“We shall see, I suppose,” Ayvajin said, relaxing her back against her chair. “The desert is usually what slows people down. I have no problems with crossing over the Idubia, and I tend not to stop. Do you think you could handle that, Ran’Cris?”
The necromancer gave a playful little smile. It was true. People usually had much difficulty traveling over the desert. Ayvajin had grown up traveling over sand. She had no problem crossing over the desert on foot or by the back of an animal.
“Of course, I am sure you will be fine as long as you bring enough water. That seems to what causes difficulty for most people trying to cross the desert. In order to survive it you must have plenty of water.” |
