Cecilia smiled as she held her customer's hand in her smaller ones, letting the brief visions flow as she traced delicate fingers over the lines it the person's palm. "You are a hard worker and it will be rewarded at a time when you least expect it," she said, her soft voice flowing rhythmically from her lips.
She paused, smiling in a way that emphasized how pretty she was, but she did not know what she looked like, only what she was told. Tilting her head forward, pale blonde hair fell across her lap as another vision came to her. "However, before this reward is obtained, you will go through a harsh trial and making it out will lead you to the reward. You should never lose faith, it will guide you through your struggles," she finished with a brilliant smile as she released the hand she was holding.
All around her she could feel and hear the market place bustling, her brother was nearby, hovering over and making sure they were paid the proper amount. She could hear the thanks bubbling over the lips of the man in front of her as he lay the coins down so that Celestine could see them before getting up and leaving. Cecilia sighed, pushing her hair out of her face before leaning back, searching for the familiar strength that was her brother. Crowds made her uneasy and reminded her of the Black Market.

Celestine had been sitting nearby on a stool that had been left in the marketplace. He had been idly watching his sister tell the fortune of the man who had just left. Celestine did not care for his sister’s fortune telling. He hated how she brought in the majority of their money, and he loathed himself for not being able to get normal jobs to support him and his sister.
The half breed had trouble with communicating with people not just because of him being mute, but of the fact that people who could talk were complicated creatures. Many had trouble truly understand Celestine as well. Many did not understand what his gestures symbolized.
Celestine moved forward, taking the money that had been laid down in front of Cecilia. He placed it in a pouch upon his hip before sitting back down. His eyes casually skimmed over the crowd of people in the market.
He had no worries, well, at the moment he had no worries of anyone trying to hurt Cecilia. Many did not attempt to attack someone in such a crowded marketplace.

Cecilia frowned, she could feel her brother's displeasure at being there. "Celestine, we can go if you would like," she said as she turned to face where he would be, automatically searching for his presence and the physical reassurance he was there.
"I know you do not like the marketplaces and neither do I, but it is a good way for us to survive," she said, trying to soothe him. Cecilia did not like her brother being upset and tried to cheer him up if she could. She bit her lower lip, looking down at her lap before bringing her head back up. "I'm sorry you're upset," she said softly.

Silent protection. Celestine let out a sigh. He knew he had made Cecilia feel bad. He ran a hand through his hair before standing up from the stool. He gently rested his hand upon his sister’s shoulder before taking it away and stretching out his back and then his neck.
He had been debating whether or not they would stay in Temarra for a few more days or not. There were plenty of people in the city who specialized in magic or who were greatly interested in magic. Cecilia got a lot of attention whenever she was in the marketplace or, really, if she was anywhere in the city. Celestine knew they would get quite a bit of money here, but he hated how many people were around.
Celestine was ready to call it a day, though. They had been in the market for far too long this day, and he was looking forward to going someplace less crowded and busy.

Cecilia frowned, not at all liking that her twin was still upset. Despite the brief contact, she could tell that he wanted to leave. She wanted to leave as well, but she couldn't find her way out of the city, she relied on Celestine to do that for her as well as take care of the more mundane things. "We can go," she said as she rose from where she had been sitting on the ground.
Cecilia knew better than to try and walk to her brother, she had tripped and fallen a lot when they were younger although she thought that was because they were in the Underdark and couldn't see. It was not until she heard others talking about how she was blind did she realize but it hardly came as a shock to her. Smiling patiently at her older brother, she held out her hand for him to take.
"Let's go somewhere quieter, Celestine. It's too noisy," she said.

Silent protection. Celestine gave a slight smile at his sister’s suggestion. He was quite ready to leave. He smile disappeared as he took Cecilia’s hand and helped her to her feet. He had always felt like the much older brother who looked after the much younger sister. At most, they would have only been a few moments apart at birth, yet he still felt rather old compared to Cecilia. He was also quite taller, which only added to this feeling.
The half breed looked about before starting to lead his sister through the marketplace, his hand wrapped around hers. He minded all the passing people, watching to make sure they would not run into his sister or try to harm her in any way. He was always very wary of the people.

Cecilia wrapped her hand around his, smiling slightly as he lead her through the people. She hurried to keep up with his longer stride, mindful of the other people she could feel passing. She stumbled only once on a small hole in the road, frowning slightly and hoping that Celestine didn't see it. She didn't like to be a bother to him anymore than she already was.
Cecilia sighed as she pushed a strand of hair out of her face, pulling the strip of cloth off and wrapping it around her wrist as they walked, her pale blue eyes fluttering open. They were entirely useless, she couldn't even tell the difference between shadow and light, but she'd heard people tell her they were pretty, something she never understood.

Silent protection. The half breed had noticed Cecilia’s slight stumble and had frowned afterwards. He knew she had a hard time walking upon streets that held unexpecting holes in them. He just hated seeing her stumble and seeing her fall. He hated the thought of her possibly getting hurt.
Celestine held his sister’s hand tightly, leading her through the people and watching the road a bit closer this time. He knew that perhaps he was a bit too cautious, but this never matter to him. His sister’s safety came first. He had no time for such thoughts of being too cautious or too caring.

Cecilia squeezed her brother's hand gently, as if telling him she was alright and hurried to stay at his side, careful to not get in the way of the beloved sword he carried that was for both their protection since it was rather foolish for a blind girl to carry a weapon when she would just hurt herself.
"I'm alright, Celestine. You don't have to worry so much," she said, her voice drifting over him as she tried to soothe his thoughts, tried to make him smile. She had felt him smile earlier and she prized that sensation above all others, she was happier when Celestine was smiling.

