Azazealyn moved fluidly through the darkness of the caves, eyes glowing with a faint red so she could see. It was eerie as to her passing, only the faint mixing of red and lavender could be seen. She paused only once, as if picking her direction before heading off into another direction, the shapely drowess taking her time as if she were tracking someone.
Which in a sense she was, playing with the Black Maji and a few of the larger spiders in the tunnels. Hide and seek at its best until it leads up to the tunnels, as it did. The spiders didn't come up that far, but Amaji would and then there was always the risk of running into the slavers. That always got messy when they tried to mess with Amaji.
She paused, sending out a small pulse of magic to find him, frowning slightly before heading up, dropping the infrared spectrum before regaining normal vision so she could see. It was still dark, but she could see. A change in the air had her pausing, a faint echo bouncing off the walls before it reached her. She stiffened, instantly recognizing it.
Slave traders, and they were coming down with something. She moved to the side, narrowing her eyes as she waited for them. When the caravan rounded the corner, lavender eyes widened. They had a parade of forest elves with them, mostly women and children. A split second later they narrowed as she faded into the shadows, becoming invisible and dropping the entire area into complete darkness.
She moved fluidly, the wicked knife working in her hands as she killed the slavers, freeing the captives as well. For the most part, she was a drow and they were prone to violent outbursts when irritated or annoyed, and often slavers were the targets. Sighing, she heard a few take off and dispelled the darkness, showing the captive forest elves the way out.
They followed her, a bit fearfully back to the surface and she could only hope Amaji had tangled with the slavers. Once back on the surface, the elves looked at her gratefully but she waved them off, telling them they needed to leave and go back home. Dropping her head back, she noted that it was dusk, the sun was not fully set, but almost there.
"Well, this is a rather unexpected change of plans," she said, unclear as to who she was speaking to.

“It was,” came the irritated reply of the Black Maji, Amaji. He came out of the shadows, seeming to just simply appear there. There was blood smeared across his cheek and his twin rapiers were still held in his hands. He was frowning, showing how completely unhappy he was that he had ran into the slave drivers. They were a kind that he did not like at all, and he wanted all of the dead.
Amaji’s mood had definitely turned to the worst. He had been rather cheerful earlier, which was saying something for the mixed elf. He had been enjoying his time with Azazealyn and the spiders until he had ran into the slave drivers, and now he was annoyed. Old memories had been forced to the surface in an unexpected wave.
“Damn slave drivers,” Amaji cursed, his eyes lighting up in anger once more. He sheathed his rapiers in a quick movement before looking to Azazealyn once more. “All of them deserve to die.”

Of course it was trees who started it all. Robin was relaxing in the near the foot of the mountain, going to neighboring villages, saying hello and trying to offer whatever he could to help them in whatever struggle that they might have; classic Robin Hood. As he turned around, he was caught off guard. The sun was starting to set, only the most subtle way. The sky suddenly seemed to burning, fire licking it up with red and orange. It was beautiful and Robin would have stayed there if the trees hadn't notified him. Of course it was the trees who started it all.
Suddenly, Robin was running along side the wind, hair brushing upward and practically flattening against his head. His eyes were intent, one with focus. There was news about slave dealers in the mountain area with forest hell. Like hell Robin was going to stand for that. He legs moved rapidly as he reached the caves where they were apparently last seen. Taking a sniff of the mountain air, he could smell the forest elves and the dealers. Quickly pulling out his bow, Robin was ready to head into the cave when all went black. It seemed oddly so, like there wasn't anything there at all. Robin looked at it curiously, realizing he has seen this spell before, but he couldn't quite place it.
Suddenly, forest elves scurried out of the cave, seeming to be relieved that they were free. Robin quickly ran up to one and asked her what had happened. She looked startled to see her king, then smiled brightly. "It was a drow! She saved us! Oh, bless her soul!" Without another word, she ran off to. Puzzled, Robin wondered if Az was here, when he noticed her walk out of the cave. A smile was pasted on his lips with in a second, but that changed when he saw the Black Maji. Mmm, he has never met him before, but has of course heard his story. So Robin walked up to the where they were standing and nodded his head."Thank you for saving them." He paid no more special attention to Azazealyn then he did the Maji. It was all formal. "I'm King Locksley. And the Black Maji, correct? Thank you again... both of you."

