The day was coming to an end. This day in Secstial had been a long hot one, and Tier was happy that the sun was setting and the temperature was cooling off. The animagus and Cecilia had been in the desert village for a couple of days. He had spent the day showing the blind half breed around the village.
Tier had left Cecilia in their room at the inn just a little while ago. He had decided to go to the Madubi before all of the shops had closed down for the night so he could get some material for dinner. The animagus had decided to treat Cecilia to a meal of his making.
The animagus had been back at the inn for a little while, cooking in the kitchen. He knew the family who owned the inn, and they allowed him with kind smiles to use the kitchen to create a meal for him and Cecilia. Tier was rather talented at cooking. It was one of those many abilities that he had learned over his many years of existence. He could not help but be impressed by his cooking, though, and once he had finished preparing the meal he stepped back and enjoyed how well it turned out.
Tier got the food together, placing it on plates. He placed the plates upon a tray before going upstairs to the room they were staying at. He did not bother to knock as he reached the door. He simply opened the door and entered.

Cecilia tilted her head when he entered the room, not turning from her seat at the window since she couldn't see him, rather her slight movement was all that was needed to acknowledge him. She was resting her elbows on the window sill to feel the temperature change here. It was quite different and rapid than the other places they had been and she rather liked it. Although she could do without the heat during the day, but she didn't complain.
She enjoyed the slight breeze that had picked up, playing with her hair as she sat in front of the window before speaking to Tier. "Did you have fun?" she inquired lightly, more for conversation than actually needing an answer.

“I did have fun,” Tier responded with a slight laugh. He walked over to a small table, setting the tray down there. His eyes looked over to Cecilia once more, watching her. “I made supper for us. You should come over here and get a taste of what I made for you.”
The animagus smiled, sitting down in one of the chairs and waiting for Cecilia to walk over to him. Tier was hoping that the half breed would enjoy his cooking, since he would probably be cooking for her for a long time.
“I hope you like it.”

Cecilia smiled as she closed the window before rising and making her way to the table as well, sitting from what she guessed was across from Tier at the moment. She tilted her head to the side, causing the long braid to spill over her shoulder as she seemed to study him before speaking. "I didn't know you cooked," she teased. "I'm glad you didn't burn the Inn down."
She had a happy smile on her face, now that she had seemed to get over finding and losing her brother again. Tier would know that she would always miss her twin, but it was something that they had to deal with and that couldn't be helped.
"What did you make?" she asked curiously.

“I guess you shall find out when you take a bite,” Tier said with a laugh. He picked up a plate he had designated to be Cecilia’s. He held it out to the blind half breed until she reached out and took it. The animagus picked up his own plate and sat it down on his lap.
“I have plenty of talents you don’t know about, Cecilia. I will have to show you them gradually as we spend more time together,” he said with a smile. “I will make sure that I will cook for you a lot more if you like what I’ve made for you.”

Cecilia smiled at him, taking a bite of her own food after Tier had handed it to her. She paused, tilting her head to the side in a cute way as she tried to figure out what it was that Tier had made. She chewed thoughtfully as she wrinkled her nose in thought, a look that often came across her features when she was presented with something new and was trying to figure it out.
Shaking her head, she had a slight smile on her face when she spoke again. "It's good but I don't know what it is," she said with a laugh. "And I'm not putting my hands in it."

Tier gave a slight laugh, watching her eat. “Alright, I suppose I can humor you and tell you what it is,” he said with a smile. He took a bite out of his own food. “It is fish. There is a fisherman in town who goes out to a river that is a few miles away from the village and fishes. He is a rather brave fellow for doing so. There are usually desert beasts around the river. He does make a pretty good fortune for himself by just fishing, though.”
The animagus took another bite. “I hope you are enjoying it. I hope I prepared to your exact liking.”

Cecilia shrugged, a faint smile coming over her features as she listened to Tier's voice. She was curious as to the colors that made up the animagus, but she could live without it. After all, she'd never had colors before, so why start wanting something she'd never need?
Shaking her head at her thoughts she focused on the animagus once more. "It's good, I'm not very picky about what I eat anymore," she said with a light laugh. "But then again, you probably know that by now."
The blind halfbreed tilted her head to the side as they continued to eat, partly curious the river and the man who did the fishing, but decided that she wouldn't waste anymore time worrying about it.

“I know,” Tier said gently, watching Cecilia. He smiled a bit before continuing in his eating. Soon, the animagus had finished off the fish that was in front of him. He sat his plate down on the table in front of them before leaning back in his chair. He decided to just watch Cecilia finish her food.
“I have no completely decided if we should leave from this village tomorrow,” he said offhandedly. “If you would want to, we could stay here for a few more days. Either way, I will be content. I have been here many times before and shall be here again many times after this.”

Cecilia finished as well, taking a moment to think as she set her dishes to the side, carefully taking control of her thoughts before answering Tier. "I'm not sure. I mean, I'm sure things are a lot more interesting if you can see them, but then again, you miss a lot of thing little things if you're focused on the visual," she said, her thoughts spilling out in a soft voice.
She shrugged and pushed some of her loose strands of hair behind her ear before she answered Tier. "I don't particularly mind either way," she said with a light laugh. "Unless you had more things you wanted to show me, we can go ahead and leave tomorrow," she said.

“You have a whole world to see, Cecilia,” Tier told her gently. The animagus sat forward in his chair, reaching out and taking hold of her hand gently. His fingers lightly grazed over her hand as he watched her.
“We will leave when you want to, alright? I have all the time in the world. I have seen all of these places hundreds of times over. You have not, and I want you to take your time if that is what you want. I do not mean to rush your visits to these places. So, you call how long we stay.”

Cecilia sent him a brilliant smile, her smaller hands turning his larger one over so she could trace it, fingers dancing across the skin like the touch of butterfly wings. "It's alright Tier," she said with a smile. "I was just speaking my thoughts. I am fine if we leave tomorrow because I do not know what is always here. And things change from season to season," she said with a gentle smile as she lifted his hand up and kissed the palm.
"I don't think I have anymore curiosity about the desert though," she said with a giggle as she released his hand.

“Then, we can leave,” he said gently with a smile. He leaned over and kissed Cecilia’s lips gently. He ran his hand over her hair gently, his eyes studying her face. His other hand came up, lightly moving over her cheek and then down to her neck. Tier gave another smile. He was always so very happy being around the blind half breed.
“I just want to be able to show you the world,” he said gently. “If I could give you sight, I would, you know. I know you enjoy seeing the world in your own way, but if you had sight that would make for a whole new adventure.”
