Asher laughed and shook her head. "If I did, I would have kissed you by now and we'd be naked and in bed," she pointed out dryly. She knew how to play the game with the best of them. "And no, I won't give you credit unless you earn it," she shot back as she stuck her tongue out in retaliation at him.
She brushed her hair off her shoulders again so it trailed down her back in dirty blonde waves, swaying with her movements and ghosting along her skin, giving glimpses of her back as she walked.

"Who said I wanted to sleep with you?" Herrick asked with an eyebrow raised. "I don't even know your real name. What would I cry out during sex? Lies?"
The werewolf shook his head, giving a slight smile. He had self control despite what this girl seemed to think. If he didn't want to sleep with her, he would not. He was able to pick and choose the girls who he had a desire to sleep with.
"You seem just to want to be difficult. You followed me out here, so there much be something of interest here for you."

"Maybe I have my own designs. You seem to think highly of yourself thinking that I want to sleep with you. And my interests are my own, nothing more and nothing less," she said as she veered off the path to follow a smaller, more well hidden path that paralleled the main path.
It was made for pacing the intruders since it was hard to find and you could see the intruder but not the other way around. She hummed as she trailed her fingers over the leaves and over hanging weeds, plucking a bright flower and twirling the stem in her hands before tucking it into her hair, placing it behind her ear.

The werewolf followed after Asher, shaking his head slightly. His eyes darted around for a moment, taking in his surroundings. Herrick was never really worried about getting attacked and harm. However, he was rather observant which probably helped to keep him safe.
"Then, where do you lead me to, tiny one?" the male werewolf asked with a smile as he continued to walk in Asher's wake. "You must have somewhere in mind. You walk with purpose. So, you should just allow me to know instead of continuing to hide your intentions in a cloud of mystery."

Asher merely smiled, one that showed she knew everything but wasn't going to speak it, as she looked back over her shoulder at the much taller werewolf. "Maybe I choose not to let you know in order to see what your reaction is. Much of what people see is spoiled by what has been told to them. They go in with judgment and are blinded from true beauty, Herrick," she said with a light laugh.
The tiny island native pushed forward, barefeet making no sound on the dirt path, instead following the dips and curves with steps that made her hair sway behind her in enticing movements that were entirely unconscious. She moved through the trees as if she belonged there as well, her destination was still unknown to the werewolf, and she kept it that way for the time being.
It took another few minutes before they suddenly broke the treeline onto one of the more secluded lagoons and Asher motioned for him to be silent, instead pointing down to where some of the sirens and mermaids were playing. It was a beautiful sight in and of itself, had not the fantastical creatures been there. Asher knew all of them who were there and had had many conversations with them, out of curiosity.
They had welcomed the girl with open arms since she had been a lonely child and was genuinely curious about them and their world, so Asher could tell about their cultures as well as her own.

The werewolf followed the human to where she wanted him to be. He looked out at the lagoon. His eyes shifted over his surroundings, taking in all the details that he could before looking back over to Asher.
"I hoped that you didn't want me to see just sirens and mermaids," he said to her, voice low to where only she could hear. He gave a smile and a shake of his head. "They are not what interest me at the moment. Especially the ones with the tails." His eyes moved back over to look at the lagoon.

Asher smiled lightly and shook her head, walking a ways past the lagoon. The water creatures were content in their play and took no notice of the two land creatures as they passed. The small human was still quiet though, not wishing to speak before she ducked back under an over hanging of vines.
"Whoever said I was going to show you anything?" she asked lightly, her voice drifting back from the soft darkness she had disappeared into. The vines acted as a cover over a small tunnel of rock that led under the lagoon and to the other side, on seeming island. Here it was quiet and beautiful, an undisturbed beauty that anyone could appreciate.
It was also blissfully devoid of any people and Asher smiled gently. This was her private area, that only two others knew about until now. Now four people knew of it. This was her true home, where she had spent much of her time. "You are merely following me."

"You took the lead from me, dear," the male werewolf said as he continued to follow after her. "The true question is, why did you take the lead from me if you were not planning on showing me anything?"
Herrick smiled, enjoying this little game that Asher seemed to make up as she went on her way. He was interested in seeing what she really wanted from him if she wanted anything at all. He assumed that it was something, since she had led him to such a secluded area.