Az turned from where she had been attempting to calm down Amaji to face Robin, eyebrow arched. "They interrupted us," she said, more to see how he would take those words than anything else. She was partially amused at the moment and stepped back, letting Amaji deal with Robin however he wanted.
Of course, this would all be quite interesting to her, seeing as Amaji hated other elves and all surface creatures, but this was a different setting. She had managed to wipe the blood off his cheek after threatening to pin him down to do it, but at the moment none of it mattered to her. Her eyes were dancing with amusement as she watched the two males, one more of an old friend and the other someone she had been nice to (which was all that she'd ever admit to aloud).
"And maybe you should teach your people a few better tactics to avoid the slavers, King Locksley," she said, stressing his title.

Amaji’s eyes flashed a bit, already more annoyed with this new arrival. The mixed elf had no respect for surface elves. They were the ones who had allowed him to be stolen from his home and put on the Black Market. To him, they were a weak race who did not deserve a place in this world.
“No reason to thank me, I didn’t kill those slave drivers for the sake of you and your people,” Amaji snapped to the king of the forest elves, allowing his angered tone to show through. “I killed them because I hate slave drivers and slave traders. I would not kill them for the likes of you.”
The Black Maji’s eyes shifted from the forest elf to the drow, eyebrow raised slightly even with the scowl still on his face. There was something between the two that Amaji did not like at all. Azazealyn killed forest elves all of the time, why was there this exception? This King Locksley should not be standing before him if Azazealyn and him had met before. This was definitely something that Amaji would question.
“You think after a couple of thousand years, you forest elves would be able to understand that you know nothing about keeping away from slave drivers, and that you need to learn a thing or two. Just maybe after three thousand years your defenses would get a bit better, but you are just a forest elf after all.”
Amaji shook his head, giving a sinister smile. He truly thought these elves were idiots, and this was just another example of them being too foolish to survive out in the world.

The wind started to pick up, only slightly, as it brushed past the brown hair. His posture was completely relaxed, but he didn't stop listening intently to the black maji's words. He knew that he was right, and that he should seriously do something about it. Maybe add guards in towns and villages to protect and teach them some fighting skills, at least so they could protect themselves. Taking a deep breath, Robin glanced at the sky, then back at the pair."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you."Robin looked at the Maji."I will do something about it." He noticed the sinister look on him and didn't bother giving a reaction. There was no use fighting right now. "May I ask what I'm interrupting?"

Azazealyn sighed crossing her arms over her stomach as her spider companion emerged, scurrying its way up her leg to perch on her shoulder, seeming to watch all the people in the immediate surroundings. Running a hand through her white hair, she rolled her eyes as if asking her goddess why she had to deal with men.
"You were interrupting a game," she said, still not giving details or exactly what the relationship between the two of them. She lay a hand on Amaji's arm, as if telling him not to actually kill the surface elf on sight. Lavender eyes darting up to look at the Black Maji with a warning.
It was a clear warning between the two of them that he should not pick a fight with the king of the surface elves at this time, telling him to remember the warning that Lloth had given him. Her eyes returned to Robin, keeping them neutral as she watched him with expectant eyes, seeing what he'd do.

The Black Maji let out a sigh, looking away from Azazealyn. Surface elves were really pathetic. He knew that the high priestess did not want him to kill this king, not yet anyways. But, Amaji could not help but feel like there was more to this than waiting for the right moment. He hated how the drow looked at the forest elf.
“You were interrupting something,” Amaji said, annoyance heavy upon his voice. His eyes shifted between Azazealyn and this King Locksley as if trying to pick up on any hidden movements and hidden looks between the two. His eyes fell upon Azazealyn, sending their own message to her. It was as if he was saying ‘If you have slept with him, I swear…’. She would know what that meant.
“We were in the middle of our little game that is now officially ruined because of those damn slave drivers.”

The breeze started to pick in the mountain side and Robin felt a bit akeward. Az continued to give some sort of signal to the Maji, while he seemed to be a bit suspicious of Az and himself. Did she tell him about them? Well, he guessed that it was probably nothing but the way he was acting towards them, like he didn't seem to know them what so ever, probably was the best idea. Robin wondered what would have happened if he acted fond of Az. Looking at the Maji, Robin recalled the things told about him. Ruthless and he hated surfuce dwealers. Trying to think of better things, Robin gave a small kind smile.
Then came the call from the sky. It was a screetch really, but he knew that it was Browalia, his hippogriff. He hasn't seen her in a while, realizing that she was probably wanting to meet other creatures than be cooped up inside the city. Giving a slight looked above him, Robin sighed."Well, I'm sorry for the misforturne, but I must be going. I don't wish to interrupt things more. Farewell, if I am not needed." Giving a last look at the Maji, and then a somewhat longer than usual stare at Az, Robin turned around and ran into the trees, eventually settling himself on one, a good few yards away. He had to wait for Browalia.
