EticartiaThe Eticartia is known as the spell book of Yviex. It was created by the ancient magic users of the realm. The spell book includes every spell that has been discovered in the world. Some of the spells were created by the Elementals, and others were created by ancient magic users.
Depending on the level of the magic user, some of these spells cannot be accessed. Magic strength increases with age, and as that strength increases so does the affect of the magic spells. Spell Difficulty: Basic (B) – Intermediate (I) – Expert/Master (E) – Maji (M) Basic magic can be performed by any magic user. Some basic spells can be casted by some species who have very low magic power.
Intermediate magic can casted by species who center their life around magic and a few species that have a bit of magic power. The spells are a bit more difficult than basic magic.
Expert magic can be used by expert magic users. The spells are much more difficult than those of basic and intermediate spells, and there is much more strength and power involved.
Maji magic can only be performed by the highest levels of magic users. The Eticartia is divided up into eight sections: Fire Magicks, Ice Magicks, Lightning Magicks, Water Magicks, Earth Magicks, Wind Magicks, White Magicks, Black Magicks Note: The Eticartia can be updated as time progresses. If there are more spells that need to be added to the book, then they shall be added. Members can send in ideas for spells.

Fire Magicks Fire – B The fire spell creates a small amount of flames. The amount of flames from the spell increases with the level of the spell. Fire Breath – I The user of this spell is able to release a breath of fire unto their enemies. Fireball – B With the fireball spell, users are able to create a fireball and direct it with their hands. Flames of the Underworld – M With casting this spell, the ground erupts and opens up. Flames from the Underworld erupt in a bright blue glow. The magic user is than able to control these flames in killing their enemies. Flare – E When casted affectively, the flare spell will cause an enemy to erupt in a blaze of white flames. Depending on the enemy that it is used upon, the spell can kill almost instantly. Illumination – B The user of this spell is able to create a simple light within the palm of their hand or upon a staff or wand. The stronger the magic user, the longer and brighter the spell will last.

Ice Magicks Blizzard – I The blizzard spell causes a designated area to stir up with icy, skin piercing winds. These winds are very strong and can last for a very long spell of time, depending on the strength of the magic user. Freeze – E When casted, the freeze spell is able to stop the movements of the enemy. Their bodies seem to cover with frost which acts to hinder their movements completely. Frost – I Frost is a stronger version of the ice spell. It is capable of sending multiple, stronger forces of ice toward an enemy. Breath of a Frost Dragon – M This spell causes a large area to become completely frozen. The enemy including plants and animals throughout the area is completely covered in ice and snow. No matter what the temperature is, this designated area stays frozen permanently unless the magic user undoes the spell. Ice – B The ice spell strikes the magic user’s enemy with an ice force. The ice force will be larger and stronger, depending on what level the magic user is. Iceberg – E When casted, iceberg sends a large spike of ice toward the enemy. The ice is formed above the enemy. Ice Storm – E Ice storm is a spell that is used over a designated area. Ice strikes down upon the enemy in three different waves of what appear to be razor sharp icicles. Each wave of these icicles is larger than the last.

Lightning Magicks Hammer of the Gods – M Hammer of the Gods is a severe and deadly spell. When casted, the sky above darkens and thunder starts to sound from above. The clouds part, and the enemy is attacked by over a thousand different bolts of white lightning. The lightning strikes occur in what seems to be simultaneously. The spell lasts for about a minute if not less. Lightning – I The lightning spell is much stronger than the thunder spell. It is capable of sending multiple lightning bolts into an enemy. Lightning Storm – E The lightning storm affects all enemies in a designated area. When the spell is casted, a large range area is inflicted with multiple lightning bolts that can be used against several enemies. Thunder – B Thunder is the most basic lightning spell. When casted, a lightning bolt is sent to the enemy which is followed by a loud blast of thunder. The strength of the spell depends on the strength of the magic user casting the spell. White Lightning – E White lightning is one of the most severe forms of lightning. When casted, the inflicted is struck by one white lightning bolt. These bolts have been known to stop the heart of an enemy instantly.

Water Magicks Flash Flood – I Flash flood is a wave of water energy. The water can be shifted by the magic user’s hands. The spell is meant to do heavy damage upon an enemy. Healing Rain – E Healing rain is a spell that is casted over a group of people. All people in the vicinity of where the spell is casted will have their wounds healed. Maelstrom – E Maelstrom is a spell that works out in the ocean. When casted, a large whirlpool forms in a designated area. The currents are very powerful, and ships are usually pulled into the maelstrom and completely destroyed. Rain – I Rain is a nonaggressive spell. When this spell is casted, rain clouds form over a designated area and provide a rain shower. This spell is usually casted to help farmers. Tsunami – M When tsunami is casted, a wave of giant proportions comes to strike down an enemy. The wave is capable of destroying whole cities if need be. This spell works more affectively next to a body of water. Water – B The water spell is casted by the hands, staff, or wand of the magic user. The strength of the spell depends on the strength of the magic user. The spell is not only meant for offensive attacks; it can be used to simply fill a cup with water.

