[Lila Leigh]

One, two, three... A figured was hoping on small rocks that were randomly placed around the swamp land. She was light on her feat, her silver hair, dancing about in the randomly speckled sunlight patches. She wore light clothing; a tight red long sleeve occupined by some kahki shorts. An odd combo, but her silver hair matched the red. The soulstealer was happy, even though she was on a mission, but only a slight one really. She already knew where he was, about a mile or so ahead, that it wouldn't be too hard. So Lila continued her little hopping until she reached solid ground. She hadn't brought her sword with her as she zoomed through the forest and was lucky enough to be quick enough so she wasn't trapped in the random patches of quicksand. She suddenly came to a quick stop, and ran up the tree without a sound. She settled herself on the branch that was perfectly covered with leaves, and began to watch her target with a smile on her face. He was walking around, with quite an ancious look on his face, as if he was being followed. Well of course he was, but Lila grinned more as he hadn't realized that he had been caught. This man ran into the swamp trying to confuse his pusor but that wouldn't work on her. His gaze switched from left to right, trying to look around but his eyes wouldn't let him see very far. With a subtle rustle of leaves, a small knife was thrown from the tree, stabbing the man right into the side of his neck. Lila giggled and jumped down from the tree. Oddly enough, today was going oh so well for her. She walked toward the man, and turned him over as he had falled on his stomach. She gave a moment to look at his face, which was still posed with worry, and then quickly withdrew her small dagger. Lila wipped it on the ground, clearing most of the blood away and then secured back in her pocket. She wondered what else would happen today as she turned around and began to walk the way she had came.

[Reno]

Reno couldn’t help but stiffle a laugh at the anxious little killer up in the tree tops. Watching Lila’s ever move with a studying calculation as to what it was she would do next. The Vampire had not been stalking her, rather going for his midnight strolls to the most odd places, and had caught glimpse of her. She was crouched and ready for anything, he decided to leave her alone lest he accidentally be killed by her jittery nature. As she cleaned her blade off and turned to start walking, Reno moved out of the shadows to lean against a tree in front of her sight.

His hands were quite busy as he juggled three items aimlessly, eyes staring directly to her. “What are you doing here SoulSucker.. And by the way that kill of yours was rather clumsy. I could have killed you thrice by now. Such a woman you are..” His voice was slick with amusement in her mind as he rolled his eyes at her, gaze moving to look up at the sky which was just a haze before bringing his attention back to her slowly.

The smell and murkiness of the swamp was quite irritating to most, Reno decided he enjoyed it for the mere fact he had no idea what would be around any corner. That and he could be around here usually on his own, just like the forest when he ran into that rude, rude human thing. Ugh. That was just a mess. She was no fun at all. Guess that was why Reno rarely liked to play with his food. It always was so disappointing. Anyways, back on track.

He definitely did not expect to see little miss confusing Lila, it had been quite sometime since he had ran into her before.. Quite some time indeed. Not that he had not thought of her at all, because he truly did, but he would not let her know that. Over his lips was the smallest of smirks, one eyebrow arched as he continued his juggling trick. He purposefully attempted to irritate her right off the start, especially by speaking to her in her mind rather then with words. Reno did not fail to notice how annoyed she got when he did that too her.

[Lila Leigh]

Somewhere, off in the distant, a distinct bird cry was audible. It rang through the trees and reached Lila's ears as her eyes focused on the dark figure. Her smile disappeared, only to be replaced with a confused look, but that just lasted for a second. His voice slipped into her mind, which made her glare. She had stopped moving, her eyes still locked on him. Then realizing that he wouldn't go away no matter how hard she tried to glare at him, began to walk again. But this time she had turned around and grabbed the dead man's foot. As Lila turned back around, she locked her grey eyes with his own. It was too dark to tell if he had red pools, or just the black ones."Oh, I'm sorry. I hadn't realized that you had purchased the swamps. t does seem to suit your personality though; dirty and useless until a the moment is needed." Lila felt like she was being unruly mean right now, but she didn't care at the moment. As she walked past Reno, she didn't bother to keep her eye contact, but rather walked until she was at the swamps edge. With her strength, she tossed the dead body into the lake, and watched the plashes of water pop up into the air. Then she turned around and walked back towReno. She leaned against a tree thta was opposite of him. giving herself a good amount of distance from him."What do you want Reno?" Her eyes followed the juggling act, giving it a confused look, but then returned his gaze after a second.

