"I'm fine," she assured as she waved him off, climbing to her feet and dusting herself off. Her nose crinkled at the grass stain on the hip she'd fallen on, but shrugged it off a second later; it was just a dress. "Worse has happened to me. I think getting light-headed and fainting is better then getting stabbed in the stomach, anyways." She just wished that no one had been around to watch her fall over. While she was grateful to him for caring, she really would have been alright eventually; no need to get all worried about it.

Alehkar nodded and backed away a bit as she waved him away, biting on his lower lip a bit awkwardly . Brows furrowing at her statement as he couldn’t help but look at her abdomen where she explained getting stabbed. He was a Daemon, and he could not help but worry, but he would keep it to himself, as well as keep his distance. She was intriguing, that was for sure. “Why were you stabbed in the stomach?” To be honest, the daemon was a bit nervous about the answer or really talking to her. The stories from others in Abourno about the maji were not the nicest stories, not that he would base his opinions on her from them.. But one could not help be curious as to when his head would get ripped off. At the thought a small smirk came to his features as one eyebrow rose up slightly. “You are not very scary you know..” He mumbled it under his breath with slight amusement.

"Believe me, I'm terrifying," she replied, examining her nails. The cold smile she gave him illustrated the extent of her supposed cruelty and she reached out to poke him in the chest, just above his heart. "I could stop your heart right now just by touching you. No words of power or anything." The silence stretched on between them for several seconds before she let her hand and the smile drop. "I was jumped in Bellevin," she explained with the usual dull expression, shrugging as if it were nothing. "I believe they'd intended to sell me in the Black Market to a brothel. Shocked the hell out of them when I fought back, so they stabbed me. Summoned a bit of lightning to get them back."

Alehkar just let his eyes drop as she poked him in the chest, both brows raising at her words before bringing his eyes back to hers in silence. Instead of fear or nervousness, her was oddly interested and curious. Leaning forwards a bit as she continued to speak, tilting his head to the side to study her reactions to her story. “I do not find you terrifying. How would you kill me with just a touch? “ The way she explained how she got stabbed made him cringe slightly at the mere thought. Scum. They deserved anything that they did, so no comment was made towards that. And if she was trying to scare him, he was to naïve to notice, and too interested to care. Which could be stupid.

Elysia tapped him on the head this time, a tiny spark of electricity flowing through her finger and through his hair. It frizzed instantly. "You ought to be. I could kill you right now if I wanted," she replied with a slow, teasing smile, finger sliding down his nose and over his lips seductively. She could see the curiousity in his eyes, the need to find out more, and it amused her; enough to play with him just a little. Although that would be just as far as she would go, she needed to have fun somehow. Too many people were scared of her, so this was slightly refreshing.

It felt like static electricity as she touched his hair, a slight spark zapping to him. A frown coming to his lips as he pushed his hand through his hair, frown remaining at her finger moving down his nose and lips. He leaned away from her a little bit, not out of fear of her words but more of awkwardness from her action. “I’m not scared of you. I mean. You have not killed me yet, and if you do I’ll just die. Which I must say will not be fun, but I would have no choice either way so theres no point in being scared. I’m more interested in talking toyou, as I’d rather do that then talk to anyone within Abourno.” He shrugged as he looked down at the ground, a bit more awkward. Perhaps he was just too stupid to be scared, but either way he did not believe in evil for no other purpose then for enjoyment. And he would give her the benefit of the doubt.

"I won't kill you," she promised, frowning when he leaned back from her touch. Shrugging, she let her hand drop to her side and watched him curiously. "And I have to agree that I am far more interesting then any of the bird brains here in Abourno. I can't understand how you can stand living here when I don't, and I still want to leave." Although that may be in part due to the fact that Queenie had attacked her after making unreasonable demands, but that was besides the fact. Elysia hadn't even wanted to be an embassador in the first place.

Alehkar let a slight laugh escape his lips, eyes sparkling in amusement at her first word. If he was smart, he would see she was being serious, but even then it was amusing. He bit his lower lip slightly as she frowned when he leaned away from her, but didn’t comment or anything, it seemed to just be a brief reaction to him. It was her next question that had a frown come to his lips in thought, eyes downcasting for a minute as he thought of Abourno. The only reason this was his home is due to circumstances, and he just never really left. But did he enjoy it here? Definitely not. After spending years locked to himself in his own home, he had finally ventured out and the first thing he wanted to do was run away. Which was what he was doing, exploring, but of course he had to come back for personal reasons. It was not as though he wished to stay much longer. “Actually.. I do not like it much here. I leave whenever possible. If I cannot leave I come here, as it is quiet away from everyone. Where are you from?” his frown cleared from his face as a small goofy smile came across his lips. Obviously he does not know much information about her, nor listened to any rumors. "If you would like, we can leave here.." He added, a little more quietly in response to her previous statement about still wanting to leave.

Elysia watched the play of emotions across his face with quiet, intelligent eyes, nibbling on her lip thoughtfully as she processed the meaning behind them and his words. It was times such as these that gave her true age away-times when she acted like the wise ancient who had the answers for most things and helped the young ones find the rest when she didn't. "Then why don't you just leave and never come back?" she asked almost childishly, ignoring his offer to go back and determined to get to the bottom of this. "I can't leave Temarra because of my duties, but you can bet I would if I could and never come back. You don't seem to have the same limitations I do if you come and go as you please."
She failed to tell him that her real home had rotted away into obscurity thousands of years ago, leaving her the sole survivor and witness to their cruelty upon finding out she was different. While sometimes she missed the feeling of security she'd had before the discovery of her powers, she tried not to think about it. Elysia had been dead to them before they'd been dead to her and found it ironic that she was still alive at all sometimes.
