The tunnels were quiet except the constant sound of metal clashing on metal. If you couldn't see in the dark the only thing you'd be able to see is four pairs of red eyes, three snake like and the last pair a rich bright blood red color. Three Lamias were attacking a Drew warrior in Black leather armor with a helmet on. As the drew moved the Lamias seemed to move with him and stay a good distance back then strike. Arisa had both his swords out and was rapidly parring the strikes from the Lamias and striking back at them when he had the chance. Arisa could easily finish them off by Dark globing the place then striking with speed but he was fighting more for fun then any thing else. He had traveled the tunnels in hope of finding stuff and was unsuccessful until now.
Arisa clipped one of the Lamias shoulders and it let out a shriek as it got enraged and charged Arisa. Arisa jumped to the side of the charge and stabbed the Lamia in the head. He ripped the blade upwards, decapitating the Lamia as the other two prepared to charge at the same time. Arisa smirked underneath the helmet and shot a globe of darkness out, blinding everything in the area. he quickly lunged at were he remembered the Lamias were and struck one in the chest as he brought the small blade and hacked at it's body. The third and now last living Lamia in the group lunged at Arisa and stabbed him in his right shoulder. Arisa yelled from pain and spun around and cleaved it's head off with both swords.
Arisa dragged the Lamias dead bodies out of the globe of darkness and searched them. He found empty vials and a set of daggers on one but the other two held nothing of interest. Arisa stood up from the bodies and looked at the wound in his shoulder. It looked bad but it wasn't as bad as it seemed do to the armor he wore. He undid a piece of cloth that was hanging from his neck like a scarf and wrapped it around the wound as he set the bodies and heads up against the cave wall and moved back against the opposite one. He sat down and waited for a creature to be lured to the bodies so he could then attack that one.

It wasn't often that the high priestess took to the tunnels alone. Often she had someone accompanying her because she was in such an important position, but this time the need for solitude escaped all proper decorum and etiquette. Not that there really was much etiquette in the drow society outside of obeying the females.
The high priestess shook her head, clearing it of her thoughts as she stepped quietly through the tunnels. The echoing of metal caught her attention and she stopped, tilting her head to the side as she began to trace and follow the echoes to their original starting point.
Her eyes glowed with a hint of violet from the infrared spectrum as she stayed near the walls, watching the fight with amusement in her eyes. She observed the fighter and the Lamias, taking note of the actions. It was obvious it was a male drow and she had no problem with this, she thought as she dispelled her own magical aura that had built up as a defense. It would amuse her to see how long the male waited before noticing the high priestess was present.

Arisa d' vlos stayed hidden for some time but no creatures took the bait. Many creatures had passed by it but it seems as if they were suspicious of their deaths. He walked up to the bodies as he crumpled them close to each other so they now formed a ball of dead Lamia. He was planning on going home and leaving the place when he caught a glimpse of something from his eye. He drew both his swords before he saw the other drow completely and pointed them at the drow. His eyes went wide in his helmet as he put the swords away, realizing who he had pointed the swords to.
His heart beat fast as he dropped to one knee and knelt at her. he hung his head but peaked his eyes through his helmet at her, His red eyes showing. His eyes quickly looked down to the ground though and shunned himself for pointing weapons at the high priestess of the drows. "My apologies, high priestess. I wasn't expecting people to be near, please forgive my rudeness."

A delicate white eyebrow arched as she watched him, arms crossed over her chest and a hip stuck out to the side. She moved only to tuck a strand of white hair behind her ear as she weighed her next words carefully before speaking them. "No, I suppose you did not, warrior," she said thoughtfully as she shifted on her feet. "Your rudeness is forgiven because you have genuine surprise splayed across your actions. It was a fairly good battle to watch, all things considered."
The high priestess was not in a mood to start conflict, no matter how many other females would have whipped the male for his display of rudeness, she was not one to trifle with survival skills, having learned them rather well in her younger years. "Stand and stay on your guard, the tunnels are no place to be on the ground."