[Reno]

” I was just trying to get some alone time.. But this is even better.” His eyes watched her as she continued to walk, taking a look over her frame as her back was turned to him. A slow grin crept over his face before he turned and began walking along with her, eyes sparkling slightly. “ I Want to play a game with you.. His voice was in her head again. The Vampire noticed she had put the body into the swamp, it’s carcass slowly disappearing into the abyss probably to be eaten up by some monster or something.

The Vampire watched the swamp for a moment before bringing his attention back to the soul stealer. Amusement dancing over his usually placid features as he watched her awaiting a reply. Reno found her ever so interesting, almost a little too much. He had to be careful though, interest can turn into a liking or friendship and he could not have that at all. After all, Friends were only there to betray one, and they always stole all a vampires fun away. Which was not cool. He abruptly stopped juggling as he held them in his hands before pocketing them into his long black trenchcoat.

[Lila Leigh]

The swamp seemed to be oddly quiet, except for the usual cricket sound, probably interested into talking with one and another . However, Lila wasn't interested with talking to Reno. A glare was given to him as his voice rang in her head again. She slowly grew to hate him every time he did that. What happened to the day? Why did it have to turn so sour? "Well, that's just too bad. I don't." She gave him a smirk before she moved toward the swamp once more. She stopped just before the water touched her toes. Her eyes were on the rock about a foot and a half away, and then she jumped. Lila landed gracefully on the small rock which barely held both feet. The water underneath her was muggy, hiding the mystery which lay beneath. The smell from the water was more pudgent here, but she just reacted like she didn't smell anything terrible, and turned around."I concur, this is better. Goodbye Reno." Lila winked and turned around. She eyed the next rock and then jumped once more. She made it beautifully, but there were still 3 steps left before she reached the other side.

[Reno]

Reno watched her walk away from him and a frown came across his lips. But he wanted to play with her, and why wouldn’t she want to entertain him? That was not very nice of her. His brows furrowed before he watched her go into the middle of the walkway of rocks, the swamp stirring beneath her before he chuckled to himself. His juggling balls gripped into his hand. The balls were full of heavy almost metal, and definitely had a punch to it. He remember when he killed that assasin with a simple toss, ah to have vampiric strength was a lovely thing.

His hand tensed before he tossed the ball at her leg to try and knock her off balance. Jumping and landing on the rock in front of her with his strength to hop right over her and block her way completely. Hand reaching out to nudge her to try to get her to fall into the swamp. “But I want to play, let us play Lila. You do not want to play?” His eyes were flashed red with hunger, what she could not see previously. The monster of a vampire inside him showing through as he tried to nudge her back towards the swamp. “I didn’t say you could leave, now did I?”

[Lila Leigh]

Lila thought that her actions were pretty risky, considering Reno and all. She only knew him for possibly and hour or maybe 2, but it wasn't hard to realize his general personality. As Lila kept her back toward her, a chill was rising up her neck. She had this feeling often, but only during serious moments, so Lila immediately turned around only to have a peircing senations start at her leg to her whole body. She cried out softly and fell to one knee. She barely was able to stay on the rock, but her eyes were kept down, looking at the merky water. Her eyes shifted up to see Reno wasn't in the spot she last saw him and quickly got up. Her left leg surged with pain once more, but she tried to ignore it. However, when she did, her balance was lost because Reno pushed her off the little space there was on the stepping rock. She cried out as she fell backwards into the swamp. The sounds around her were quiet all so quickly, her eyes opened wide. She couldn't see anything but she swam quickly to the surface. As she reached the top, Lila took a deep breath of fresh air and was greatful that the previous rock before she fell was right next to her. Lila pulled herself up and coughed some. She stood up, drenched, and her hair in her eyes, but a glare was present on her face. It read hatred. Death. Pure homocide. "You fucking asshole!" She couldn't take her eyes off of his, but the glare never left her face. She was pissed. She was beyond pissed. Lila would slice his throat without hesitation the next time he even got a tad close to her.

