It was night, and it seemed the only thing that shined was the ground. It had gotten so dark here, with no lanterns to illuminate the sky,or anything. A cold wind chilled through the area, and it seemed that it would whisper as it hit the land. Beckoning, whispering, calling. The land was cold, and it seemed not even a touch of gods could melt the frost and sadness that surrounded this ice. No civilization went on for miles, and loneliness seemed to be the only thing that accompanied any traveler through this waste-land. Another cold wind came by, whipping around a figure, it seemed to dance around the figure, slowing down as it fell.
The figure had been of a woman, and it was only a shadow. Who would be out this far at night..wait, who would be out this far at all, walking towards the civilization. Some one as pale as the snow beneath her feet. Most would mistake her for a vampire. But not, her heart might have been cold, but it was not dead. No not dead at all, it still beat through to her chest, no matter how much she tried to lock it away.
Her cold blue eyes had shined through the darkness, and her long black hair had been pushed back against the wind. She was not a vampire; but she hadn’t been human, she may have looked like it. But she was far from it. This was Youko, she had been traveling to civilization..traveling to people. Was it a good idea..she didn’t know. It could end bad, but she didn’t care. Her long trench coat had been unzipped, the bone chilling wind didn't bother her anymore. She stared forward as she walked, the wind pushing past her trench coat and hair, causing them to fly back.
