Name:Araenia Lis
Age:30
Gender: Female
Race:Fairy
Hails From:Feriay
Ranking: Princess.
Weapons: Her magic.
Abilities: She can fly and she can manipulate the earth.
Companions: Animal shifter named Nicodemus who is for lack of better terms, her guardian. He is suppose to look after her and make sure she doesn't get herself into trouble. To get on his nerves she calls him Nico.
Occupation: She's a Princess!
Appearance:
She stands at 4 ft even and is built with extremely petite features. She has large clear eyes that shift like the colors of the forest in the sunlight from light green and dark green hues. Blonde wavy hair falls neatly down back her shoulder blades but she usually keep it tied up rather messily so it hangs around her shoulders. Sprouting from her back are light green wings that allow her to fly.
Personality: Araenia is an extremely curious fairy and it often gets her trouble. She has an almost insatiable desire to see the rest of the world past the forest she has known all her life and takes every opportunity to venture of out it. This doesn't mean she dislikes being a princess. She is somewhat of a Priss and very much an innocent when it comes to the ways of the world. Nicodemus tries to keep a handle on her, but fairies are clever by nature and she usually figures out a way around him.
History:
She has never known anything but a royal life. Araenia, or Reni, grew up wanting for nothing. Despite this fact, she has always been a little restless. Give her a inch and she takes a mile, literally. She was still a very young fairy and couldn't fly very far or very fast but it was only a matter of time before she would become more than a handful.
Her parents were relived when they found Nicodemus, half-starved roaming near their palace. They offered him a place in their family if he would help them. Eager for the prospect of a decent home and food he readily agreed, not having any idea what he was getting himself into.
Reni took a liking to the shapeshifter almost instantly. The same could not be said for Nicodemus. He would guard her with his life, for he had given his word and was a very honorable creature, but he found the young princess to be a terror of a child. She had a princess's naivete without the princess manner to go along with it. Despite his best intentions to keep her on track with her studies in politics and magic, he was finding it almost in possible. Eventually the princess grew on Nicodemus and he swore a second oath to her, instead of her parents, to guard and protect her for as long as he can.
For all her life the only friend she ever had was Nicodemus. She was allowed to play with the other fairy children, but they all treated her like a princess more than a friend.
When she turned thirty she finally convinced her parents to let her go out into the world. She argued that is she was to inherit as queen then she would need to see the world before hand. They knew she was only saying this because of her curiosity but regardless they saw the sense in the idea and let her go, but she had to take Nicodemus with her. She was thrilled about this, where as Nico was not so much.
