Cecilia smiled to herself, quite happy with her current situation, no matter how nervous she may have been to tell the animagus, she would do it calmly. She brushed her hair and pulled it back into a simple braid, taking time to make sure that the waist length strands were even and it did not feel off.
She had been able to assert her own independence, letting Tier go off and do what he wanted without fear that something would happen to her if he left her alone for a few minutes. She could easily tell when someone meant harm to her and when someone did not, despite their appearance that others would see.
She opened the shutters of the house to let the light and the warm breeze in, it was an exceptionally good day and it was comfortably warm outside. She moved throughout the house expertly, fluidly as if she belonged there and had been there her entire life. Her steps were light and she found herself occasionally pressing a hand to her growing stomach.
She waited for Tier to come back to the house before she could tell him, partially surprised he had not guessed or known that she was pregnant with his child. She could only hope that he would be happy as well, but she suspected that he would be, even if he was surprised. She moved through the kitchen fluidly, preparing a simple meal and doing a number of the household chores since Tier hadn't done them. It was something she did not mind doing and actually preferred doing, so as not to make her feel useless.
The food was almost done cooking and she knew that Tier could probably smell it and would come bounding back soon in some animal form and be quite happy to see her, as had almost become their ritual.

Tier showed up at the house almost as if he were summoned there. He had come bounding down the street in his dog form, tongue lolling out of his mouth. He could smell the food all the way from the other side of town, and he could tell that it was getting done.
Once he had made it to the door of the house, Tier transformed back into his human form. He opened the door, glancing around for a moment before entering. He gave a quick sniff, enjoying the smell of the food.
“I’m home,” the animagus called out as he went off to find Cecilia. “I hope you didn’t starting eating without me.” Tier went straight into the kitchen.

"It would serve you right if I did," she teased with a laugh from where she was putting the finishing touches on the food she had prepared. It was a rather simple dish, nothing fancy that was made with the food around the house. Cecilia had become quite adept at identifying foods by their texture and smell and usually was able to create things that tasted quite good.
She turned to read his aura to judge his mood and could tell he'd been out running. She wrinkled her nose in a rather cute fashion before shaking her head. "You need a bath," she said with a smile.

“I’m sure the bath can wait,” Tier said with a laugh as he walked over to Cecilia. He leaned down, kissing her lips gently. His arms moved around her, holding her close for a moment. “Food first and then I can clean up. Unless you can’t tolerate my smell.”
The animagus laughed, releasing Cecilia and walked over to the table. He sat down, watching her finish up the food. “Do you need any help with anything, dear?” Tier asked, leaning back in his chair a bit. “Or can you handle it?”
He still made sure that the blind half breed could handle tasks that were set in front of her.

Cecilia gave him a rather indignant look at that moment. "I can handle it," she said with a laugh. "You should know by now I'm not helpless," she said as she easily moved about and put the food on the table, kissing Tier's cheek before she sat down.
She took a slight breath, figuring she should probably tell him now but she'd rather she was touching him while she told him, to guess his mood and thoughts. Cecilia smiled at him and lay her fingers on the top of his hand, shaking her head in amusement. "As long as I can't smell you over the food, then we don't have a problem," she teased.
She paused for a minute and tilted her head to the side, chewing her lower lip before just deciding to go ahead and tell him. "I'm pregnant, Tier," she said softly.

The animagus was rather caught off guard, and it took him a moment to full respond. His eyes were wide, studying Cecilia carefully. A slow smile formed over his lips before he leaned forward and kissed the half breed’s lips. His hand reached up and slipped through her hair.
“That’s wonderful, Cecilia,” he said softly, kissing her forehead lightly. Tier was so very happy at the moment, at her news. It had been a long time since someone had given him such good news, and he was glad that it was coming from her.
“Are you excited?” he asked her gently. “You should be, Cecilia.”

Cecilia smiled in relief, quite happy that he was happy as well. "I am," she said, after she responded to the kiss, her body relaxing into his touch. She caught her lower lip between her teeth, trying to stop the happy smile on a reflex but finally giving up before just sending him a beaming, beautiful smile.
"I'm glad you're happy, Tier," she said with a smile as she leaned over and kissed his cheek, her fingers dancing down the side of his face so she could read his thoughts and moods. She had long since memorized what he looked like to her fingers and could tell the planes of his face and body rather well, but she still had no idea what he looked like to others.
It was there, for a brief moment that she wished she could see so what he looked like and to see what their baby would look like.

Tier smiled, letting his hands trail over the sides of Cecilia’s face much like she did to him when she wanted to see him. He kissed her forehead once more. “This is such good news, Cecilia,” he said gently, happy as ever. He ran his hand gently through her hair. Tier just wanted to hold her close. His mind had forgotten about the food already. His focus was on the blind half breed.
“I love you so very much, Cecilia,” he told her, kissing her lips gently. “Thank you so much for everything. This means so much to me.”

Cecilia gave a light laugh smiling and moving to hug him, wrapping her arms around him as she rested her head on his chest. "I love you too," she said, the happiness shining off her frame as she held him.
Tier made her very happy and she was more than happy to stay with him, no matter what they may do or go through. She was also very accepting of his playful nature and how much he liked to go out and travel, and she did not worry about these things when he decided to go out and travel without her.