"You pulled me out of the bar, Herrick," she said with a laugh as she tilted her head back. "Then you followed me. I live here, so you followed me to my home. There must be something you want from me," she said with a laugh as she perched on a rock near a quiet pool by one of the small waterfalls.
"Unless you are going to claim everything as a big misunderstanding and that you were under the assumption that I was to show you something?" she laughed, tossing her hair over her shoulder with a flip of her head.
Violet eyes watched him curiously, paying attention to his reactions and actions to what she was doing in the even that someone asked her about the werewolf later. "Of course, you are welcome to explore whatever you wish to."

“Oh, no, I will not claim this as all a misunderstanding,” Herrick said with a smile. “Not at all. You brought me out here for some reason. I wish you would just admit it instead of continuously playing games.”
The male werewolf stepped up to the much smaller human and looked down to her. A clever little smile moved across his lips as his eyes inspect her own. His mind seemed to be turning as his thoughts went to work. There was something going on in her head, and he knew it despite how she seemed to come off.
“Really, I only wish to explore one thing,” he said, amusement ringing in his voice. With a quick movement, the werewolf leaned down and slipped a quick arm around the tiny girl’s frame. He left a deep, overwhelming kiss upon her lips before moving back to stare down at her.

Asher arched an eyebrow and had been on the verge of retaliation when he had kissed her. It had been fast and sudden to the point of she hadn't quite reacted the way she should have. When he pulled away, her lips were red from the suddenness of it.
Pushing her hair behind her shoulders again, she arched her eyebrow. "I maintain my innocence," she said with a light laugh as she moved to stand up, propping a hand on her hip as she gave him a challenging look. "As I said before, you just want to sleep with me."

Herrick studied the human before giving a laugh and a shake of his head. His eyes flashed over her facial features, taking in every detail. There was no true innocent behind those eyes of hers. There was mystery; there was something more to the girl.
“What innocence do you have to maintain?” the werewolf questioned with a raised eyebrow as he continued to observe her. “I really think you want to sleep with me, so you are using some sort of mind trick on me. You are leading me on, but not admitting it to me.”

Asher laughed, tossing her head back and shaking it, amusement dancing in her eyes and complete posture. She arched an eyebrow as she moved to look at the werewolf again, smiling. "If I wanted to sleep with you, I would have made it well known at the bar," she said as she ran a hand through her hair.
"I have nothing that I have a need to ask you for, Herrick," she said with a laugh. "Why do you insist on me needing something from you or wanting something from you?" she asked as she drew closer to him so she was standing directly in front of him, a breath away from touching.

Herrick’s eyes flashed with amusement as he watched the small human move up close to him. “You don’t have to sleep with me for information,” the werewolf told her with a laugh and a shake of his head. “Of course, like you said, if you wanted to sleep with me, you would have made that clear.”
He leaned down and kissed her lips quickly. His nipped at her bottom lip before quickly moving away and sitting down. He stretched out his arms above his head before relaxing back against the ground, comfortable.

Asher laughed, shaking her head as she watched him. They were dancing a sort of tango, blurring the lines a bit and stepping over them before stepping back just as quickly. It was a game she could play well, she thought as a smile curved her lips. She quickly bit her bottom lip, drawing it under before the smile got any bigger as she moved to lean against a tree.
"So, Herrick, what brings you down to these lonely islands? Surely it can't be the bars, you can find those on the mainland," she laughed as she watched him.

“I thought I told you, hun, why I am here in Liadi,” Herrick said, smiling up at Asher. His eyes wandered over her frame. “I am here to relax. The mainland is a bit hectic at the moment, and I really just want to relax here for a while. Enjoy the beaches and the ocean.”
The werewolf was being honest. He had left the mainland for a while to simply enjoy the island. Things were much less hectic on the island. It seemed that the people here were much too busy with their sea work to care to quarrel with each other, but this would change. Herrick had a feeling that conflicted on the island would soon be erupting like it had on the mainland.
