The light whistling crept through the air, chirping where the birds would no longer chirp. The moon was high and the sun was gone, and amongst the middle of a crowd of trees was an unusual sight. The vampire with his arms moving to the tune he whistled, three balls amongst his arms as he juggled in the blackness of the forest. His eyes lightly shut for a moment as he seemed to strut down an undesignated pathway. No fault was made in his juggling motions, pausing with one hand before continuing again as he hopped over a fallen tree stump, not faltering in the slight.
The vampires eyes flashed open at a sound to peer out into the darkness. Vision narrowing slightly into a bush before a tiny shadow fell out before scurrying away. The tilt of his lips quirked upwards as he peered out where the little one was, then continued on his way. Reno may seem as if he was lost in his own little world, but any sound or breath would be heard by his attuned ears, which almost seemed to flicker slightly at every rustle. He walked without a single sound despite the leaves that filtered the earthen ground. Eyes looking around as he juggled with both arms freely. The tune still escaping at the same pace, seeming to now have a care in the world.

Okay, so pissing off that last assassin when he'd come to her for information hadn't been the greatest idea, she mused as she was dragged along by a rather slimy looking man with greasy dark hair and a rather nasty looking scar bisecting his face. She'd of course been the one to attract trouble and this time it seemed like trouble would get the last laugh.
Rolling her eyes again, she managed to make this whole little journy as noisy and clumsy as possible, tripping over every tree root, stepping on every loud branch, basically silently being a smartass while he continued to fume. She'd had a valid point about exchanging information in a crowded pub and he hadn't been too happy, mostly because a woman had pointed it out. What was with sexist men?
She sighed loudly, purposely stepping on another loud branch, sending a reverberating crack throughout the forest. Apparently the rat-man had had enough. He turned on her and grabbed both of her upper arms, shaking the tiny woman once, twice, and a third time for good measure. "What are you about? Trying to die?" he hissed.
The firey islander glared right back. "No, I'm just figuring out which branches have the best crack," she spat back.

Reno was strolling in the dark corners of the forest when he heard a bunch of racket. Both brows shot up as he turned his head in the direction of the tiny human and scumbag. Pausing his juggling for a moment as he stared almost contemplating on moving over there before a sigh escaped his lips. Might as well, after all, perhaps it could end up being entertaining, the forest sure as hell was not. Whistling he began moving, with the precision of a stroll but much faster to the human eye.
The vampire was leaning against a tree juggling once more, his eyes watching the charade as the scumbag shook the tiny human. Reno looked up at his juggling balls, which were heavy with rocks inside. What else would he use? Not as though he had much money. Abruptly with advance strength he tossed one and hit the guy square in the temple. The scent of blood instantly filtering the air as the guy fell down onto the ground, probably dropping the human instantly.
He was still standing juggling two balls and watching her with a sudden spark in his dark eyes. “Well aren’t you an interesting find, Definitely so. Shouldn’t you be home where it’s nice and safe, human?” There was obvious amusement to his tone as he spoke to her, his body mostly covered in the shadows. Eyes glanced away to look at the other with a small sneer. Obviously he was either knocked out or dead, a blow like that to the temple could conjure both. Not that he cared.

"As opposed to what?" she asked, pushing herself off the ground and dusting off her pants legs. "Being out here, dragged around by an assassin who hopefully wasn't going to kill me since I had information he needed?" she said, shooting the vampire a clearly sarcastic look.
"I can take care of myself, so run along and find someone else to pester," she said, making a shooing motion with her hand as she turned on a heel, heading back the way she came. Why did she always seem to attract the weird ones? she wondered.
She pushed the long strands of hair off her shoulders to trail behind her back, delicately stepping over the roots she had been tripping over not moments before.

Reno grinned at her sharp tongue, watching her turn to leave as the scent of the blood mixed in the air with her scent. Hmm. Intriguing. The vampire flashed away and stood infront of her a few meters, having since picked up his other juggling ball that had the hue of maroon on it now. Continuing the motions as he kept his eyes on her ,a dull look appearing. “You do realize.. “ He paused and tilted his head back to mimick sniffing the air before his eyes fell onto hers once more. “he would have killed you. Obviously you have no sense of self worth, Running around and shunning the only being who actually cared enough to save you.” He was babbling as his eyes began to turn slightly red, watching her carefully. "Because you'd rather not see all that blood go to waste?" she shot back, not really caring at the moment as she stoped moving and glared at the vampire now in front of her, blocking the path. There was no use in trying to run or fight, the best she could do would be to play his game. And playing games was something she did rather well.
"And you're not the only being," she muttered irritably with a petulant look on her face as she thought of the daemon. Who would surely be chastising her for doing what she was right now. "Not like I'd have anyone to miss me," she said as she regained her control and sarcastic tone.