Arisa let out a low sigh of relief since he was not going to be punished. He stood up now and drew the dagger from it's holder into the right sleeve of his armor. "I am aware of the dangers of the tunnels and ever so aware..until now. Thank you for sparing me though." he said very respectfully and patiently with the words he spoke. His bright red blood eyes scanned the darkness again, seeing nothing. He then looked back at the high priestess's feet. "Why are you so far out in the tunnels, if you don't mind me asking?" He added the last part hastily so he wouldn't end up getting himself in trouble like he mostly did.

"You mean without an escort," she stated as she watched him with amusement dancing in her eyes. Azazealyn was more than capable of taking care of herself, but of course the smallest mistake could end up with one dead. The tunnels were far more hazardous than anything the surface could offer, but they were a race that had developed into creatures the tunnels could not always win against.
"I am out here simply because I choose to be," she said as she summoned her smaller spider companion to her, the creature scurrying up her leg to perch on her shoulder, seeming to clack its pincers together at the male drow as it settled down. Her companions were known for their venom as well as being within quick answering distance of the high priestess, never at all far away.
"I see no reason to always have an escort with me, most things will not attack a drow, few will attack a female, and an even smaller number will take on a priestess, male," she said, her tone the slightest bit condescending even though it was obvious she was the younger party. Such was the nature of the drow, females held absolute power once they were old enough to understand how the society worked.

Arisa d' vlos put his hands up in a non threatening gesture as the high priestess's pet snapped it's claws at him. He still wasn't in danger of anything coming from the sides though since he still he a knife up his sleeve. He grinned within his helmet. "I know that few creatures would attack a drow high priestess but they could think it's me. I'm here a lot and it seems I'm known to a lot of Lamias and they'd like to kill me. They could jump at you like i accidentally have done so not long ago because i didn't see you."
He put his hands to his side and went back to the spot he crouched in and gathered the belt with knives tucked in it that he got from one of the Lamias. He hung it around his waist and quickly moved the knives so the sharpest were now at the right and the duller ones were at the left.

Azazealyn smiled, amusement dancing across her features. "Of course, I have more of a magical aura than you do, so they would have to be in a blind rage in order to attack me, male. There is a very large difference between me and you, most creatures can tell the difference easily."
The priestess was growing restless with this conversation, she had left society to avoid anymore drow for the moment. Of course, everyone in the city wanted advice or they wanted to speak with Amaji about is plan for attacking the surface. It was such a tiring position, that she was gone much more frequently and for longer than she normally was.

Arisa d' vlos tilted his head to the side as she continued to call him male, then again how would she know of his name? He suppressed a sigh as he drew back the cloth wrapped around his blank metal helmet and took his helmet off as he bowed his head. His white hair fell around his face but most of it was stuck behind his ears as his blood red eyes looked at the ground in front of her feet. "I am Arisa d' Vlos, or the stalker of blood."
He stood up normally again and pushed his hair back behind his ears and put his helmet on as he also put the cloth back on. All of his face was once again hidden behind the blank metal face helmet, all except his eyes.

Azazealyn nodded, storing the name as lavender eyes flashed over his features briefly. It would not be forgotten quickly, but she knew who he was now and would keep that in mind. "You obviously know who I am, so there is no need for me to repeat myself," she said with an amused smile. Yes, everyone knew her because she was the high priestess, with her job came the responsibility of having everyone know her.
"What brings you to the tunnels, since you said you frequent them so often, Arisa," she asked as she arched an amused delicate white eyebrow.

Arisa laughed as he was amused by the question. "I visit the tunnels to explore more and get free stuff on my way," he pointed to the knives wrapped around his waist "like these knives." He then shrugged. "That and it's been getting duller in my line of work as more soldiers are becoming warriors then raiders." He then smirked. "I'm also out here because i choose to be." he said finding the words she answered his question with.
He looked around the dark tunnels and sighed softly. Their were no creatures coming and that is the main reason he was here now. Arisa wanted to find a Lamia group that didn't catch him then follow them back to their home land and come back and report the position, or raid it by himself.
