Night had fallen over the Zyabeth Forest. The temperature had cooled off drastically compared to previous nights before. Since autumn was upon the realm, the temperature only kept decreasing.
Levidrona had found herself out in the forest when the sun had set. The thief had been traveling through the forest, trying to get to Temarra. She knew that continuing to travel through the woods was not the wisest thing she could do, so after a debate within her she set up camp. Levi had made her camp not too far away from a creek before getting a fire going
The human was relaxing by the fire, laying back a bit and propping herself up on her elbows. She let out a content sigh, enjoying the warmth of the flames.

Morph was in a particularly playful and mischievous mood at the moment, a rarity for him. Since Ro wasn't around to give him orders and was off doing her own thing, he decided to travel Yviex and see what other creatures he could play with.
The djinn was right now in the form of a small, helpless, and innocent looking creature and roaming around the woods. The fairies and dryads would know what he was on instinct and stay away from him until they needed his help. But humans, humans were quite fun, he mused as he hummed to himself. He currently looked like a rather cute and innocent raccoon since they were nocturnal, not that it really mattered to him, and stopped, chittering to himself as he looked around.
Finding a glowing fire light, he grinned, it looked rather evil on the raccoon body, but he shook it off before setting off in the direction of the campfire, acting very much like a curious raccoon, poking his head out so he could see the human girl. She was alone, which he liked, meaning it was easier for him to bug her.
He skittered in close, making sure to make enough noise that she would undoubtedly hear him, throwing her supplies from her bag all over the campsite before crawling into the bag and grabbing something that looked important in his mouth and poking his head out, as if he were looking around for her to see him before getting out of the bag.

Levidrona had sat up as soon as she saw the raccoon wander into her small camp sight. “Oy, get out of there,” she said as she saw the little creature go over to her bag and start going through her things. “Get out of that. Shoo, shoo!”
The human got up and quickly went after the raccoon as she saw it take something out of her bag. “That’s not yours, little guy. Give that back now.” The thief was quick to try and retrieve her item from the mouth of the little animal.

Morpheus snickered, darting around between her legs with her precious item in his mouth, weaving figure eights before shooting off and disappearing up a tree, reappearing on a branch that was over hanging the campsite where he sat down and appeared to try and figure out whatever it was he had stolen by banging it against the branch and seeing if he could eat it.
Of course the djinn knew exactly what he had stolen but the raccoon playfulness wanted to figure out what it was and if it was any good. Once it was decided that it wasn't, he chirped at her, shaking a tiny fist in the air before throwing it down to land at her feet.

Levi was quickly going after the raccoon, trying to catch the little creature. “Give that back,” she said, trying to nab its tail.
The human wasn’t really mad; she was just desperately trying to retrieve the item from the raccoon. To say the least, she was not sure to this sort of thing. Little forest critters did not get into her belongings every day nor did she ever think that an animal had gotten into her bag.
Levidrona was trying to reach the raccoon who now had climbed up on a branch. Due to Levi’s short stature, the raccoon was quite out of her reach.

Morph chuckled, throwing whatever it was he'd had in his hands back at her, promptly hitting her on the top of the head as he yelled at her every time she yelled at him, almost as if they were having an argument. In a way they were, but it was one sided and what he was saying wouldn't make sense to any other raccoons if they were in the area, it was complete jibberish.
The djinn clapped his hands once and slowly disappeared, leaving only his eyes and a cheshire cat like grin behind, floating there in the darkness, if only to scare the human thief.

The human retrieved her item that had bounced off of her head and onto the ground. She let out a sigh, tucking it into one of her pockets before looking back up to where the raccoon had been. Levidrona startled slightly at the change in face of the animal.
“Well, then, aren’t you special,” Levi said before turning and walking over to her bag. She tucked her item back into her bag. The thief quickly went around and picked up all of the other discarded items from her bag.

"You don't even know the half of it," the djinn's voice trailed off, ending in a high pitched cackle that left the surrounding area eerily quiet when it finally died. He was enjoying this a little too much.
"Let's see, what to do with you, what to do with you," he mused, the floating face dancing around the tree tops, watching her and following her movements but never quite coming into the circle of the fire before it danced back out, eyes glowing like spectral beings.
"We could always scare you, torture you, eat you, oh yes, any number of things," he said in a sing-song voice as the face spun around upside down before righting itself.

Levi sat back down at the fire, her eyes shifting around the campsite. She looked to every place where she thought she had heard the sound of this creature. She was quite certain that it was only one being, but she was unsure of what it was.
“I am not afraid of you,” she told the voice, trying to relax herself a bit. It didn’t help that she was already on edge from simply being out in the forest at night. Now, she was being taunted by some creature.

"You aren't too sure of that. Fear radiates off your body," he said as he separated himself into several different bodies and voices, all dancing around just outside of the campfire, all laughing and dancing with distinctly different voices.
Sometimes, being a pretty free djinn was the best thing ever.
He cackled, his true body floating somewhere above the tree tops as he watched his projections dance. Of course they would all be solid to the touch and have their own facets of his personality that they displayed to the fullest, but right now he was just having fun.

Levi stayed close to her fire; her eyes drifting around carefully trying to take in all of the bodies and voices. She hated when powerful creatures played tricks on her mind and on her eyes. It was bad enough that she had to set up camp in the forest, now she had to have some magical being taunt her. Great. What else would happen next? A chimera coming out of nowhere? That would be her luck.
“Leave me alone,” the thief yelled at the creature. “I have done nothing to you, so go away.”
