His smile disappeared completely at her words as he looked at her, sitting for a bit in the silence of the room as the young human fell asleep. Deciding to not think too much into it he placed a kiss on her forehead before shifting ever so slightly for comfort and falling asleep. Arms falling loosely around her. He slept in a dreamless world of perfect sleepiness in the comfort of sleep world with lots of comfort and dreams and stuff. And he totally slept some more. The sleep world is so amazing and comfortable.

Asher slowly woke up, curled in the daemon's embrace. She blinked violet eyes open, waking up before moving away from him, sliding out of the bed and careful not to disturb him. She ran her hands through her hair as she stood and stretched, slipping out of the room on silent feet.
Her mind turned over what had happened last night and she nearly blanched. Had she practically asked the daemon to live with her? She shook her head rapidly, remembering that he had declined as she slid down the wall by the door, outside of her house, hands in her hair. What was wrong with her?
She faintly remembered her words before she fell asleep, thankful at least she hadn't blurted out something like "i love you" or some bullshit like that. She bit her lower lip, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. She was at least now sure that she and the daemon were not on the same page, and she now knew exactly how she felt about the daemon.
Sighing and muttering about how complicated life was, she stood up and pushed off from the wall, heading down to the falls to take a bath. Once there she stripped out of her clothes, tossing them to the side before stepping into the water, relaxing as she ducked under the surface, holding her breath as she swam about, letting herself play for a moment before scrubbing clean.
Rising to the surface, she played about a bit enjoying the feeling of floating freely before she got out, drying off in the sun on the rocks surrounding the pool. She lay there, warmed by the sun for a while before getting dressed again and heading back to her house to cook.

The daemon woke up to an empty bed, his hands raising to rub over his eyes as he sat up. Looking around through half open eyes before slipping out of the bed. Walking out of the room he glanced around and walked outside to an empty clearing. His mind working over what the human had said to him previously, biting his lip in slight confusion. He did not know what she wanted from him, and it was starting to drive him a bit insane. Slowly but surely.
He could stay here when she was not there? The one thing that flashed through his mind at the thought was that it was almost as if she asked him to move in with her. Except if that was the case she would not have clarified when ‘she was not there’ to that question. Frowning to himself he rubbed his hands over his face to try to clear the confusion before flopping on the sand. Starting a fire himself as he figured she would be out getting food, if not it would at least be ready.
That and he had to keep busy to keep his thoughts clear. At least until he saw her walk through the trees and let his eyes linger on her for a moment, a slight smile going across his face before it was over run by a yawn. “Good morning…” He muttered to her, head tilting to the side slightly. Did she even remember what she said to him or asked him?

Asher came back into the clearing, an eyebrow arched as she took in the daemon. She wasn't quite sure how to act, hardly knowing what he thought or really wanted especially with what she had said last night. Fish were danging from a line in her hand as she looked at him and shrugged in answer to her thoughts.
"Morning," she said, her tone neutral as she sat down opposite and away from him, gutting and cleaning the fish with jerky movements that would most likely end up with her hand cut.

A frown played on his lips as he watched her, confusion in his eyes before he looked to the fire. He did not know what to do, and he ringed his fingers together slightly at her neutral tone and being so far away. One brow lifted ever so slightly before he stood up and walked over to her and sat behind her. Whether she wanted him to or not. His legs were bent and on either side of her and his arms moved to cover hers, hands moving to cover her own to stop her from cleaning and gutting the fish.
“Why are you pouting Asher?” His voice was quiet, and his hold was sturdy but not to tight. It took all his effort to not just get grumpy back, as would be so easy to do. If she wanted to get up and leave she would be able to do so, although awkwardly

Asher made an irritated roll of her shoulders, only succeeding in landing her firmly against the daemon's chest, unwilling to actually fight him and hurt him to get away. "I'm not pouting, I'm cleaning fish. You don't like watching me do it," she said, her body language stiff as well as her tone being annoyed.
She wouldn't admit that it was mildly upsetting to her last night and she needed some time to rationalize everything, especially since he was almost always contradicting himself with words and actions, but she didn't want him to leave her alone.

Alehkar frowned at her words, withdrawing his arms from around her and letting go of her hands. He bit his lower lip and glanced down for a moment before nodding in response not that she would see it. The daemon was no good at this, he was not good at reading people. Obviously. He shifted in his spot slightly, eyes staring at nothing. “Okay.” he wiped his hands on his pants and looked around, his brows both furrowed together. What was going on in her mind? And why did he feel like he did something wrong? Or that she did not want him around? Perhaps she was finally sick of having him around. “I’m sorry for bugging you when you are playing with fish guts..”

Asher shrugged in response, biting her lower lip and going back to cleaning fish, her movements still jerky. "Don't be," she muttered, pulling harshly on the knife. It slipped and cut her hand, making her drop what she was doing as she swore and held her injured hand to her.
This is what happened when she got upset, she usually got hurt. She couldn't tell if the cut was deep or not at least not until she cleaned it first. She pushed off the ground and put her hand in a bucket of water, cleaning it off as she took it out, examining it.
Blood trickled down her palm and wrist, dripping off into the sand, showing it was a fairly deep cut, causing her to wince and bit her lip.

