The day was cold. Snow fell from the sky in flutters of white. Winter was quickly sweeping over the mountains in beautiful, breathtaking sights. The snow was light diamonds as they shimmered in the light of the day. Even with the overcast sky, the sight was dazzling. Of course, no snow here could compare to the Forsaken Lands, but the mountains held their own beauty. Especially where the Zyabeth Forest merged with the Stroikara Mountains.
The necromancer Ayvajin had been traveling for a while. She was heading up to the mountain city of Abourno, but her journey was only half way over. She had just passed through the wilderness of the forest and had reached the foot of the first mountain she had come across. Now came the harder parts of her travels. She was use to the plains and the forest. They were not hard to travel over and through. The mountains, however, were rugged and the folk who took up residency here were even tougher.
Ayvajin had ran into many a troll in her journeys. Though some of them could be quite pleasant, the ones she usually found herself around were perverts, rough-housers, and bone crushers. If they were not trying to make a pass at her, then they were trying to rough her a bit. If they were neither of those, well, then they were trying to kill her for their own pleasure. She had nothing against the troll, but this did not help that they still were full of brute strength.
If it was not trolls, well, then it was beasts. Chimeras and dragons were bigger rivals than most of the other creatures. She worried about running into a dragon, though, more than a chimera. She was able to communicate and calm most dragons before they had a chance to strike out in rage at the young necromancer. Luckily, today, Ayvajin had not run into any trouble yet, and she was grateful for this.
Prints in the snow followed behind the necromancer. She was wearing a white coat made out of fur. Upon her back was a bag that carried the things she needed to survive her journey. Her sword was also upon her back as well. On her feet, she wore black boots that were doing a great job of keeping her feet warm and dry. She had fixed up her hair in a long braid that now danged out from her hood.
Icy blue eyes looked over the terrain that stretched out in front of the Ayvajin. A sigh passed through her lips, steam floating upward from her. The journey seemed long when she was alone. She only had her thoughts to preoccupy herself with.

The King of the Incubi had decided to make it a game, following her along to see if she would notice. Of course, he would protect her from whatever beasties may emerge, but he was keeping himself hidden for his own personal amusement.
He was in a rather playful mood at the moment and decided to throw a snowball at her, hitting her on the shoulder as he sat on a boulder out of sight, grinning. He was dressed for the weather as well, but his clothes were dark, blending in with the mountains. His body temperature was also up, a sign he was always around as his breath came out in white puffs.

Ayvajin startled slightly as she felt a snowball hit her shoulder. She looked around, trying to figure out who had thrown the snowball at her. She could not see anyone in the glare of the snow. Great… That only meant that someone was watching her, and she could not see them herself.
With a sigh, the necromancer continued to tread through the deep snow. Most of the snow was already clumped together and crashed beneath her feet with every step. If she had to run, she’d have quite a difficult time doing so. Her bags weighed her down and the snow made her travel slow. Whoever was there, she hoped, only was toying with her for amusement and not to start some sort of fight.

Lucien whistled, moving closer until he tossed another snowball, this time sitting on boulders just above her, packing together another snowball in his hands as he watched her, amusement dancing in his dark eyes. He hadn't bothered her like this in a while, so he thought he may as well, seeing as he was rather fond of her and loved her.
And of course, he did have a few ulterior motives for wanting to be around her, but those could wait, he thought as he tossed the snowball up in the air, having it land right in front of the necromancer. He laughed silently, his shoulders shaking with the playfulness that was dancing around him, coming off in waves.

The necromancer made a few quick movements as she looked around her at her surroundings as if trying to spot the person who was trying to mess with her. When the snowball landed in front of her, her head jerked upward and her eyes scanned the area above her. She caught sight of Lucien or more like she felt his presence there. The necromancer shook her head as a smile formed over her lips.
“Having fun?” Ayvajin questioned. She could not be angry with the incubus. She loved him too much to even be slightly annoyed with his antics. “Why do you not come down here and tease me instead of just throwing snowballs at me?”

