The King of the Incubi had a scowl marring his handsome features as he listened to the petty squabblings of two of the younger Incubi about some woman that each one had lay claim to, only to find out that she had already been visited by an older one. He ran a hand through his hair as he listened to the pointless arguments before raising a hand to silence them.
He looked at both of them levelly and with a firm glare, a tone that brooked no argument, "She has already been claimed, now move on and find other feedings in opposite areas from each other," he said firmly.
This was the minor part he hated about playing king. The dealing with internal rivalry and strife and being "fair" about it. He sighed as he dismissed them, sending them off to do their biddings and whims while he remained here, watching them go off. He still thought of the necromancer and visited her when he could, but he had to deal with this and couldn't visit her every night and feed but he tried.
He did miss her now and thought about her, a gentle smile making its way on his lips before he shook his head and stood, stretching his muscles out and beginning to walk around.

Ayvajin had entered Abourno a few hours ago. She had some dealings with an angelic that she had to attend to. The necromancer had been to the mountain city a few times before. She had plenty of friends here who welcomed her into their homes every time she came to the city.
Ayvajin now found herself walking upon one of the less used streets of Abourno. She did not mind the roughness of the stones set in place. That was just one of the challenges she had to go through when it came to traveling upon this particular road. The road weaved around the edge of the city, but it held one of the more captivating views.
The necromancer stopped after walking a bit on the road. At this point in the city, one could easily look out and see the mountains below and in the distance. Ayvajin enjoyed the view to its fullest. She sat down upon one of the boulders, crossing her leg over her knee.
Sitting there upon the stone did not bother her in the least bit even in the dress she wore. Her dress was fashioned much like the angelic ladies’ dresses. The dress was white with no sleeves and a low back. There was a large white ribbon that went around her waist and tied in the back. Her skirts fell down to above her knees and were made out of a lit fabric. Ayvajin was also wearing white sandals that laced up to her knees. Her long black hair was tied up in a ponytail with a white ribbon.
Ayvajin let out a soft sigh and a smile as her cold blue eyes looked over the scenery below the mountain city of Abourno.

Lucien perked up a bit when he felt he pull of the necromancer's energy, letting him know she was here. He turned and followed the invisible thread, leading it to the trail above her. Smiling he waited a moment before he spoke. "Enjoying the view, little necromancer?" he asked before moving around to where she could see him.
He was dressed casually for this climate, it was enough to blend in so he wouldn't cause suspicion but enough that it was definitely his style, even despite the lack of flair he preferred. He sent her a warm smile before standing next to her.

Ayvajin smiled when she heard the incubus’s voice. She straightened up a little bit more as he came around and stood beside her. The necromancer could not help but to enjoy spending time with the king of the incubi. So, whenever he seemed to come out of nowhere, she became rather happy.
“I am enjoying the view, dear Lucien,” she said with a smile as her eyes studied the incubus. “Have you come here to pester me?”
The necromancer stood up and stretched out her arms above her head for a moment before, stepping over to Lucien. She slipped her arms around his neck as she leaned up against his body and kissed his lips.
“I think I might have missed you.”

He returned the kiss and pulled back slightly, his hands resting on her hips. "You think? Perhaps I will stay away longer, then we shall see if you have an actual idea," he said with a rakish grin. Giving her another chaste kiss, he pulled away again to continue speaking.
"And no, I was not stalking you, as you so often put it. I had been called to sort out a matter of claiming between two younger Incubi and there had already been another claim," he said, the scowl from earlier passing over his features again for a brief moment before he let a smile slip over his lips as he faced her again.

“Sure,” she said with a laugh. “They were just conveniently in Abourno having their little argument. Of course.” Ayvajin gave another laugh before stepping back from Lucien. She slowly moved her arms away, letting her hands brush up against the incubus’s cheeks before falling to her sides. The necromancer’s eyes shifted over to the scenery below the mountain for a moment before looking back to Lucien.
“So, what might the king of the incubi be up to now?” she asked, putting her hands behind her back as her eyes stared up curiously. “Out on a night on the town?”

He shrugged, looking out over the town with a raised eyebrow as he crossed his arms over his chest, watching the people move about. "I have a few more squabbles to take care of then I was planning on overseeing the hatchlings, but that can always be done later," he said as he turned to watch her.
"Unless of course, you wish me to go so you can decide if you actually miss my presence or not," he teased gently as he reached over and brushed a loose strand of hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear.

Ayvajin gave a smile. “I would like to go,” she said. “You talk an awful lot about such things. You should just drag me along with you. I suppose I will have to get use to your duties anyways if you are to stick around. Not to mention that I am rather curious to see what it is that the king of the incubi does.”
The necromancer stepped forward, wrapping her arm around one of Lucien’s arms. “You just have to lead the way. I will be in your hands, dear Lucien.” She leaned up and kissed his cheek.