What was he supposed to do? Obviously he did something to irritate her, and unless he said something stupid when he was asleep it happened last night. His thoughts were broken off as she winced, eyes watching her with worry as she examined and cleaned the cut. Alehkar moved over to her, noticing the blood as he frowned suddenly.
“I know your mad at me..” He paused and his hand grabbed her wrist, although rather gently as he looked at the cut. His other hand moving over it to heal the wound, whether she let him or not. With the fish guts on her hand if he left it she could get an infection, or get really sick. “..Why?” He let go of her wrist, brows furrowed with confusion as he lifted his gaze to look at her

Asher bit her lip and dropped her gaze, looking down and to the side as he healed her wrist, murmuring a small 'thank you' after he did it, even if it was slightly out of place. "And I'm not mad at you, more mad at myself. I'll get over it, so don't worry about it," she said, still not looking at him.
She had a nice shiny new scar on her hand now, a result of the healing the daemon did as she curled her fingers over her palm, biting her lips as she tilted her head forward, her hair blocking her face from his view.

“Why are you mad at yourself?” His voice quieted slightly as he studied her hand as well, body inching closer to her slightly, almost out of habit. His brows furrowed again, her answer to his first question just confusing him even more. His hand moving so his thumb and index held her chin, tilting it upwards so he could see her face. The daemon had no idea why she would be mad at herself, and his face would clearly show his confusion on it. His free hand pushed a lock of hair behind her ear that was in front of her face.

Asher turned her head to the side, attempting to break his grip as she bit her lower lip. "If you don't know, don't worry about it," she said softly, dropping her gaze again. She was mostly upset with herself for saying what she had last night, for showing her cards before she knew what the other had.
To her, she needed a certainty and she wasn't sure exactly what the daemon felt to her, if it was just some sense of loyalty or something more than a physical and casual attraction despite his protests.

The Daemon was losing his patience quickly as she tried to turn her head away from him. Both hands moving and shoving deep in his pockets for a moment as he studied her before shaking his head. “But I do not know, And I want to know. Tell me.” He wished she would look at him, but he would not force it. Or atleast not yet. He had no idea she had concluded he had rejected her when she asked him to stay at her place when she was not there. "I'm dense Asher. I do not read people as easily as you can, and I am very confused right now." As far as he could tell she could read him perfectly, it was not as though he fought to hide himself

Asher made an irritated noise in the back of her throat before turning around to go back to cleaning and gutting her fish. She didn't want to talk about it but the daemon seemed hellbent on doing it despite him not being able to read her.
She made her way back to the mess of fish on the ground and knelt by them, cleaning out the fish again with somewhat smooter movements that showed her emotions clearly. It took half the time it normally did for her to clean the fish before she tossed them on the fire to cook, standing and cleaning her hands again.
Her entire attitude said that she was unhappy with the situation and that she didn't want to talk, so if he wanted to, then getting her angry was usually the best way to get a straight, yet brutally honest answer if one could get past the occasional emotional interference and the possible physical ramifications.
Or he could just toss her over his shoulder and sit her down somewhere and refuse to let her go until she talked. Either method worked rather well.

Perhaps a little bit of both? The daemons arm wrapped quickly around her waist, grip firm but not too tight as he flipped her over his shoulder so her head would be over his back. A low grumble came from his lips as he shook his head at her. He did not care about the fish, it was just an excuse for her to ignore him. Swift movements led them into the house and into Asher’s room. Alehkar tossed her onto the bed gently, standing in front of her with his arms crossing over his chest. Brows drawn and an unreadable look on his expression before he took a few steps away from her and leaned against the door casually.
“We were having a conversation...” the statement was in response to her attempt at ignoring him previously. His actions were probably not the best to take, and she was most likely not going to be happy with him.. But at that point the daemon really just did not care if she got upset with him.

ASher glared at him as she pushed herself into a sitting position and crossed her arms over her chest. She tossed her head back, clearing her hair off her shoulders and letting it spill down her back as her entire posture clearly challenged him to drag it out of her. "No, you wanted to talk about a topic I did not want to talk about at the moment," she stated, challenging him to bring it up again or get angry with her.
"There is nothing to talk about, so let it alone," she said with a glare as she stood up from the bed and attempted to leave the room.

He crossed his arms over his chest as he stared down at her when she attempted to leave the room. One brow raising ever so gently as he remained leaning his large frame against the door. The challenge in her eyes was ignored as he watched her, studying her angered face and tense frame. “So there is not a single thing bothering you right now? Wow.. Could have fooled me...” He rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders slightly before looking down at her. His statement commenting on how she was acting, like a complete child.

The transformation occurred in the blink of an eye, her entire body relaxing into a comfortable, open stance, one the revealed no anger. Her eyes sparkled with what seemed like good humor until she spoke. Her voice was entirely different. "Fuck you," she said, the saccharine sweetness of her tone enough to rot your brain.
Her posture never changed, a smile curling her lips and seeming to make her more attractive, as long as she didn't speak. She was a tough nut to crack and didn't like to give clues on what was bothering her, especially since she'd get over it soon enough.

Alehkar raise an eyebrow as he watched her before lowering his gaze to stare at the ground. The tone in her voice had sent a chill down his spine, which caused him to shift slightly and run a hand through his hair in frustration. Hand tugging slightly before he lowered himself rather abruptly to sit where he had been standing. His body shifted so he could get comfortable, and kept his eyes away from her. “Okay..” was his response, slight humor to it almost bitterly. Biting his lower lip he shifted slightly, eyes lifting to glance at her again.

Asher crossed her arms and glared at him, the pair on about equal footing because of her short height at the moment. "Let me out of my goddamn room before I go out the window," she said, frustration evident in her tone. He was the only one who could get her so worked up in a short amount of time that she forgot the original reason she was mad.
She ran a hand through her hair, fixing him with an impatient look before turning around and striding across the room to the window. It took her a few moments before it was finally open and she was attempting to go out of it. Of course the daemon could stop her if he really wanted to.