Reno rolled his eyes, leaning back against the tree with his eyes down on the tiny human. “Vampires rarely drink dead blood. It seems to cool and thicken too quickly.. Actually..” His eyes drawled down the length of her body with a smirk appearing. “I definitely prefer my dinner live. Much more fun to chase them around..Definitely.” He chuckled to himself before tilting away from the tree and taking a step closer to her slowly. A ‘tsktsk’ sound coming from his lips at her last words. “Aww. Poor dear Asher. Pity you. No one to miss you? No one to hear you scream? Please. Self pity is so disgusting, get over it.” A slight scowl came over his lips as he took a slow side step. Keeping his eyes locked to her face. And, Telepathy is a beautiful thing, unless they're thoughts are scorned with pity. Not pleasant or happy in any way.

Asher carefully kept her mind blank, well speaking in a language that definitely wasn't heard on land, was blank for her. Her thoughts were always difficult to read mostly because they were going so fast and in so many different languages. Someone had once likened her to a djinn, with how fast her mind worked. Now, if only she had the powers.
"No one present, jackass," she said, her accent flavoring her words as she looked defiantly back at him, her entire attitude and posture screaming that she was already bored with him and this whole situation. It wasn't like she was threatened every day, no that couldn't be it, she thought sarcastically, still keeping her thoughts in another language.
"And who said there was anything of self-pity and that bullshit? I had a baby-sitter who would surely be quite pissed off with me for getting in this situation. Now, would you either kindly play out this little drama already or leave me alone," she said, propping a hand on her hip as she regarded the daemon with bored violet eyes.

Amusement flickered in his eyes at her tone, shaking his head from side to side. “A protector? Really? “ Suddenly he was laughing, shaking his head before dropping his juggling balls back in his pockets and walked around her slowly. “You have a protector. A babysitter. It does not seem like you need one.. And human, I am rather entertained by this. Your head is a maze, and one minute your strong the next making bitter judgements about yourself. Quite amusing indeed.” The last comment was made in recognition of the boredom on her tone. It was fine, It was not as though he was put in the forest to entertain her. After all, he was the only important one, right? “And I am just asking questions, that is all. You are quite the fiesty little one aren’t you?”

Asher barely resisted the urge to stick her tongue out but still failed to keep that pretty little mouth under control. "You don't know the half of it, fang-face," she said, crossing her arms and glaring defiantly at him.
In any other situation she would have attempted to get him into bed with her or something of that nature and learn about the vampires and their weaknesses, or his in particular so she could offer him up to the highest bidder. She refused to watch him circle, instead already quite bored with the whole situation.
"You gonna stand her and talk all night, or re-attach your balls and do something? Either way, doll-baby, I'm bored with you and your little games," she said, rolling her eyes.

Reno chuckled to himself at her words and shook his head. Leaning against the nearest tree with his arms over his chest and one eyebrow rose ever so slightly ”If you are bored, then please do walk away. You are quite an odd one. I am just standing here and you are bored with me, I’d assume you would walk away.” His head tilted to the side ever so slightly to rest against the tree. “And human, Do not call me fang face. That is quite rude, are you always this rude to your savior? I believe you owe me.”
She was quite the odd one, standing there pretending to be bored, or not pretending. Where most who were alone in a forest with a vampire would be trembling in fear. It put Reno off a bit, but it was actually quite amusing. His eyes watched her from his standing position, wondering if she would just walk away. If so he would just follow her, atleast until she proved to let her emotions get the better of her. Most humans didn't have quite so much control.

"Go fuck yourself," she said sweetly, giving him an innocent little grin before moving off away from the vampire. She didn't care if she offended him and she knew damn well that the assassin would have loved to kill her, but there was a price for killing her that most weren't willing to pay.
She brushed her hair off her shoulders, pulling it into a braid and letting it trail down her back. She didn't need saving from anyone, damnit! Why wouldn't anyone just let her be? She'd been all fine and dandy before everything came around and she'd started spending time with the daemon.
Her emotions didn't get the best of her though, she stayed calm and composed as she moved effortlessly and gracefully along the previous path.

