Written word on parchment. Fish actually sounded good at the moment, so Celestine thought. If Aurora went swimming and caught some fish for them, he would be more than happy to cook them up. That nap also sounded pretty enticing as well. The half breed was thinking about taking up the suggested nap.
Celestine gave a slight nod, stretching out over the rock a bit more and taking up plenty of space. He gave a slight yawn and closed his eyes. He was quite use to sleeping on hard surfaces so taking a nap on this blanket that was placed over a rock would be no problem at all.

Aurora giggled slightly at him before sitting up and shedding most of her clothes, leaving her in a tight, short shirt and a pair of shorts that clung to her body. Grabbing a knife, she strapped it to her thigh before deciding that she was going fishing.
Grinning, she strode over to the edge of the rock and paused a moment, diving into where she knew the deepest and widest part of the river was. She paused underwater for a moment, eyes blinking rapidly as she looked around for some fish.
Not seeing any, she gave a kick and surfaced, taking in a lungful of air as she tread water, looking around for some more fish. Seeing a few flashes of silver, she grinned, ducking back under the water to try and catch them.
It took a little bit, but she finally caught all the fish that she needed and tossed them up on the rock, one landing on or near the sleeping halfbreed before she pulled herself out of the water and scaled the rock, coming back to the top.

Written word on parchment. Celestine woke up, a bit startled. He ran his hand through his hair before rubbing his eyes vigorously. The half breed gave a slight yawn before turning and finally focusing his eyes on the wet Aurora. The mute smiled a bit, enjoying the sight of the wet angelic. His attention slowly turned to the fish that were flopping around on the rock.
Celestine yawned again before stretching and standing up. He stepped over to Aurora, slipping his arms around her and kissing her lips in a quick gesture. He did not mind that he was getting wet from her.

Aurora laughed, leaning back slightly into the embrace as she kissed him back. Carelessly tossing a knife, she pinned and killed one of the fish that had been flopping towards the edge without looking. "Now, you're getting wet, so let me take care of the fish, you can start a fire," she said as she stood up, stretching her arms before grabbing the other fish and sitting near the edge of the rock, cleaning them with quick, efficient, and professional movements that gave a rise to her true profession.
"We can have fish stew tonight, we can have fish stew tomorrow, and we'll have fish every night this week," she sang, giggling lightly at the nonsense ditty she had picked up from somewhere.

Written word on parchment. The half breed grinned before setting to work on fixing up a fire. He went off to get some firewood in the surrounding woods. After a few minutes of being away from the rock, he came back with an armful of tree branches. He sat them down before putting together a fire pit and starting a fire for the fish to be cooked over.
Celestine turned his attention back to Aurora, watching her for a long moment. He smiled to himself, quite content with everything. He did not mind her preparing the fish to be cooked.

Aurora gave him a smile over her shoulder as she cleaned the last of the fish, adding it to the pile next to her before scooping them up and handing them over to Celestine. "You get to cook them while I go get fish guts off me," she said with a giggle before jumping off the rock again into the water.
When she came back up again, she was completely soaked and her clothes clung to her body but she paid it no mind, instead pulling her hair back into a braid so it was out of the way. "So are they done yet, master chef?" she teased.

Written word on parchment. Celestine shook his head slightly, giving a slight smile to Aurora. His eyes took in her wet frame, admiring for a moment. He truly was not able to help himself. He had not felt such emotions toward someone before. He enjoyed every bit of her, and he was not afraid to allow her to know that. The half breed was sure that she had already noted how he responded to her presence.
After a little while longer, the mute finished cooking the fish. He served out what he had cooked, giving Aurora a portion. His eyes glanced around, wondering where Chance had gotten off to.

Aurora arched an eyebrow as she lay back on the rock in the sun, allowing the warmth to dry her rather than trying to put on clothes and have them wet. "Chance is off hunting and doing his own thing, so don't worry about him," she teased with a smile as she ate her portion.
She didn't mind Celestine watching her or following her around nor his reactions to her body and attitude. "Why, did you want to follow him and pretend to be an eagle?" she asked with a smile as she leaned over and kissed his cheek, running delicate fingers through his hair.
