The smell of mortal blood, malevolently sweet and untainted by the gross sins in the world... Virgin blood. Walked the dark, stone corridors of castle Faratu. Seemingly fearless, and unrelenting to the fact this was the home of Yviex's most vile creatures.
The Vampire. A blood sucking cretin who survived off the life of others. A parasite who had eternal life, but only so long as they adhere to the rules of their curse. No sunlight, no fine foods or wine, no nothing that entitled being human. From this mortals perspective, it was perhaps the worst punishment any one could have bestowed upon them.
But!
Although they where the damned, grotesque night walkers, Dramatic whores, and usually cocky in all shapes and sizes. They where ancient, and had a keen fondness for all the intricate little details of life, and lore existing in the world. Thus as the fable tells, the first of these things, Rever, erected a colossal library filled with the wisdoms and dark things that plagued Yviex's lands.
This was why the it, the man or woman mortal, strode along the grand hall's length with a proud gait. Eyes scanning from below the brim of hood masking its defining features. Fingering the hilt of one of the two swords it brandished at the back side of it's waist. Cautious as it went, expecting anything to happen while exploring the ominous construct. It was quite, and not a single sentient being was present. Yet what one knew from experience with vampires, it could simply mean they'd take you by surprise.
Though if it was an early meal any of them sought with this being... They'd sorely find it not a person to take lightly... Even with their superior-to-human Vampiric strength and agility, they'd struggle if the wandering Headhunter stood it's ground...

Reno had been wandering down the hall whistling to himself with arms locked hinder his back. That was, until his musical sounds cut off and his nose twitched ever so slightly. The fragrance of human lured through the hallways like the aroma of pizza, causing the hue of his eyes to redden ever so slightly. The Vampire was no young one though, and control was partial to his existence. He could also hear the light footsteps, cautious as they were, wandering closer to him as the slowest of grins came to his lips. Oh a new play thing was around, and he was bored out of his mind.
The Vampire’s cold hands moved from behind his back as a silver coin appeared in his sight. Glancing at it he flipped it in the air before catching it, glancing at the ‘heads’ that showed him he chuckled before walking down the hallway. Now, no matter a hunter or regular human, any human that thought a vampire would have difficulties with their enhanced speed and strength and ability to tolerate grave pain, Well any human that thought that was absolutely insane.
He kept his distance in the darkness and completely out of sight, his arms crossing over his broad chest as he watched her. Actually only a few meters away, but without breath or movement it would be impossible to tell. “You smell quite delicate. And your frame is quite petite.. Who are you? Or shall I just assume you are nothing of importance and slice your head off?” His voice echoed in the strangers mind with pure amusement at the thought of his rather dull threat. A power that not many vampires had, except a select few within the castle walls. Even then it was rarely used, as it was mostly frowned u pon to invade others thoughts.
Not that Reno cared. He just wanted entertainment.

The mortal stopped abruptly. Hearing the words sound in the back of her mind. It took just a moment for it to comprehend what exactly had happened, and knew now that it wasn't alone.
Gail. The strange woman, only glanced down the hall a little ways, scanning with her exotic powerful blue eyes. She saw nothing, and heard nothing. Although she was reluctant to proceed, she knew she'd come to far to just turn around at the encounter with some Vampire whelp.
The man she'd heard in her head also seemed some what just purely amused, as most of the blood drinking insects were. Yet it just meant that what ever sort of vampire it was, was not yet a hostile. Perhaps she could bide safety if she played her cards right. She would sure hate to have to kill unnecessarily, and jeopardize all the time she'd taken to come here.
So choosing her thoughts carefully, going with the first words that pushed forth in response. She spoke with a cool and tempered tone that flowed like silk from her mouth.
"Al Amoria Temptre, and decide quick of my importance, so that I make my mind whether or not I should slay you when you come." She wasn't threatening him back, nor was she challenging the thing. She was just being informative that she wasn't afraid of him, and she wasn't going to leave.

