Cecilia smiled as she felt the breeze that had been kicked up by the mountain range, happy despite the perpetual chill that seemed to be in the air. She didn't mind the cold or the changing seasons, actually welcoming them with open arms and a happy mood after having been subject to only one constant in the atmosphere for most of her life.
She had figured out to tread carefully within the first few steps of the city and she now followed Tier, letting him lead her as he would. She was happy with the animagus and didn't mind following him or letting him lead her around Yviex.

Tier glanced back at Cecilia with a smile. He paused in his walking and waited for her to catch up a bit. He was quite happy to have the half breed around him. He did not mind taking her around Yviex and exploring new places. He enjoyed her curiosity of all things and beings. It was rather refreshing to see someone who was truly interested in the world.
The animagus took a few steps toward Cecilia, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she finally reached him. “Anything you might want to do at the moment?” he asked her gently. “Or are you tired? I feel as though I am dragging you around way too much. I hope you do not tire of such journeys.”
Tier gave a slight laugh. He was not use to people who did not share the same infinite strength that he possessed. The animagus could have gone on and on without stopping.

She smiled as she felt his touch, butterfly fingers wrapping around his wrist to feel his mood. Shaking her head, Cecilia laughed slightly as she tilted her head and listened to the sounds around them. "I'm fine right now, Tier," she said with a bright laugh. "I'll tell you if I get tired, okay?" she said as her hand reached up to cradle his face in a tender gesture.
The halfbreed was happy around him and was much better at predicting his moods than she had been a scant few weeks ago. It was almost as if she knew him as well as her brother, except she couldn't "read" his mind as she could with her brother. Cecilia found herself thinking of her twin less often when she was in the presence of Tier and he was showing her new things, but when she was alone, she would often think about her twin and worry about him.

“Alright,” Tier said, smiling a bit. “Just promise to let me know, Cecilia.” He leaned down and kissed her forehead lightly as he led her forward through the streets of Abourno. “What might you want to get into today? Perhaps, some new food? Or maybe some new music? That could be interesting. Harpies and angelics have their own customs that are very unique to both of the races. We should find some musicians.”
Tier rather liked that idea, now. The animagus was a big fan of music. He enjoyed the sounds of the instruments and the singing quite a lot to be honest. He was sure that Cecilia would enjoy the music as well.

Cecilia giggled at his reaction, he was always asking her what she wanted to get into and then figuring out something else he wanted to do. She was quite happy to follow his lead since she wanted to know about everything she could and she figured that it was always better that he lead her.
"That would be quite fine," she said with a bright laugh that drew a few looks from people around them. Cecilia hardly noticed when anyone looked at her, it wasn't like she could really see their reactions. She tilted her head up and stood on her toes as she kissed Tier's cheek. "Whatever you would like."

“Well, ultimately, I aim to please you, Cecilia,” Tier said with a smile. “So, I will let you discover some new music, and I think you will be happy.” He ran his fingers through her hair as he watched her expressions. “I think you will really like the music, though. Perhaps, it might help you know partially where you come from, you know?”
The animagus had known for some time that Cecilia was part angelic. It was easy for him to tell. Her appearance gave it away quite easily. She did not need wings to clearly be identified as an angelic.

Cecilia made an irritated sound in the back of her throat. She knew what she was, she wasn't deaf, she had heard what others had said about her and her brother. "I already know what I am," she said, a bit cross. "You just assumed that I never knew," she said as she crossed her arms over her chest, pouting a bit.
She wasn't mad at him really, it was that he didn't seem to believe her when she told him that she knew. "I'm a halfbreed. Half angelic and half human," she said as she gave him a look that dared him to tell her she was wrong.

Tier could not help but give a laugh as he looked to Cecilia and her slight irritation. She was too cute to look even slightly irritated. He ran his hand through her hair once more, shaking his head slightly as he watched her.
“I know that you already know what you are, Cecilia,” he told her. “I will not deny you what you are. I want to show you part of your culture that you have missed out on and not just the angelic side. We are here in Abourno, and this is where a good portion of the angelics live. There is no better place to see some of their culture than here.”
The animagus leaned down, kissing her cheek lightly with a slight laugh. “It has nothing to do with showing you that you are not a half breed or anything of that sort. It has everything to do with showing you more of the world.”

Cecilia pouted again, still slightly irritated with him. There were times when he seemed to forget she was blind because she could function rather well. "I do hope you don't mean paintings and such," she said as she gave up on being irritated with him. It never seemed to do anything besides amuse him.
"Because I can only listen to the music and talk," she said, with a shrug as she seemed to tilt her head down to stare at her feet with a bashful look on her face. "Fine, you win," she said as she stuck her bottom lip out in a slight pout.

“I only said music,” he told her gently, rubbing her arm lightly with a smile. “Maybe you can touch some of the instruments. And if we’re lucky, perhaps one of the angelics will let you feel up their wings.” He gave a slight laugh, trying to cheer Cecilia up a bit.
“By now, I know that you are blind, Cecilia,” he told her. “I know you cannot see things the way I do. I know you can’t see paintings and all that. Culture isn’t all about artwork and all that. It can be about the food, the music, the clothing. There’s another thought. We’ll get you some cute little angelic dresses, too. You’ll like the fabric, I promise.”

