Fairies come in four types: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire. Their magic is unique to the type and it depends on what their job is. Earth fairies help the plants grow and tend to the land animals. Water fairies bring the rain and snow as well as tending to marine animals and being healers. Wind fairies tend to the winds, aiding in the pollination of crops as well as aiding sailors and the wind animals. Fire fairies are the ones responsible for warmth, protection, and the creation of tools to be used. They are the ones who gave fire to humans and other species.

Physical Features:

Fairies are four to five feet tall. Their type is determined by their wing color, Fires having reds and oranges, Wind being silver, Water being Blues, and Earth being Greens. They are mischievous creatures with pointed ears and mean no harm with their tricks. They have two wings on their back, letting them fly around and often not seen.

Historical Background:

Fairies have been around for the longest time, helping out with other creatures in getting races started. They take oaths seriously and there have been unfortunate consequences for those that break the oaths to the fairies. There is also a lucrative business going in the catching and selling of the fairies.