Reno’s eyes brightened when she did not cower or really falter in the least. A challenge, oh what fun that would be. If she turned out to be boring he’d just drink her blood and toss her away. Either way it was win win for him. He didn’t even cast any reaction against her words, She was no threat to him in any way, so he wouldn’t even give the ‘threat’ a second glance. The Vampire chuckled in her mind, the sound showing a false joy. After centuries vampires usually only mimicked the emotions of humans, and Reno was pretty good at it.
Pleased with his new find he glanced at her from head to toe. The only thing he saw was her bright blue eyes, his own staring at them for a moment before glancing away. Only humans could have such beautiful eyes, full of emotion yet a falsehood to them. Vampires did not express such things, and he was always so fascinated with ones eyes. “Your eyes are quite lovely. Too bad the rest of you is covered. A pleasure to” He paused and stepped out of the shadows, bored with not being able to move around. His arms were crossed over his chest, and he was leaning against a column that rose to the ceiling.
His head tilted as he looked at her, ”meet you..” was said as his lips actually formed the words for her to hear. His tone lilting with an unknown emotion as he gazed at her, slightest of tilts to his lips in a charming grin. “You do know you are trespassing. Why are you here woman?” The last world rolling with a sort of purr to it. He would not dignify her with a name. He rather enjoyed nicknames, so far he has accumulated quite a few, his favorite being soulsucker.

The Immortal commented on her eyes, she didn't give so much a breath to it. The creature then appeared before her, finally using the mouth he had. His referral to her as only a gender, dubbing her not the name she'd given him. His obvious statement followed finally by a relevant question.
"I'm only looking for a book, Harmless affairs." She began to approach the man, stopping as she came within a good ten feet away. Her hood by this point bowed so that he could no longer see her strange eyes. Her hands where no longer resting on the hilt of her swords, simply at her sides, though while her posture remained firm and upright, displaying she was of a structure lived life, nothing casual what so ever about her. Gail was all business.
She looked Reno over, Finding that he was actually fairly plain for a vampire, nothing special as to what she'd been exposed to before. In comparison to others, this childish like character was plainly dressed, and had no true redeeming qualities in his facial features- A weak narrow jaw, long girly hair, and pale feminine complexion (much like her own). If she'd bumped in to him no the street, she would have thought him just some poor sickly stay at home writer.
The fact he was a vampire was perhaps the only thing that kept her cautious around him however.

“Ouch thoughts can hurt.” He muttered placing a hand over his heart before he laughed at her, noting the comments she made in her mind regarding his appearance. The Vampire found her rather amusing, but it was diminishing fast and as it diminished his eyes would start to go more red at the realization she would not entertain him. His hand abruptly flicked out, almost like he was waving at her, except a dagger flew out of his hands and right past her head to hook into her hood in attempts to pull it down. Basically either pulling her hood down or cutting her hair, the blade going so fast it was barely able to be seen to normal eyes.
His body flashed forwards in unison with the motion of his dagger, head tilted to the side as he stood an inch in front of her. Much too close for a sword to be used, and much to close that any movement that was made would be noted by the vampire faster then the human could blink. “Trespassing is a crime. And for any human to wander here, that is basically a death sentence. The information to our library is not for any measly human to read over.”

The vampire had completely miscalculated everything, and had underestimated her competence with a sword. So when he made a sudden movement to wave at her, she saw the shimmer of silver. Tearo drawn with a reverse grip just seconds before it left the mans hand. A blast of wind erupted from the sheath, and encircled Gail with such force that the dagger was thrown off its trajectory, and in some other random direction.
Her sword was up horizontally, crossing where his neck would be.... No... across it now that he'd so voluntarily moved into it, so close to her. He wasn't just an Inch away however, but a good foot, lest he'd move so uncontrolled and ran his neck right through the blade to take it off. A low hum resonated from the sword, dangerous, and ready to shed blood.
She'd dealings with vampires before, she was a seasoned bounty hunter, a good twenty years of her life since she'd picked up the trade when she was but a mere child. The lot of them where fast, strong, and held a variety of fascinating powers, but lacked the maturity of delving heart and soul in to practicing something routinely, such as combat. This made them prone to know little about tactics, and just miserably fell back on their immortality to save them.
"I'm not here to deal in Combat, don't force my hand child. I'll break you if I have to" her voice lost it's subtle and soft appeal, having taken a darker and more deeper emphasis. Face still hidden, but her eyes could be felt staring through him. A cryptic air filling her, and could be almost touched by bare hands, being so thick in her aura.
