, but she needed to think for a moment, to rest and to have her mind distracted.

“We can stay here for now, it’s fine,” Tyebolt said softly, leaning forward and kissing her forehead lightly. He sent the girl another smile, running a hand through her hair. “I’ll get some tea for us both. It will help relax you a bit and perhaps help you gather your thoughts.”
The soulstealer smiled once more before getting up from where he sat. He left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. After several minutes, he made his way back up with a tray. Upon the tray was a tea pot with all the supplies needed to prepare a cup of tea.

Cait smiled and nodded, setting the bunny down on the sill next to her. The rabbit was faithful and intelligent and tended not to run away, despite what the girl thought. Kel rather liked living with the soulstealer and was fond of the human girl, since she had been nice enough to take care of him.
Caitlyin had shifted so she was sitting on the floor, playing with Bun Bun when Tyebolt came back. Her attention shifted to him and she sent him another warm smile that seemed to be filled with childish innocence and happiness. "I think Kel's hungry too," she said.

Tyebolt smiled to the girl as he walked over. He sat down on the floor as well, setting the tray between the two of them. “Well, he will get his fill in good time,” the soulstealer said, pouring the tea into two cups. “For now, he will have to wait while we enjoy our tea.”
He put in a bit of sugar into his cup before asking, “Do you need any?” His eyes moved back to the human girl as he offered her some of the sugar. He was hoping that after a while of spending time with her that he would soon learn her preferences.

Caitlying shook her head before taking the teacup from him, cradling it in her hands. Kel hopped around, after she had placed him on the ground, seeming to investigate everything while the soulstealer and the human talked. Caitlyin smiled slightly as she watched him, relaxing back a bit as she held the teacup, letting the warmth seep into her hands and creep up her arms.
She was simple, really, not preferring a lot of things in her life nor did she need them. She was content with things how they were and wouldn't complain about something, even if she didn't actually like it, unless it was going to kill her.

“Even if we do not go search for your brother, I should show you around Shempii,” Tyebolt said with a smile, taking a drink out of his tea cup. “You will need to get some more clothes that fit you properly, not ones that I find and try and figure if they fit you or not.”
The soulstealer had tried his best to find something for Caitlyin to wear around his house that wasn’t one of his large shirts that looked like a dress on her. However, he wasn’t the best at finding clothes for women.

Cait smiled at him, leaning over and kissing his cheek gently. "It's okay," she said, giggling as she moved back to her seat, watching him. The soulstealer got flustered whenever she wore one of his shirts, she could tell that much, but as to anything else, she was rather clueless.
"I don't mind, I can always mend my dress anyways," she said, smiling. "It's not hard and I do know how to sew rather well," she said with a laugh as she leaned over and kissed his cheek again, turning back to see if she could find the rabbit.

Tyebolt grinned at her gentle kiss, wanting more from Caitlyin. Her gentle touches were always wanted by him, after all. The soulstealer’s white eyes watched the human girl, caringly. He moved forward and took her lips into a gentle kiss before moving back and picking up his tea cup.
“I want you to be comfortable, though,” he told her softly, as he sat a bit closer to her allowing their arms to press against each other. He smiled at her once again, letting a hand drift over her cheek lightly.

Cait smiled brightly at the soulstealer after he kissed her, growing more used to the contact between them. She was growing more comfortable around the soulstealer, despite that she wasn't quite sure exactly what he was. She just merely chalked it up to another being, similar to what she did with her brother.
"I'm fine, Tye," she said, reassuring him with a small touch to his arm. The girl rarely ever complained about her situation, unless of course, it involved the priests, but so far there had been no cause for alarm on her part because there was a lack of priests in the Swamplands.

“If you are sure,” the soulstealer said with a smile, running a hand through her hair as he watched her a bit more. He couldn’t help but to lean in once more and kiss her lips again. When he pulled away from her lips, his eyes studied her closely.
“Will you allow me to paint a portrait of you, Caitlyin?” he asked her gently. He was unsure of how she would take the question. Tyebolt really wanted to paint a picture of the girl, though. He wanted to capture that beauty that she only possessed.

Caitlyin blushed slightly as she looked at him curiously, her head tilted to the side. She chewed her lower lip for a minute, dropping her gaze to her lap before she nodded. "Okay," she said, giving him a small smile.
She really didn't have much experience with the 'finer' things in life, so she was surprised that he would even want to paint her, she thought he only painted pretty things. It wasn't to say she didn't think she wasn't pretty, she was rather unaware of how she looked much of the time, and didn't quite know how to take it.

Tyebolt grinned and leaned over and kissed the girl’s cheek. “Then, I shall paint your portrait. If you want, we can pretty you up, but I feel as though there is no need for that. You are already so very beautiful, Caitlyin.”
The soulstealer smiled, standing up and stretching out his arms and then his legs. He was hoping that she would be interested and getting painted now. If she wanted to wait, they could. He had no problems with either of the decisions. It was all up to the human girl and really not him.
