Talme had been walking in the mountains for days, without any regard for the fact that he was walking through some of the most rugged terrain in the world. Now, some people might have called him insane if they had known he was blind (something that was made fairly obvious through the fact that he covered his eyes with bandages), but he was really quite at home in the mountains; everything was made from rock and stone, elements that he had almost no difficulty 'seeing' through his Magick. In fact, it was likely that he could maneuver better than most people could in the mountains, because he could see through the rock and pick out paths that lead safely through the dangerous terrain. Although, on this one particular day, Talme was not exactly having a field day of fun.
He glanced back over his shoulder at the jagged rocks and boulders behind him. A cliff face to his right, and a flattened ledge spanning meters around him - on a normal day he wouldn't be so bloody paranoid. Today was far from normal however, since it's not everyday that one gets hunted by the mountains inhabitants. In this case, several hobgoblins had been following him all day - considering him an easy target as he made his way slowly but surely through the mountains. To the hobgoblins, he looked like easy prey. Talme snorted. Him? Easy? He sincerely hoped they held back on their plans to eat him for supper, he didn't feel like splattering the pack across the rocks around him - it might dampen his ability to find his way through the terrain. He snickered slightly, as the one of the hobgoblins lifted a boulder above it's head, as it stood on the cliff face above him, a simple shove and the boulder was thrust powerfully away from the cliff in thanks to the goblins strong muscles. silently, the boulder fell; yet Talme saw it perfectly. At the last possible moment, Talme swung his staff upwards in an arc and connected with the boulder - a surge of energy shot through the staff, shattering the boulder utterly. Talme spun to face an approaching enemy, and swing his staff, smacking his stunned opponent in the face with wood, which knocked him to the ground. Thrusting his staff against the ground, Talme sent a burst of energy through the ground - and the goblin on the cliff was sent sprawling through the air as a rock column burst from the ground underneath it.
Talme smiled and turned towards the goblin on the ground. "Tell your friends to run along, or I'm going to chuck the lot of them off the mountain," He spoke grimly, hoping the creature could even understand him. "Don't think I wont do it, your boulder-totting buddy didn't do to well falling down this cliff..." He muttered quietly. The goblin's eyes were wide with fear, and it yelped in it's own language and darted off around the corner. Talme shot a rock up from the ground, nearly tripping it as it ran away from him full speed. "Heh..." Chuckling as he started walking again, he got the feeling that he might not be alone just yet. He held his staff at the ready, though he wasn't sure where this newcomer was...