"I am indeed having fun," he said as he moved down to stand on the path in front of her. The moment his feet touched the ground, he drew her into a kiss, stealing her breath and sending her thoughts spinning before he released her, a loving smile on his lips as his thumb stroked her cheek.
"And besides, it's been a while since I've played in the snow, care to join me?" he asked as he leaned in for another kiss, cradling her to him as if she were made of glass and was going to break. When he released her, he fixed her with a dazzling grin before kissing her forehead.

Ayvajin could not help but smile. Her face warmed with delight and her cheeks redden. She could not deny him the spell he had casted upon her. His touches brought out that delightfulness only children knew. He made her utterly happy.
“Maybe after a while I will play with you in the snow,” the necromancer said. “At the moment, I am looking for a place a little while up the mountain to make camp at. There is an abandoned cabin a little while from here. It would be nice to reach it before night falls upon the land.”
She thought for a moment, before giving another smile. “Of course, if you would like, you could take us there so I can get the place adjusted and then we can play in the snow, my dear Lucien.”

Lucien chuckled, pulling her into his arms as he kissed her again. "I think you just like me holding you and keeping you warm, my little necromancer," he said, his wings expanding from his back. "So yes, I will take you there. All you really have to do is ask," he said, nuzzling his nose against hers.
He gathered her into his arms and took off, holding her close until he found the cabin she was speaking of. Descending in a lazy spiral, he finally settled down and set her on her feet gently, moving back so she could do she needed to.

“Thank you, dearest,” Ayvajin said with a cute little smile before giving a cute little kiss upon the incubus’s cheek. She gave a laugh before moving away and entering the cabin. She sat her bags and her sword down upon the ground before moving over to the fireplace. Lucky for her, there were a few logs stacked beside the fireplace. She simply put the firewood into the fireplace and used some of her fire magic to start up a fire. The fire quickly warmed the small cabin up, and a smile of satisfaction spread over the necromancer’s lips.
Ayvajin moved away and walked over to the only bed in the cabin. She cleared it of any dust that she could see before moving over to her bags and taking out two fur covers. One to lay on and one to use to keep warm. It was a mystery how the necromancer had the capability to pack such things into her bags and then to carry them upon her back for miles on in.
She fixed up the bed, wanting to make sure everything was laid out before deciding to give her attention back to the incubus. She thought if they were to play around in the snow, she would have the cabin warmed and ready for them once they were done.

Lucien in the meanwhile had decided to hang out outside and build himself a snowman. Of course, this would be no ordinary snowman, instead a large one that was about as big as he was. He was currently working on the second tier of the snowman, hands moving and rolling the snow together to make it, laughing lightly to himself.
He had an arsenal of snowballs prepared as well for when the necromancer walked out of the cabin again. He perked up when she exited, hand reaching down and lobbing a snowball at her, hitting her in the chest. He had a boyish grin on his features as he watched her. "Bulls-eye," he called out.

Ayvajin gave a laugh, shaking her head a bit. “It was more like a cheap shot,” she said, laughter dripping from her voice. The necromancer quickly moved away after her words, knowing that there would be more snowballs to follow. She was onto the incubus’s game. She leaned down in a quick movement and picked up a pile of snow and bunched it up into a ball. She threw it, watching as it someone grazed Lucien’s arm.
The necromancer would admit she was out of practice with this sort of thing. She had not messed around in the snow in a long, long time. She couldn’t even remember the last time she had picked up snow to actually throw at someone in a playful gesture.

Lucien laughed, tossing another snowball, hitting her shoulder before he darted around, taking cover behind his half formed gargantuan snowman. He grinned, suddenly taking off and landing on the roof in a blur of movement, cheating slightly as he crept along the roof and followed her, keeping low with his movements and looking somewhat like a spider.
He packed together another snowball, throwing it at her and purposefully missing, splatting into one of the trees before he ducked back down, keeping out of sight as he stalked her with the grace of a mountain lion. Or so he thought until he stepped wrong and slid off the roof into a snowdrift.