[Reno]

Reno watched the entire spectacle before she splashed right into the swamp. A frown playing on his lips as he looked down to see a speckle of the swamp water was on his jacket, brows furrowing together. His hand moved to brush it off only to fail, about to get upset before the splashing continued. Eyes rose to look at her sputtering and hanging onto the rock, absolutely drenched and looked rather shaken. The sight of her was so amusing he burst out into hysterical laughter. His hand slapping his knee as he almost fell off the rock himself before straightening himself up.

Clearing his throat the vampire tried to stop laughing, stifling the sound slightly behind a fisted hand. The hatred in her eyes made it so it was impossible for him to not smile towards her . “Oh soulsucker! That was quite lavish indeed. Now I definitely do not want to take a chomp out of your behind.” He chuckled again before hopping to the rock that was nearest her, and the onto hers. “It’s just water. It’s not like I tried to kill you at all, It was just a game for my amusement. No need to be so angry with me. You really should be more careful my love..” The words ‘my love’ rolled off his tongue, in regards to her falling into the water, before he left her.

One on the other side of the swamp abruptly he turned and looked over his shoulder at her to study where she was. “I Would help you but something tells me you may slice my throat, So instead I bid you adieu. Perhaps we can play another game later, yes? ” His bright red eyes flashed at her with amusement, the slightest quirk on his lip. His torso bending in the slightest of bows, but not letting his eyes leave the delicate Lila before he started walking away whistling with his hands locked behind his back. Hearing completely on her for any movement she may make, so he would know when she left the pond. Crap. Now he has to get his coat washed.

She was soaked and he was over there laughing at her! Her anger only grew as she watched him. Lila's hair was a mess as well, some of her bangs hanging in her face while others stayed to the side. Her red long sleeve was now practically see through as her khaki shorts just seemed to darken in color. She didn't care about any of that right now, her eyes just followed his movements as he got closer to her. However, when he actually did, it was a bit too close, so she listened patiently, and rolled her eyes at his comment. His charm completely lost its effect on her since the beginning of this little encounter. Lila turned around and followed with her eyes until he said goodbye and started to walk away. Lila glared and quickly took her small dagger from her pocket and threw it at him. It was aimed for arm, but she figured that he would probably doge before it struck him. Anyway, this gained Lila some time to jump to the next rock, then land. Her leg pain started up again as she jumped about, but she didn't let herself waver. "You can't just push me into the damn water and then walk away! You stupid blood sucker!"

[Reno]

Reno continued whistling as he heard the wind speed up before his eyes looked beside him, peripheral vision seeing the dagger. He stopped and turned to face her, his hand raising as he caught the blade between his thumb and forefinger with pure amusement. He glanced down and grabbed it by the handle, seeing the slight trickle of blood with a frown. Damn, that was not supposed to happen, apparently he was not focused right then. Damn her. He shook his head though, showing no frustrations as his eyes calmly looked at her, the red lightening ever so slightly. Eyes glancing at her see through shirt with the smallest of smirks before she jumped onto solid ground.

Her words had him give a slight laugh. “Oh but that is exactly what I’m going to do. You are no fun. No fun at all. Besides, you got some swamp water on my jacket..” There was a teasing tone to his voice as he looked at her, brow raising ever so slightly. He was really pushing her buttons, and perhaps too far. But what did he care? Right? His lips twitched into a quick frown before returning at the thought. He didn’t. Pushing his thoughts away he turned and began to walk away again, the whistling returning as he slid the dagger she had tossed at him into his pocket.

