There are many different rankings for werewolves. Majority of the rankings deal with werewolves that are of the pack. Not all werewolves belong the pack at large and any werewolves who are not of the pack are considered lone wolves.
Alphas - Alpha werewolves are in command of the entire pack. The pack must listen to whatever the alphas command. Failure to listen to an alpha's order could lead to being exiled from the pack. Alpha werewolves usually have a mate, so traditionally there are two alphas for every pack.
Betas - Beta werewolves are second in command. They are left in charge when alphas are not present. Like alphas, betas usually have mates so there is usually two betas for every pack.
Delta - Delta werewolves are the rankings beneath the betas. There is only one delta for each pack. The delta can be either female or male. The delta is a spokesperson for the pack. He or she will be sent out in place for the alpha if the alpha is unable to go to official meetings with other nations. The delta also acts like a scholar, taking in knowledge of each place that he or she goes to.
Sentinels - Sentinels are pack members who are responsible for patrolling the pack territory. If an outsider who is not apart of the enemy pack approaches the territory, the sentinels are to greet the outsider and find out what they want.
Soldiers - Soldiers are werewolves who go out to fight battles for their pack. They are usually the ones who are sent out to start a fight or to protect the pack.
Scouts - Scouts are the ones who report to the heads of the pack if danger arrises. They inform of any enemy movement.
Healers - Healers are werewolves who take care of the injuried of the pack. They will take care of any broken limbs, cuts, and the like.
Regular Pack Members - Regular pack members are those who hold no rank. They fall under everyone except the omega.
Omega - The omega werewolf holds the lowest rank in the pack. Though, the omega holds the lowest rank he or she is still greatly respected.
Abilities:
Werewolves depend on brute strength to protect themselves.
Werewolves have the power to shape shift. They have three forms that they can shift into. They have a humanoid form which is their first form. When they are in their humanoid form, they appear to be human. Their second form they can shift into is that of a wolf. The last form is their beast form. The beast form is a mix between their human and wolf forms. The beast form is characterized with a bigger build body with claws for the hands and a snout like face.
At times of the full moon, werewolves must shapeshift into one of their forms. The full moon is not the only phase of the moon that they acknowledge, though. Werewolves find the moon to be very symbolic, and during new moons and some full moons ceremonies like weddings are held.
Powers:
Werewolves have no magical strength.
Physical Features:
Werewolves look much like humans in appearance but are slightly taller. Their nails are also left sharp. Their teeth are more like those of wolves.