The animagus kissed the blind half breed once more before finally sitting back in his seat. “Well, I suppose I should allow you to eat your dinner, since food will become more important to you now that you are pregnant.” Tier grinned, looking to his food now. “It smells really good and it looks really good, which I know isn’t important to you. But it does look delightful, Cecilia.”
Tier took a bite out of his food, smiling as he looked back to Cecilia. He seemed unable to stop smiling. She had truly made him happier than he thought he could be.

Cecilia giggled before sitting back and eating as well. "And I guess that this means you will be not out roaming as much as you please," she teased as she ate the food that she had prepared.
The blind half breed pushed some hair back into the braid and continued to eat, more than happy that the animagus was happy as well. It made her seem to glow in pure happiness around him and seemed to make her almost seem to emulate a bright light, enhancing her angelic half.
"Do you have a place that you think would be best for raising the baby?" she asked.

Tier smiled at her mention of the unborn child in her stomach. “I suppose that is a good question,” the animagus said before taking another bite out of his food. “I think before we should settle on that, I would like for you to meet someone.”
He smiled a bit at the thoughts that had suddenly flowed through his head. “I have been everywhere on this world, so deciding the perfect place to raise a child will take me some time to really pin point. Until then, there is much for us to do, Cecilia.”

Cecilia nodded, becoming rather wary of the mention of someone he wanted her to meet, uncertain as to who it was. She did not know much about myths and legends on the surface, but she knew almost everything there was to know about the myths and legends of the Underdark.
She hadn't even heard of an animagus until Tier had come along and she had accidentally glimpsed his future and it had startled her, that day in the forest. She bit her lower lip and nodded, deciding to be brave once more. "I'll meet whoever you want me to meet," she said softly as she finished her food.
Rising and taking the dirtied dishes, she washed them, taking care of what had been dirtied, moving around with a calmness and certainty that almost made it seem as if she had spent all her life here.

Tier smiled and nodded his head as he sat back in his chair. “We will leave here soon, then,” the animagus told the blind half breed. “She is a fleeting spirit who must be tracked down. If we leave here as soon as possible, then we have a better chance of catching her before the young one comes. Lucky for you, I am a good tracker.”
The animagus stood up, walking over to Cecilia. He slipped his arms around her, kissing her lips once more. “But I think I am in need for a bath as you have so nicely told me earlier.”

"Okay," she said with a smile as she kissed him back, her arms slipping around his shoulders for a moment as she deepened the kiss. Pulling back slightly, she sent him a happy smile before she released him.
"Then go take your bath. I'll try not to get into too much trouble," the blind half breed teased with a coy smile flirting around her lips.
She was slightly concerned about whoever Tier wanted her to meet, but trusted him enough that he wouldn't let anything happen to her that would hurt her or the baby she was carrying. She sighed and pushed a few strands of hair back into the braid before finishing up in the kitchen and heading back up to the room she shared with Tier.

Tier went off to go take his bath and get clean for Cecilia. That was why he really bathed to make himself pleasant around the half breed. He knew that he could get unbearable if he did not bathe, so he made sure he kept himself smelling good. When he finished cleaning up he went off to their room, finding Cecilia there.
“Hey love,” he said with a smile as he entered the room. He walked over and sat down on the bed, stretching out his arms and back before giving a quick yawn. “Miss me, yet?”

Cecilia faced him with a thoughtful expression. " I don't know. Why don't you go away for a little longer and I'll have an answer?" she teased as she made her way over to him, leaning down to kiss the animagus' lips.
When she drew back, she gave him a happy smile. "Of course I missed you," she said with a breathy laugh, her lips just brushing his as she spoke. "I love you and miss you whenever you're away from me," she said before she kissed him again. Sitting up, she pushed her braid back off her shoulder as she stretched.

The animagus smiled, watching Cecilia. “I’m glad you love and miss me so very much,” he said with a slight laugh. “I love you, too, Cecilia.” He took her hand gently and pulled her down to the bed with him, placing her next to him. Tier kissed her cheek lightly before rubbing her back.
“How long did you know about the baby?” Tier asked her gently, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. “Did this just occur to you or have you been waiting for the right moment to tell me?” He would not mind either way, but his curiosity peaked.

Cecilia sighed and relaxed into the bed next to Tier, letting him rub her back as she listened to his questions, taking her time in how to answer him. "I just knew," she said with a slight shrug. "It kind of came to a realization for me that I was pregnant and I knew I should tell you sooner rather than later," she said softly as she closed her useless eyes.
She figured that deep down Tier had not given up on his quest to make her see and she suddenly had a feeling that this would only renew his vigor to find someway to make the blind half breed actually see, despite her protests. He was stubborn that way, she supposed.

Tier smiled. “Well, either way I am so very happy, Cecilia,” he said softly, kissing the top of her head gently. “I will make you as happy as possible, I promise you that. You will have nothing to worry about. I am here to protect you from anything that would ever try to harm you. I love you, and I will make sure that you and our baby is safe.”
The animagus held her close, content with just sitting there like this. He would stay true to his words as well. Nothing would happen to the blind half breed while he was around. If anyone would dare to try to harm her, they would have to deal with his wrath.