The swamp seemed to growing in noise, which didn't help Lila cool down none. She continued to glare as he turned around, her knife still in his hand. She didn't except it to actually do anything, just to get his attention."How the hell could I be any fun when you push someone into the water?!" His logic made absolutely no sense to Lila so she stood there, with her soaked clothes and all. However her leg started to hurt a lot, so she grumbled to herself and kneeled down. She whispered a spell, and her leg began to heal with white magic. She sighed after a second, feeling the pain lift from her body. Feeling rejuvenated, Lila got a mischievous look in her eyes as she watched him walk away. She quickly picked up the quite small fold up knife she had in her shoe, which was usually just to cut fruit or whatever. She unfolded it and cut her sleeves until they were at his shoulder. She felt that it was slowing her down, so once it was down, she kept it in her hand as she dashed off toward the bloodsucker. She stopped behind him, pressing her cold and wet body against his. She held the small knife against his throat, while the other held his shoulder."You now owe me two fucking shirts and a some pants. It's not fun when my clothes get ruined thank you." Lila pressed the small knife hard on his neck, and she could feel that she opened some skin, but personally, she didn't give a shit about his damn jacket. He seriously pissed her off.

[Reno]

Her first comment went un acknowledged as he wandered some more, that was until suddenly a prick on his throat caused him to completely halt. Right eyebrow quirking upwards ever so slightly at the feeling of blood trickling down his neck, just the slightest amount. So apparently she did have guts after all, which was definitely surprising. His hand moved up and cold fingers wrapped around her wrist slowly, squeezing ever so slightly before pushing her hand a tad bit away. His body turning in her grip to face her rather suddenly, the blade slicing against his skin a bit more but he completely ignored it. There was no pain, so there was no worry over such a small thing. The blade was too petite to do anything, anyways.

“If you would accompany me to my quarters, I could indulge you in more then just two shirts and a pair of pants.” The red was completely out of his eyes and he looked rather innocent abruptly. Well as innocent as a vampire could be. As if the previous actions he had done were wiped from his memory, he had a small smile and teasing lilt to his tone of voice. A slight purr being heard as he looked from her eyes down to her see through shirt and back again. “I will promise not to read your mind while your writhing around in ecstacy on my bed with no control..” He leaned closer to her as his eyes returned to hers. Amusement returning to his voice as he gave her a playful wink.

Reno's reaction was a surprise to Lila. She hadn't thought that he wouldn't have struck her or something along that nature, especially for putting the knife to his throat. However, once he turned around to face her, the wound she had made was practically gone. Lila folded up the small knife, figuring that it wouldn't do much good. She sublte put it in her pocket and stared at him as he was dreadfully close to her. She held her ground, however, and looked him straight in the eyes. When he spoke though, Lila backed up only a tiny bit and glared at him again."Can't you even listen to yourself? I'm not some human bitch that you could easily pick up." Lila didn't find the use for swearing much, but she was mad, and it seemed quite fair. Lila didn't except to actually receive anything back for the things he owed her, but she was in no mood to try and get seduced, let alone charmed into getting laid. He would have to try harder. A lot harder. "Is that all you even care about?"

[Reno]

Amusement danced in his eyes as she seemed to get even more angry with him. He did not know why, but it was the most entertaining thing, that was until the end of her little speech where his brows drew together and he stared at her. It was true, she was not some human weakling he could just walk into and screw then kill. No. And apparently she was not just some soulsucker weakling he could just walk into and screw. Or at least that was what she believed. He studied her expression before sighing at her, eyes dropping to look at the space between them before shrugging “Nope. Not all I care about..” He paused for a moment too long, something form of emotion in his eyes before he turned away and starting to walk, pausing only a moment to look back at her. The emotion completely gone and instead an amusing smile crossing his face, white fangs flashing towards her. “I also care about eating.”

The way vampires reacted seemed to confuse Lila greatly. Or, it might just be Reno that was difficult to understand. Either way, she didn't feel like going in depth over this thought and brought herself back to the matter at hand. Ok, so he wasn't as deranged as she thought, but she shouldn't actually be judging. However, she didn't care as she watched him turn around. After pushing her in the water, having a prick on his neck, and getting yelled at, all Reno did was walk away. She gave him a slightly confused look as he turned around and looked at her with his fangs. She gave a dull look his way, thinking that he must not be as interesting as she first though.Lila felt no need to say good bye. She sighed to herself, looking down at her wet clothes and grimaced. She might as well go somewhere she could get them to dry off. Forgetting about Reno, Lila turned around and headed the opposite way he was going, not quite sure where to exactly, but that didn't exactly bother her at the moment.
