After three hundred years of peace, something dark floats among the people of Yviex. Hatred has started to fill the hearts of many. Past struggles among races seem to erupt in sudden outbursts.
What is the cause of this disturbance? Many people from the realm are trying to find out what is causing all of this spontaneous hatred. Many people also want to put a name on the evil that has started to stir up battles among races. Many seek answers to why the world around them is becoming plagued with fighting and bloodshed once again. Yet, none have seemed to be able to place a name or face upon what is stirring up the people to act irrationally.
Many claim to have seen a dark mist afloat around some of the cities. Others claim to see a pure black figure outside of their doors at night that brings dark omens. There is no evidence to these claims of these dark phantoms. There are only claims and stories to go off of, and claims and stories will not be enough to find out what is truly causing the hatred.
Some races are very concerned about this change, while others are welcoming the disturbances of the peace. There are still many who believe the peace was a terrible idea for the world of Yviex. Many are counting down the days before the wars sweep back over the lands and slavery will be back in circulation. Others are very afraid of losing the peace they have come so accustom to.
Villagers find themselves bickering with one another about the changes of Yviex. This bickering leads to the fights that have been seen in all of the cities of the lands. The arguments start with the issue of peace lasting versus the peace ending, and they usually end with some form of physical violence.
Conflicts between nations have started to occur as well. Leaders seem quick to snap at each other even over friendly meetings. Many see war on the horizon for nations who have been at peace with each other, who have been so pleasant with handling affairs with each other. Some of the nations have even started to prepare for war in case these conflicts lead to such a thing.
What will happen to the land of Yviex? Will wars blaze up once more upon these beautiful lands that have no seen bloodshed for over three hundred years? Will someone be able to stop the evil that floats upon the people of Yviex?
The future is uncertain for this world. The people may go back to their hateful ways that only promised the destruction of Yviex. Whatever may be the ending result of Yviex, heroes will be made, villains will be created, and destinies will be fulfilled.
The fate of Yviex lies in the hands of the people.