Silent protection. Celestine let out a breath, giving a slight nod as he bit his lip. The inn in which they were staying at was not too far from the marketplace which he was grateful of. He was unsure if he wanted to go back to the inn already.
There had been a park that they had passed by on their way into the city that was exceptionally beautiful. The half breed now debated whether or not he wanted to drag Cecilia to some place she could not even see. The park was full of smells and touches that he knew she would enjoy, though.
He ran his thumb over the top of his sister’s hand before leading her off toward the park.

Cecilia smiled as she felt him change direction, knowing he had had a moment of hesitation as to where he wanted to go. She wanted him to indulge himself in things that made him happy, no matter if it affected her or not. She even wanted him to try and find someone to fall in love with, but she knew that was unlikely to happen. He worried to much about her.
She felt him nod, it was one of those sensations that the twins shared after taking care of each other for years, they could almost read each other's minds, although Cecilia still liked to voice her opinion every now and again. She wanted to ask where they were headed, but that would involve them stopping and her hands over her brother's lips as he formed the words of where they were going.
She followed him, trusting him implicitly with what he decided to do.

Silent protection. After a few minutes of walking, they came upon the park. Celestine looked around for a moment. There really was not anyone in the park at the moment, which he was quite happy for. He continued to led his sister into the park, walking upon one of the paths.
There were many different types of flowers growing in this particular park. The aromas of all of the flowers floated upon the breeze that suddenly went through the city.
Celestine looked to his sister, watching for her reaction. He knew she loved to explore the world around them, blind or not. She had always been interested in finding new things to touch, taste, or smell.

Cecilia smiled when they entered the park, the air immediately lifting around them and the sounds fading into the background. She could tell from the relief that had passed down through her brother's arm that there was no one there. The ground had changed under her feet as they had walked and when Celestine had stopped, she smelt the aromas of the flowers around them.
"Can I touch one?" she asked him, knowing he would tell her if it was dangerous for her to or not and would guide her accordingly. "I hope it's pretty for you, Celestine," she said softly.

Silent protection. Celestine gave a slight smile, giving his sister’s hand a squeeze before leading her forward. He leaned over, plucking one of the flowers from the ground. He took his sister’s hands and handed her the flower to investigate.
He stepped back a bit to watch his sister smell and feel the flower. Celestine always enjoyed watching Cecilia study something new. He looked around the park, trying to find something else to give to his sister for her to see in her own way. Celestine chewed his lip for a moment. If he could, he would allow her to see the world like everyone else did. He would allow her to see the colors that he knew she would love.

Cecilia smiled as she turned the flower over in her hands, memorizing the feel of it, the shape of it. If there was a name that would be associated with it, she would be able to tell by touch and smell if she came across the flower again in some other part of the world they lived in.
She knew her twin's thoughts well, and a light laugh bubbled out of her throat. "Celestine, I'm fine the way I am. I do not miss a world that I have never known. I'm rather happy, so please, do not worry about me," she said as she turned, reaching up to place a delicate hand on his face, feeling the emotions and the planes of his face that made up her brother.

Silent protection. He set his hand upon hers, closing his eyes for a moment. He enjoyed her touch and her sheer presence. He wanted to speak everything that came to his mind, but he knew he didn’t need speech to allow his sister to know every little thought that came to his mind.
Celestine had always had a craving for speech. He was glad his sister was able to handle being blind her whole life, but he had a hard time handling being mute. He could hear everything that people said around and to him, and he always wanted to just open his mouth and speak.

Cecilia smiled sadly, she knew how badly her brother wanted to speak and if she could, she would give it to him. It was a thought that the twins shared, often knowing they would sacrifice everything for the other.
She gently drew her hand away from under his and wrapped her arms around him in a hug, laying her head on his chest as she listened to the steady beat of his heart. Cecilia knew everything that made up her brother, it was impossible to fool one of them with the other, although it had been tried in the Underdark, their ability to pick out the other often made for some interesting bets against competitors.
She tilted her head up, looking at her brother's face with sightless eyes and seemed to know he wasn't smiling, it brought a light frown to her mouth. "You should smile more, Celestine," she scolded him gently. Cecilia was always trying to get him to smile.

Silent protection. Celestine shook his head slightly at her words, his eyes looking down to her. He never really had reasons to smile, except for whenever Cecilia made him smile. She was the only one who had the power to make him smile anymore.
He found it hard to find other reasons to make him smile. He had no friends outside of Cecilia, and even if he did he doubted they would understand how he worked and what he thought. That was the problem. People just had a hard time overlooking that he could not speak. Many tried to teach him out to speak, instead of just trying to comprehend his silent gestures.

Cecilia frowned, biting her lower lip in an action that mimicked her brother's. She liked the feeling she got from Celestine when he smiled, it was one that made her smile too. She dropped her head down, resting it on Celestine's chest, wishing he would smile more. Then he could maybe attract some pretty girl that would get past his inability to speak.
She sighed and drew away from him, slightly saddened and turned around so he wouldn't see the emotions flitting across her face. She was very open with the thoughts and emotions going across her face, and since she was blind, she never really knew how to hide them although it was pretty much useless to try and hide them from Celestine.

Silent protection. The half breed let out a sigh, looking away from Cecilia. He ran a hand through his hair, wanting to disappear suddenly. He wished he did not cause such pain to his sister. He wished he could just be absolutely happy even without his voice.
Celestine wanted Cecilia to have someone who could make her happy. He constantly felt like he was bringing her down by just being upset with himself. He did not know how to make himself feel more confident and less self loathing.
He suddenly wanted to leave the park. He had meant to take Cecilia here to make her happy, yet he was doing the exact opposite.