The necromancer broke out in laughter as she saw him fell from the roof into a snowdrift. If he had been a normal man, Ayvajin would have worried about him hurting himself, but Lucien being the king of the incubi, she knew that he was fine.
Gathering up some snow in her hands and rolling it into a ball, she quickly ran forward and stared down at the incubus. Her hand was held up as though she was about to throw the snowball at the fallen Lucien. Well, she would throw it at him if he didn’t…
“Surrender or feel my wrath!” came the necromancer cry, laughter clinging to her words.

Lucien grinned as his arms snaked up around her and tugged her down to him, moving so she was pinned underneath him. "I think you should surrender since you're my captive," he said against her lips, kissing her lips before moving back to nip at her ear.
He grinned, his hands wandering down over her sides as he straddled her, effectively pinning her in the snow with a predatory grin before kissing her again. He nudged the collar of her coat open before moving in and kissing and nipping her neck, knowing exactly where to touch to get the best reactions from her.

Ayvajin could not help but laugh and try to fight off the incubus even with his touches to her neck. Here they were again. He was upon her once more, playing her body as if she were an instrument he had mastered. His fingers knew exactly where to touch her, and his lips knew exactly how to kiss her.
“Awe, no fair,” the necromancer said, finding herself succumbing to the incubus. “I was about to win that match, too. You cheat dear, Lucien. You cheat.”
A smile slipped across her lips, controlling the moans that were slowly trying to roll out of her lips. She tried desperately to appear as though she had control over this situation, but she did not. Lucien was the stronger. He was the one she would allow to take control over her.

Lucien chuckled as he nuzzled her nose with his, kissing her lips briefly. "All's fair in love and war, darling," he said before he moved back, pulling her up with him. He swept her into his arms, carrying her like she belonged there before making their way back into the cabin.
He set her down on her feet before making his winter clothes disappear and leaving him in a shirt and pants. He turned back to the necromancer, kissing her fully as his hands cradled her face. He pushed her hood off, removing her jacked as he pulled her to him, bringing their bodies into flush contact.

The necromancer let out a surprised breath, feeling Lucien’s body close up to hers once more. Ayvajin pressed up quick to the incubus, kissing his lips hungrily. Her hands moved up against his chest, feeling the details of his muscles underneath the cloth. Her hands slowly moved back down, taking hold of the bottom of the incubus’s shirt.
“We have played in the snow and now you must warm me back up,” she said softly, her eyes taking in his own. She gave a slight, almost nervous smile. It had been a long while since they had been like this, since he had laid her down and bedded her.

"That I can do rather well," he said as he dropped his head to kiss her, picking her up and carrying her over to the bed. He lay her down, stripping off her boots before letting his hands wander up her legs, moving slowly as he teased her.
He moved his fingers along the gap between her shirt and pants, hands teasing the skin there before he removed her shirt in one quick motion. Settling on top of her, he kissed her lips again before slowly working his way down her body, paying attention to the areas he knew made her writhe and moan.
His hands wandered down and divested her of her pants, fingers teasing and exploring before he moved and removed his own clothing.

Lucien grinned as he pulled the necromancer in next to him, cradling her body against his as they lay there in the afterglow and warmth. "Did that work, or do I need to do it again?" he asked, tracing a hand down her body.

Ayvajin smiled, relaxing against the incubus. “Maybe in a while you can do that again,” she said before giving a quick yawn. She was now warm and comfortable, laying against Lucien beneath the blanket of fur. She really did not know how she had gone for such a long while without seeing the incubus and laying with him. The necromancer was happy, though, that now they had this time together.
“I am glad that you are here with me now, Lucien,” she said gently, leaning up and kissing his lips again. She smiled once more. “I hope I am still able to keep your interests.”

"You always are," he said, kissing her as he held her close to him, kissing her cheek. "I love you, but there have been some rather unruly persons lately," he said, settling down with her against him.
He had been dealing with a few scheming and plotting Incubi who wanted to start their own colony for whatever reason and undermine his authority. Such were the trials and tribulations of being a king. He sighed lightly, pulling her tightly to him, kissing her cheek and wanting to just lay here and not worry about anything for the time being.
Which he decided he would, and he had his own motive as well, but that would come later.