He looked at her, giving her a neutral look as he weighed his options about it before beginning to walk with her in tow. He was headed away from the towns and back up towards the summit of the mountain, following the energy paths that some of the others had laid out for him. When the King said he would listen, you came to him, he did not go to you.
Reaching the summit, he sat the necromancer down on a rock, instructing her to not speak unless he spoke to her or gave her permission for they were in his Court now and followed his rules. Sitting on another rock higher up than hers, he beckoned forth the first squabble that was presented to him.
They spoke in their own language, seeing as not all of them were fluent in the Common Surface Tongue for in dreams they had no need of it. The cases were presented rapidly and he made his judgment and while no one was entirely happy, they did not argue for he was not harsh, but listened equally to both sides.

The necromancer sat quietly where Lucien had sat her down upon the rock. She crossed her legs at the ankles, watching as the incubi went about their business. She felt quite like the outcast just sitting there and not saying anything. She did not understand anything that passed through their mouths. All she could do was watch and listen, picking up only a few different tones.
Ayvajin let out a slow sigh, crossing her right leg over her left. She leaned back on the rock, balancing herself with her hands that held firmly to the sides of the rock.

They finished quickly, the younger ones flying back out before the older ones sat there, shaking their heads and switching into a language the necromancer could understand before they went about their business, coming forth with the naming of the hatchlings and when it would be alright to assign them instructors and who would be the best instructors. It was all mundane drivel that had to be taken care of and they knew it, but they were bound by custom and had to take care of it.
When it was finally taken care of, and the last stray Incubi gone off to tend to his nightly needs, Lucien sat there for a moment, unmoving as the rock he was sitting on as he reigned in his thoughts and emotions, the vague irritation that came with the territory of being king.
"I am sorry if we bored you, necromancer," he said as he finally shifted, looking to her with an apologetic smile. "But unfortunately my life is not as glamorous as you may have thought."

The necromancer gave a slight sigh as she straightened up a bit from where she sat. “I was not bored,” she said with a slight smile. “No worries, there. I keep myself pretty entertained with my own thoughts. So, do not fret.”
Ayvajin thought for another moment. “So, is this what it would be like to be married to you and watching you do your business? Sitting here quietly like some sort of pretty decoration?”
She gave a laugh unable to help herself. No, she had not been thinking about being married to the incubus, but she felt like anyone he would choose for such a position would be stuck at his side being quiet.

"Hopefully not. I do not even think we can be married, it would be too much for us," he chuckled. "And I cannot step down gracefully, someone has to kill me to take my place or I die and an internal squabble takes place to determine who will rule."
Standing he made his way over to her and leaned down, cradling her face in his hand before he gave her a firm kiss on her lips. "Besides, I believe I'm rumored to be married to the Queen of the Succubi. Although I remember no such thing happening," he said with a rakish grin across his lips.

“Well, if you do not remember it happening, then it did not,” Ayvajin said gently as her eyes flicked over Lucien’s facial features before kissing him once more. The necromancer gave a smile.
She slipped an arm around Lucien’s neck, holding him there in front of her. “You do not have to follow all of the norms of your society,” she said to him. “You are the king; you can easily change the traditional. You are your own person, the last time I checked. You act according to what you want. So, do what you want, King Lucien.”

"I already do, but there were customs laid down and they have worked out. It is what we have all grown up under and are used to, so why change it?" he asked with a smirk on her face as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Leaning down and taking her lips in another kiss, this time with a bit more passion to it, he cradled her against his body with a firm hold, preferring being able to hold her against his body for the time being, while they were still together. It was a small thing he could do, and she had let him do it before.

Ayvajin reached a hand up and twisted it in Lucien’s hair. “And about the rumored to be married to the queen of the succubi?” she said, eyebrow arched slightly. “Do let people know that is false, or do you just let everyone believe what they want to believe?”
Her eyes studied the incubus thoroughly. “And does the queen know about this or is she the one spreading the rumor?” Ayvajin asked with a slight laugh. What trouble this incubus could bring her. Yet, the necromancer did not mind. She was too glad to be around the king even it it would cause her to have problems down the line.

"She may very well be it or it may be something that is expected of us. After all, she is the reverse of me, feeding on all the men she wants and desires, no matter what her needs may be. As far as I am concerned, there never was a marriage between us that I am aware of, so she may be the one who feels as if we are married since she is Queen and I am King," he said with a dismissive shrug.
"However, I hold no special feelings for her since she is more often than not a thorn in my side," Lucien continued as he gave her another kiss, smoothing her hair out of her face.
