Appearance:He's tall for a human, around six and a half feet tall. Has dark blue eyes and black hair. He lacks sight in his right eye due to an injury as a child and has a long scar dipping into his hair line. He keeps his hair short because he doesn't want to deal with a matted tangled mess.
Personality:He's a dreamer, all of his life he has longed for adventure, but has lived a dull mundane life. He gets through day by day grudgingly accepting his existence. He's a quite man, he speaks only when he needs to. He spends a great deal of time in the forest and has few friends. The only friend who has truly stuck around has been his faithful dog Roogle, who has managed to live far past his life expectancy.
History:Lief was born to a farming family, he lived a happy child hood but always looked ahead to a brighter, more exciting future he was Given Roogle at his fifth birthday. At the age of six he lost the use of his right eye in an incident with a wild boar. He went to school until the age of sixteen when he left to join the military. They told him he could be nothing more than a cook, for he needed his right eye. Upset by this he traveled to the Zyabeth forest where he signed on to a logging crew. He stayed there for several years, Roogle being his only real friend. The other loggers looked down upon him for the lack of an eye and that in poker he could memorize the deck and had a tendency to take all of their money.
As time wore on years passed and he set off to find his own way in the world. Away from the loggers, away from people in general. But he quickly realized that he was just avoiding society because he felt he couldn't find his place. He felt restless in every position he had attempted to fill.
He now sits in his home not far from Temarra, he ventures to the city regularly in hopes that he will find himself in a position where he can finally fill his dream of adventure.
