Member Contact:1. Respect Respect all members. This should be a given. Members are to respect the staff and other members. There should be no degrading of people on this site. We all have different views, beliefs, and opinions. Debates and discussion over controversial topics, such as religion, abortion, same-sex marriage, are allowed but no one is to create drama or treat people inappropriately for having different views. 2. Language Profaned language is allowed on the site. It can be used in roleplay and in out of character areas. Please, use the profane language within reason. Cursing to be rude to a member will not be tolerated. 3. Maturity All members are expected to be mature enough to handle dealing with other people. This simply means we expect everyone on the site to know how act in general. We all have our moments of being immature, and that is understandable. People who start stupid fights over honestly nothing will not be tolerated. That behavior is not just immaturity; it is also disrespectful and rude. 4. Privacy No member is required to put any personal information down on the site. Members can keep personal information to themselves. No one should ever feel pressured to put something private up on the boards.

Roleplay Interaction:1. Character Control Characters are controlled by their creators. Other members are not allowed to control others' characters without permission. 2. Secondary Characters Secondary characters are the minor characters within roleplays. They are the characters that can be controlled by other characters. They are simply there to make the roleplay a bit more realistic with more interaction. 3. Grammar Proper grammar and spelling is important. Typos are understandable, and messing up comma placement and other grammatical placements can be tolerated. Spelling mistakes can easily be avoided, though. There is a spell check that can be used. Capitalization is a must; it is not optional.
We understand mistakes, because frankly no one is perfect. We just strongly urge our members to watch how and what they type. 4. Language Profaned language is allowed in roleplay. It can be used in roleplay and in out of character areas. Please, use the profane language within reason. Cursing to be rude to a member will not be tolerated.
Also, if you are to use curse words, please put the actual word. There is no reason to censor yourself with symbols when the words are allowed on the site. 5. Third Person When roleplaying, your writing must be in third person. The thoughts and dialogue of your character(s) may be in first person.
6. Word Minimum There is a hundred word minimum for each post. Use the word count at the bottom of the posting area to see how many words you are accumulating. 7. Violence Violence is allowed in roleplay. There will be no godmoding or other power playing by any characters. No character can be killed without the permission of the person who is playing the character.
Note: The older a character is, the more powerful he/she is no matter what race. So, if someone older is facing someone younger (with a very wide age gap), the older character will be more powerful than the younger character. This is just common sense.
For example: If a 3,000 year old wizard would face a 300 year old elf, the wizard would be more powerful and therefore win the battle against the elf. 8. Romance Romance is allowed on the site. People are allowed to create relationships and fall in love. 9. Threads Members can basically post anywhere that they please. Members can also roleplay in multiple places. There is not restriction on how many threads you can be in at once.
Joining Threads:
There are two types of thread labeling. One type of thread labeling has "Private" or has a specific character's name (or names depending on the labeling) after the title. These are between the two or more people depending on what is specified by the creators of the threads, you may not join these unless you are invited in by the creator of the thread.
The other type of thread labeling has “Open” in the title or no label at all. These are open to any and all characters to join in the beginning. However, once there have been more than four posts between two or more characters, ask to join the thread as the people playing there may have a desired plot they wish to achieve.
Posting Order:
In threads with multiple members, there may be what needs to be determined as a "posting order". This is simply what order the posters will go in and usually follows the first order in which they post or join a thread. For example, the starter goes first always, the next person is second and so on and so forth.
Example: If person "A" starts the thread, then they will go first. Once person "B" joins, they are second and if "C" joins, they are third.
So it would go like this: A post B post C post A post B post C post and so on.
The exception to this is when you have been given permission to go out of order. Say for example it the above thread, all is going well and "A" has to get offline. "B" and "C" can post in their order and if "A" gives permission for them to continue, then they may do so for a reasonable length. Preferably no more than five posts each so "A" can read and respond. 10. Display Names Display names must be the character’s name. The name does not have to follow first name, last name order. It can just be the character’s first name or last name. The name must be able to identify the character that is played on that account. 11. Number of Characters Members can have as many characters as they would like. Each character must have a separate account. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Having characters on separate accounts helps to not confuse members on which character you are roleplaying with. 12. Character Creations When creating your character follow the character sheet. There are instructions to what is expected in your character’s profile. 13. Companions Every character is allowed one to two companions. Companions are animals who are friendly creatures. Normal animals can be companion creatures, but there are also beasts who can be companions as well. Check the bestiary for companion creatures. 14. Dead Characters Characters who have died will have their profiles moved to the sub-board "The Graveyard". The accounts that the dead characters were played on will be deleted unless otherwise requested.

Character Acceptance System:1. When creating a profile for a character, members are to use the character sheet posted in the Create Your Destiny board. Character Sheet: Character Submission Form
2. Members are to submit their characters’ profiles to the board Your Submission. Once there, the staff will look over the profile making sure that all components of the profile are filled out correctly.
3. Once the character profile has been accepted it will be either moved to the Royalty board or the Welcome to the World board. The member’s custom title will be changed to whatever race the character is. An acceptance message will be sent out to the member alerting them to his or her character being accepted.

Signatures:Signatures must be between 400x400 pixels in size. Signatures can be any image except anything dealing with nudity. If you have any questions on if your avatar fits the rules, please contact one of the staff. We will view your image and tell you if it is allowed or not. Resizing Tips:There are many ways you can resize a picture you want to use for a signature. There is always uploading the picture to Photobucket and resizing it using the editing tools.
There also is a way to resize the picture by using the help of the image code. Just simply adjust the width and height of the image being used. Simply add width and height to your image code. Example:[ img width=400 height=200 ]Your image url here.[ /img ]
(Take out the spaces if you use the above coding for reference.)
You can do this with whatever image you post up in a post as well.