Cecilia wrinkled her nose at the animagus, shaking her head back and forth. "I don't need any dresses," she said, being firm about that point. "So we are not getting me any 'cute little angelic dresses' as you put it," she said as she stuck her tongue out at him. She could be just as stubborn as he was when she wanted to, as he was finding out.
Although he usually got his way, being far older than she was and knowing every trick in the book how to get her confused and flustered and forget what she was being stubborn about. "But lead the way."

Tier gave a laugh, leaning down and placing a firm kiss on her lips before leading her down the street. “There is a little bar that not too many know about. Well, besides the locals. They sell drinks and food there. There are also singers and dancers who go in there daily to perform. Now, I know you can’t see them dance, but that is not the point. I want you to feel the atmosphere, get something good to eat and drink, and just relax with the music.”
The animagus continued to walk Cecilia down the road, holding her close to his side.

Cecilia made an irritated noise in the back of her throat, like she was going to respond to him before he kissed her. She sighed, ultimately deciding that giving up was her best option and instead followed Tier down the street, or rather had him lead her down the street to the little bar that he seemed fond of going to.
She ran a hand through her hair and pushed it off of her shoulders to trail along behind her back, wanting to tie the cloth around her eyes but refraining from doing so for the time being. She didn't feel too out of place yet.

“You know you will enjoy yourself, stubborn,” Tier told her, smiling and shaking his head a bit. “You know you will have a good time, and that you will be thanking me later for taking you out to this bar. Then, I will get you a few dresses and indulged that inner woman in you.”
The animagus gave a slight laugh as they reached the bar. He opened the door before leading Cecilia in. Music greeted them instantly. Tier could not help but give another smile. The music was rather slow and hypnotic. There were a few angelics playing instruments on the small stage with a female harpy who was singing.
Tier led Cecilia over to a table and pulled out a chair before allowing her to feel her way around it.

Cecilia made another noise, just giving up for now in arguing with the animagus since he seemed to keep winning. Mostly because he didn't give up, instead doing as he damn well pleased. She frowned at him slightly, but made her way to the seat, fingers exploring the table top while she listened to the conversations around her.
It was an interesting place, that much she had decided and she could tell from the vibrations in the music that echoed off the stones of the place that the creatures on the stage were different races. She tilted her head, focusing more on tracing the echoes to determine how the room was set up and how large the crowd was.

“Enjoy the music, Cecilia,” Tier said gently in her ear before kissing her cheek. “Do not focus on your surroundings. You are safe, I assure you. Nothing here will hurt you, because I am with you. Now just relax a bit and enjoy the music, alright? I am going to go get us something to eat and to drink. Try to enjoy yourself.” He smiled once more, kissing the corner of her mouth before walking away to get some food.
Tier was not one to wait for service to come to him. He tended to always go and get his food and drinks before a barmaid could offer the help. He got away with his behavior since most remembered the animagus and most trusted him.
He was gone for a few minutes before coming back to the table with some food for the two of them. He sat down a bowl and a glass in front of Cecilia. Tier sat down beside her, his eyes watching her carefully.

"I didn't run away," she said as she let a delicate hand trail over his arm, sensing his mood in a way that only she could do. Her touch was still as light as a butterfly over his skin and a few times she had felt goosebumps rise in the wake of her fingers when she had traced them over the animagus' skin.
"And I'm trying, now hush," she scolded gently with a smile directed towards Tier before she tilted her head to the side, ears picking up on the different notes and sounds, rather enjoying the way they played against each other.

Tier smiled a bit before giving a slight laugh and a slight shake of his head. He ran his fingers through Cecilia’s hair as he watched her listen to the music for a bit. “Make sure you get your fill of food and drink,” he told her before sitting back in his chair. He took a bite off of his plate, enjoying how tasteful the food was.
“Well, now I can’t wait to take you out to get some dresses,” the animagus said, making small talk. He wasn’t trying to distract Cecilia from the music, but he felt like something should be said between them. “You’ll love them, I swear you will.”

Cecilia nodded, eating some of the food that Tier had placed before her as well, listening to the music with very attuned ears. It was different and she liked different, but she wasn't sure if she liked the music yet. She hadn't been exposed to much music, she normally had only focused on her brother and surviving, not having much time for the finer things in life.
"Whatever you wish," she said, softly, half distracted before she turned to face him, putting a finger on his lips. "Now hush and let me listen," she said as she leaned up and kissed him softly, sending him a smile before she turned back around to listen to the music.

The animagus smiled once more. He now allowed Cecilia to discover the music in her own way, deciding that continuing to talk would just be a great distraction for her. He took a drink from his glass before allowing his eyes to move back over to the stage.
Tier was glad that he could give such experiences to the half breed. He enjoyed the look she got upon her face whenever she discovered something that she liked or that simply intrigued her. He appreciated her outlook on life and often smiled just at the thought of her.
