Lucien was brooding. There was no other term for it, he was moody and upset, something that always happened after Fixatia was around. Especially now that she had threatened the necromancer's life, beneath the brooding surface there was rage. It had been white hot earlier, but now it was a cold rage, one that promised no mercy if Fixatia crossed that line.
But for now, the King had to warn the necromancer so she could be prepared and take the necessary steps. Fixatia could only do so much, having to come after women during the day, she could not infiltrate their dreams the way he could. She was weaker than he was and refused to learn anymore from anyone.

Ayvajin made her way toward the inn. She had arrived in Liadi the day before. She had gone out to get something to eat while she relaxed out by the water. The island village was good for that. The necromancer was always able to clear her mind while she sat out by the ocean. There was something about the water that was very calm and comforting.
She gripped a basket with her left arm that she held up against her hip as she walked. The necromancer hummed to herself gently as she made her way back to the open inn. She had braided her hair and was wearing a very light fabric, white dress that hung loosely off her frame. There were sandals upon her feet.
Ayvajin’s mind was rather preoccupied with matters that always seemed to be beyond her, and that’s why this trip to Liadi was necessary. She needed somewhere to relax her mind.

The King of the Incubi shook his head, deciding that the best course of action was to merely find her and tell her what had happened. Of course she'd probably scold him but she didn't hadn't had to deal with the brat for several thousand years, nor, hopefully would she ever have to deal with her.
Closing his eyes, he followed her distinct energy before reaching her and falling into step beside her, deciding to play with her, seeing if she would notice his presence right away or would she play ignorant. He materialized, matching his footsteps with hers.

A smile curled over the necromancer’s lips as Lucien walked at her side. She paid the incubus no mind, though. She would pretend that he was not there, since he was trying to seem like he was not there himself. Ayvajin would at least reach the inn before she would allow Lucien to know that she was quite aware of his presence.
She made her way back to the inn, basket still resting on her hip. She had continued to hum to herself gently, enjoying the little tune that came from behind her lips. The necromancer paused before walking over to where her mat lay upon the floor.
“King Lucien seems to have something to tell me,” she said without looking over to the incubus.

"I have several things to tell you but in public is hardly the best place for them," he said, his mood hardly changing despite the necromancer's happiness and serenity. He was more concerned with keeping her alive for the long term rather than being happy right now.
"So shall we go to your room or would you rather I actually tell you now?" he asked, still being a gentleman though his movements were rather stiff as he tried to control the anger and rage at the mere thought of his last meeting with Fixatia. It was not a good feeling for him.

Ayvajin looked to Lucien and raised an eyebrow as she took in his posture. She could tell now that something was wrong. She moved her eyes away from the king for a moment, glancing around the inn.
“If you want somewhere private, this inn is not the place,” she said, concern slipping into her voice. “We can go out along the beach. There probably will not be that many people out in about at this time. We will have enough privacy there, Lucien.”
The necromancer gently set her free hand upon the incubus’s arm to try to give him comfort.

"Lead to wherever you wish to go, necromancer," he said, trying to keep the irritation out of his voice as he spoke to her and remembered his real purpose for wanting to find her as quickly as possible.
He ran his free hand through his hair before sending her a distracted smile as he place his hand on top of hers, moving it so he was now escorting her like a proper gentleman. "Let's go so we can speak about this. The sooner you know, the better," he said as he cast his gaze about, as if waiting for Fixatia to appear.

The necromancer gave a slight nod. “Alright,” she said gently as she allowed Lucien to escort her to the beach. “What has you so bothered, though?” she asked as she walked along with the incubus.
Ayvajin was somewhat concerned. The only other time she had seen the incubus in such a bad mood was when he had gone to punish another incubus. The necromancer watched Lucien with blue eyes full of worry.
They reached the beach. There was no one upon the sands at this time of day, which the necromancer was suddenly rather grateful for. “So, what is the problem, Lucien?”

Lucien sighed as they reached an area with no people before telling her what had happened between him and the Queen of the Succubi. "So in other words, she is unhappy that I am spending time with you and has threatened your life. There are several courses of action you can take but choose wisely. If you need help, I will always be around to help you in what way I can," he said, his mood calmed down considerably now that he'd told her.
If he had his way, which he most certainly would, there would be a magical companion with her that would alert him at the first sign of a succubi near her.

Ayvajin thought for a long moment, a bit surprised with the death threat from the queen of the succubi. The necromancer’s gaze drifted over to the ocean. She let out a soft sigh before looking back to Lucien.
“Well, I do want to continue seeing you,” she said with a slow smile to the incubus. “You tell me how I should approach dealing with this situation. I do not know much about incubi or succubi. All I know is my power in necromancy and how I can use it to defend myself if it comes down to such a thing as a battle between her and me. I hope I do not have to fight her, though.”
The necromancer let out a slow sigh before giving a quick smile before taking Lucien’s hand with her free hand.

