Her mind is a maelstrom of thought, always churning with new ideas and curious inquiries. She loves the sea, the tides, and the beauty of music. She's fascinated by all instruments, but the most beautiful music to her is the changing of the tides and the whispers of the waves.
She's reserved on the outside to most. She says very little, and she keeps her true nature to herself until she's comfortable enough.
History:
Lorelei was born off the shores of Liadi, with her other sisters, and she lived there for two centuries, singing, laughing and exploring the seas. She was care-free and simple, and she longed for nothing more than the love of her sisters and the comfort their presence gave her. Eventually, she fell in love with her sister Seline, who returned it. They hid it from their other sisters, and they feigned sisterly love, when beneath the surface, it was much more. They sang to one another when alone, and they hid in coves and sea caves to evade prying eyes from their forbidden conduct.
It wasn't long before their other sisters discovered the truth, and they were both banished from the sea, handed over to a band of pirates, where they endured at the hands of men. It wasn't long before it was too much to bear, and they tried to escape. Upon the deck, the lookout caught Lorelei; Seline fought to set her sister free, and in the struggle and ensuing chaos of the men emerging onto the decks, Lorelei was pushed overboard, into foreign seas.
She found shore upon Bellevin, but she never found Seline. The head of the Bellevin tavern found her wandering throughout the city, and he made her his singer the Crimson Rum, and on the side, he forced her to give special attention to his well-paying guests. For the past twenty years, Lorelei has been the pleasure of the Crimson Rum.