Earth Magicks Animal Summoning – I Animal summoning allows the user to summon up any animal. The summonings are used to attack enemies; however the magic user who does the summoning cannot communicate directly to what they summon. The summonings know to attack enemies. Blessings of the Goddess Nyphe – M Blessings of the Goddess Nyphe causes large spikes of earth to come up from the ground. The area in which the spokes are brought up from is a rather large area. The spikes will up and down with incredible force. This spell does not end until the enemy has ceased movement or has died. Earth – B Earth is a very simple spell. The user is able to take pieces of earth and send it flying toward an enemy. The strength and speed of the spell depends on the strength of the magic user. Earthquake – I This spell causes an earthquake to erupt beneath the enemies’ feet. With this spell, the earth is able to shake enough to where it can break apart. Gravity – E Gravity causes the levitation of large amounts of earth. The spell can be used to lift an enemy with the ground they stand upon. The enemy being lifted can be moved several feet upward before the magic user simply allows the ground to drop. Gravity can be rather effective in the destruction of an enemy. Petrify – I The petrify spell causes the enemy to turn to stone. The long the spell lasts depends on the strength of the magic user. Protection – B When protection is casted, the defense of the person who has this spell upon them increases.

Wind Magicks Hurricane – E When casted, the spell covers a large designated area. With hurricane multiple tornados are formed to attack the enemy. Levitation – I Levitation causes the user to hover over the ground for a set amount of time. Depending on the magic strength of the user, some are able to fly from one place to another. Mesocyclone – E Mesocyclone causes a large gust of area to be directed toward the enemy. This air is very powerful and causes heavy physical damage. Screech of the Griffon – M When casted, a large black, rotating storm cloud forms. With this cloud comes high speeds, lightning, and piercing rain. This spell covers a large area and usually causes fatality in enemies with winds capable of tearing limbs and lightning. Tornado – I When this spell is casted, a tornado forms. With this spell comes high wind speeds that tear up the ground. This tornado is directed toward the enemy, and does quite a bit of physical damage. Wind – B The wind spell causes a rough gust of air to attack the enemy. The strength of the gust of air depends on the strength of the magic user.

White Magicks Cure – B Cures the majority of poisons. Heal – B Heals the majority of physical wounds. Holy – E Holy is an offensive white magic attack. It is best used against creatures who delve in black magic. A white light shines from the user of this spell and inflicts pain upon the user’s enemy. Invisibility – E Turns the user of the spell or whatever the user wants invisible. How long the spell last depends on the strength of the magic user. Infini-Argot – I Casting this spell will cause the user to be able to understand all of the languages of the realm. Meditation – B Meditation is often casted to release tension in the magic user. It can also be used to restore physical and magical energy. Reflection – I When casted, reflection sends any physical or magical attacks back to the attacker. The damage that could have been done by the physical or magical attack is sent back onto the attacker. Regeneration – I Regeneration allows the one who has this spell casted upon to recover strength over a period of time. This recovering of strength includes healing wounds. Resurrection – E Resurrection can bring a person back to life. There are limitations to this spell, though. The dead person must have only been dead for a short period of time. If the body has already started to rot, resurrection will not work. Sight – B Sight takes away blindness. It is mostly used to counteract the blind spell, but given the strength of the magic user, this spell can cure someone who is truly blind. Sleep – B The sleep spell puts the inflicted to sleep. How long the spell lasts depends on the magic user’s power. This spell is also sometimes used to help others get to sleep instead of put enemies to sleep. Voice – B Voice is a spell that counteracts the spell silence. Whenever someone is silence, voice can be casted to allow that person to speak again. Wrath of the Gods – M When this spell is casted, the environment around the magic user and the enemy becomes pure white. The hands of the magic user glow gold as power forms over them. The power is said to come from the gods themselves. When this power has been full transferred to the magic user’s hands, he or she sends this power in bright golden beams toward the enemy. The movements are quick and can last for several minutes. White Summoning – I White summoning allows the user to summon up djinns, dragons, phoenixes, and other creatures of the light forces. The summonings are used to attack enemies; however the magic user who does the summoning cannot communicate directly to what they summon. The summonings know to attack enemies.

Black Magicks Blind– B The blind spells blinds the inflicted for a set amount of time. Some magic users are capable of completely blinding the one who they have casted the spell upon. Dark Summoning – I Dark summoning allows the user to summon up djinns, demons, dopplegangers, banshees, and other creatures of the dark. The summonings are used to attack enemies; however the magic user who does the summoning cannot communicate directly to what they summon. The summonings know to attack enemies. Darkness – E The darkness spell causes the area around the enemy and the caster to become a black as night. The inflicted most times is unable to see while the spell caster is able to see normally. After this darkness sets in upon the victim, he or she is attacked by phantom creatures. If the inflicted does not have their wits about them, the spell could be fatal. Pain – M Pain is a spell that can potentially be deadly. When casted upon an enemy, the enemy is inflicted with both physical and mental pain. The physical pain results in a feeling of invisible daggers stabbing repetitively into the body. During the physical pain, the victim is trapped in their most painful memory. If the victim survives the spell, his or her mind has been led to insanity. Poison – B When this spell is casted, the enemy is inflicted with poison. The strength of the poison depends on the magical strength of the user. Silence – B The silence spell is capable of muting an enemy for a period of time. How long the enemy is muted depends on the strength of the user casting the spell. Muting an enemy causes any verbal commands they may call out to be void. Weakness – I This spell causes the strength and the defense of the inflicted to decrease. This causes the inflicted to become weaker.