His laughter rang out as she walked away, ”cant” was hollared out to her as he shook his head. What a stupid human, foolish and irritating human. That smirk was on his face as he took off wandering right next to her, hands locked behind his back. “I think you are lost.” He said to her, a grin on his face. She seemed rather upset, yet hiding it very well. Well so be it. "So why are you all alone in this forest? Why are you so depressed? Because you are. You can tell. " He strolled with carefree steps, along with her with a small space between them. He said she could walk, didn't say anything about following.

"Go play with the other little kids, okay? The adults have things to do," she said, shooting him a glare as she continued to walk, deciding that ignoring the irritating mosquito might be a good idea. The thought that popped into her head was of his face on a mosquito's body and being swatted. It made her smile a bit, quirking her lips up as she shook her head and continued walking.
She knew he knew he was being irritating, so she took a tactic that didn't often work with vampires, ignoring this one as she focused on straight ahead, violet eyes never paying attention to the vampire next to her.

Ignoring a vampire could usually result in death, but Reno was not hungry, and could tolerate her attitude quite easily. With age comes practice. He kept his hands locked behind his back as she began to walk away, keeping perfect stride with her as she did so. “Ah. But to me, m’dear you are quite a young one..So immature. It is quite amusing. “ He chuckled before bringing out his juggling balls, beginning the movements swiftly of tossing and exchanging them in the air. His eyes staring at her with amusement. “Little miss tough human strolling through the forest.. Oh pahlease. Can you say you are not lonely?Like seriously. Stop the Façade” He chuckled to himself as he sped up just slightly to walk infront of her, facing her and not slowing down

Asher rolled her eyes, still ignoring the vampire. She had never really cared about her own life and had no one to miss her if she died, so what did she have to lose? And she wasn't lonely, at least not at the moment with her newly acquired vampire stalker. Or Fangy as she was now taking to calling him in her mind.
Fangy was quite the irritating brat. It seemed that boys stayed the same, no matter their age, and Fangy here was no exception. She sighed as she continued down the path, approaching town. She hadn't been all that far out to begin with, but the noises of the town could be heard through the night air although the lights could not yet be seen.

Reno raised his eye brows, shaking his hair of fiery red before abruptly stopped walking in front of her. He was quite irritated with her stubbornness, but it also egged him on to bug her. After all his amusement was all that counted, and if it was not for her he would be highly bored and probably killing someone. “Not going to say anything? Nothing at all?” The words whispered into her mind, his head tilting slightly to the side as he looked at her with closed lips. The slightest of grins against his lips, with one fang peeking out. The tiny human didn't even blink, was hardly fazed by it. Afterall, weren't vampires the ones who were always out for their own satisfaction? Whatever, she thought as she rolled her eyes. Fangy would have to find someone else to play with.
She kept her mouth shut and continued to ignore him as she moved to walk around him, careful not to touch, acting more like he had a disease than anything else. She just really wasn't in a pleasant mood. Maybe she'd find someone to fuck to relieve the tension? She shrugged mentally, ignoring Fangy as much as possible.
Which was rather hard to do since the path was narrow and he was standing in the middle of it.

Reno frowned at her no reaction and stuck his foot out to trip her. Amusement flashing in his face. He hated to be ignored, and he hated feeling like he couldn’t do anything to bring amusement. At the very least she could be civil! “You are a rude little one arent you? No wonder you have no friends. You know what I have found? You know a lot of information in your little mind, and It’s locked away reallll tight. I think being information would be a fabulous job, just imagine what you could do if you could read all thoughts?”

Asher glared at the vampire, switching to a different language that he couldn't understand in her mind. "Like I said before, leave me the fuck alone. If you're supposed to be a clown, Fang, you fail miserably," she said, arching an eyebrow. She'd caught herself before she could trip, knowing that this was all a game to the fang-face.
"And I have no desire to read all thoughts when it's obvious what others are thinking by their words, actions, reactions and everything they do, no matter how small," she said, a half-smirk gracing her lips as she gave him a saucy look. She was a firecracker, this one.