"She'd be dead before she could lay a hand on you," he said with a shrug, causal about it as he had been about slapping Fixatia. "I would suggest getting a charm that keeps succubi and lower level incubi away from you. If I have your permission, I'd rather leave a magickal watch on you to let me know if she tries to get crafty and use your own powers against you."
He turned then to look at her, wrapping his arms around her waist as he drew her to him, resting his chin on top of her head as he thought, hands rubbing up and down her back but never straying beyond the borders of proper.

Ayvajin closed her eyes a bit as she relaxed against the incubus. She smiled a bit, enjoying the feel of him up against her. The necromancer allowed her basket to drop to the ground before slipping her arms around Lucien.
“You have my permission to do whatever you would like to,” she said softly to him. Her fingers gently trailed up and down his back. “I just want to be able to continue seeing you. As long as I can, there is no reason for me to complain or worry. So you can do what you must do to make sure that I am protected.”

"And I shall," he said as he dropped a kiss on the top of her head, thoughts turning internal as he thought. There was no doubt in his mind that the Queen of the Succubi would die or at the very least be humiliated when he next saw her or she next came to seek him out. It was a time that everyone had seen coming, no one claimed the other without consent from both sides. And Lucien did not consent to being hers.
At the moment, the only one he consented to actually wanting to belong to was the necromancer in his arms.

The necromancer smiled as she looked up to the incubus. “There is no reason to worry now,” she said, gently rubbing his back. “I know now, so I will not be surprised to run into her. I will expect it when it does happen. Everything will be taken care of. So, we should enjoy our time together once more. No reason for her to rain upon our parade.”
Ayvajin stepped back, glancing down at the basket she had dropped to the ground. “We should go have a picnic a little bit further down the beach. I had bought some food to eat alone, but I am sure it will be enough for both of us, dearest Lucien.”

"If you wish to," he said as he let his arms drop, following her lead. "And I am no longer worried, merely wishing that this all would be over or that she never existed. But then I'm sure someone else would have cropped up to make my life miserable, no?" he asked with a tired laugh.
He rubbed at the back of his neck as he leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead, letting his hand drop and placed it in his pocket as he offered his other arm to the necromancer so they could walk together.

Ayvajin slipped her arm around Lucien’s with a slight smile before starting down the beach. “You have to take into consideration the queen’s feelings as well,” the necromancer said as they walked. “You may hate her, but there must be a reason she so desperately craves your attention, Lucien. There is always some sort of reason beyond the surface.”
The necromancer stopped in her walking as they came to a rather nice spot upon the beach. She set the basket back down upon the ground. Her eyes moved back over to the incubus. “You are rather appealing, you know. Ever think that you may have way too much charm?”

"All the time," he said with a smile as he looked down at her. "But it attracted you to me, so I'm not complaining. Just admit it, you find me irresistible," he said with a laugh.
The King of the Incubi was not above poking fun at himself, deciding Fixatia warranted no more of his thoughts or time at the moment. He would deal with her when the time came. Right now he just wanted to relax as he usually did with the necromancer. Sitting down beside her, he chuckled. "Of course every female wants my attention. It is part of what I am, an Incubi."

“You are quite mistaken, though, Lucien,” Ayvajin said with a laugh before sitting back and relaxing in the sand. “You came after me. You were attracted to me first, which you know is true. I am just here to go along for the ride. I could leave if I truly wanted to.”
The necromancer looked out toward the water with a smile slipping over her lips. The truth was, she did not want to leave the incubus. She enjoyed his company greatly, and she wanted to keep this interaction up. The king of the incubi was rather charming and surprisingly rather caring.
“But what makes the queen of the succubi hate me so?” she asked suddenly, looking to Lucien. “It is more than just not being with you. She has never been with you, and she has learned to live with it. Why is she suddenly so quick to act now that I have been thrown into the picture?”

Lucien chuckled as he tilted his head back to look up at the sky, leaning back on one arm as the other came up to rest on his bended knee. "She hates you because she is not in your position, because I choose to spend time with you rather than her. She also is jealous of any female who catches my attention outside of a simple feeding," here he shrugged before continuing.
"Fixatia is a jealous, selfish and snobbish creature. She believes the whole world should be handed to her on a silver platter and that everyone should obey her whims, no matter if it is to her benefit or not. She behaves like a spoiled brat, believing she is perfect and irresistible to all, so it bothers her greatly that I want nothing to do with her," he said, a hint of the anger from before leaking in as he spoke of her.

“Have you ever just sat her down and talked to the girl?” Ayvajin questioned. The necromancer was never one to just assume the worst out of anyone. She always gave a stranger a chanse to make a person impression upon her. She would treat the queen of the succubi no differently than a stranger she would meet upon the street even though the queen wanted her dead. The necromancer looked for the best out of everyone, and it was hard for her to believe that Fixatia’s problems were just of jealousy.
“Perhaps, her behavior can be changed. You never know really. Maybe she is still fixable.”
