Abilities:

All dwarves are master craftsmen with gold, silver, mithril, and jewels. Possess above human strength. Grey dwarves can only see in the Infrared spectrum.

Only from the gods or goddesses they serve and then it is only among the priests and priestesses.

Physical Features:

Dwarves are small, squat creatures that are no larger than 4 feet tall. They are muscle bound and possess superior strength to many other creatures. Their hair and eye colors are those found in nature: red, blonde, black, brown. Eyes can be blue or green in addition.

Grey dwarves are monochromatic, meaning their skin is ashen in color and their hair and beards are either gray, white, or black. Their eyes are a constant glowing red so they can see in the infrared spectrum (only way they can see).

Historical Background:

Surface dwarves or "Dwarves" are the most common type of dwarf found, a prideful race that once peacefully co-existed with the gray dwarves. The gray dwarves are often close allies with the Drow and when the Drow were driven to the Underdark, the gray dwarves soon followed. They have become wicked and often fight with the surface dwarves and other races that manage to come down below the surface.
