Physical Features:
Once the witch or wizard becomes and apprentice, time slows down and they all become humanoid in appearance. Only the most vague traces remain of their original race, stemming from all races are those with magical abilities. Once they become one race, all are tall and slender and have paler skin than they did before, the delicate hands with no blemishes or scars are what set them apart. This race only uses their hands to perform magick.
Historical Background:
Witches and Wizards are solitary creatures and rarely take on an apprentice unless he or she shows true potential and ability. They are cunning and wise but ever curious about the nature of magick in the world about them. Once they become older, many turn eccentric and some go out if their magick consumes them, often times summoning many creatures. The biggest folly of young ones is to summon a creature more wily, cunning, and vicious than they are. Often it is a djinn that is summoned and the unfortunate wizard is rarely seen alive again.
