The djinn shrugged, lazily watching her reactions as Crow circled back and landed on his bent knee. "I am sorry if it seems that I do not care, but after living for as long as I have and will, somethings just happen and you cannot get too caught up in it or you will never move on or function and for me that is dangerous," he said gently as he watched her, the first bit of concern creeping across his features.
The djinn did not care for many, and those he did care for had a tendency to die on him, so he rarely got attached.

The necromancer looked over to the djinn. “I can understand that,” she told him with a slight nod. “I know that I am young, but I have already said goodbye to many that I have loved and cherished. When my adopted parents passed away, it was hard for me to recover, but I soon learned that I had to in order for me to continue living.”
Ayvajin thought for a moment, pulling her hand through her hair. Her hair had already started to dry and get tangled up.
“I know it is different for you. I can only assume that your age is far great of a number than I could truly imagine. I do not blame you for not becoming too attached to mortals and the like. I do not mind if you are apathetic to my feelings or simply to my words. I can be rather happy without someone showing an interest in my happiness.”
She sent him another smile.

The djinn shrugged, closing dark eyes as he lay there basking in the sun for the moment. Ironically, the idyllic peace of the day hadn't been ruined, he found the necromancer to be rather soothing, not at all unlike her mother had been. That, he supposed, had been why he had been drawn to her in the first place. She offered a sense of calm and a place to hide from the world for a while.
Morpheus could easily recall the images and share them, but he did not think the necromancer would enjoy seeing them at all. If she wanted, she could call her mother from the dead and converse with her. "Antoinette was her name," he murmured.

The necromancer smiled, making a mental note of the name. Antoinette. It would be hard for her to forget such a name now. She instantly thought about going up to the Sanctuary and seeking out her mother. It was a possibility, she knew, but she was unsure if she was ready to see her. If anything, she could go to the Sanctuary and see her adopted parents. Either way, she knew that it was a possibility.
Ayvajin let out a soft sigh, laying back in the grass. She enjoyed how the earth felt beneath her. Her arms stretched out a bit.
“Well, at least I know why everyone thinks I am part djinn now,” she said with a slight laugh.

"So it would seem," he said with an apathetic shrug as he closed his eyes again, silently talking to the bird. He felt the faint tug in his body as he was summoned by Ro and opened his eyes.
"I must go," he said, rising and magicking clothes to appear on his body, covering them up. "This is the reason that djinn do not make good parents. We are completely at the whims of others, " he said as he swept into a bow. "But I am sure you can find me in the books if you care to look enough. Good bye, Ayvajin," he said with a faint smile as his form began to disappear.
"I hope you provide a better life for your children than I could for you," he finished his voice trailing off as he completely disappeared.
